The death star: It is essentially the Galactic civil war's version of real life's development of the nuclear bomb. Not meant to be used often, but will be if no other option. Main purpose of it's very existence is to drive fear into those who would seek to destroy the empire and it's structure that now holds together the galaxy. A good example that is in canon would be the scene in The Mandalorian when they show the Mining Collective come in and force control over the citizens of Mos Pelgo after the empire's defeat at the Battle of Endor. Without power, Structure, A competent Government And the means to crush rebellion and terrorism, there is only chaos.

@@curtisharvey2330 Yes, I'd say those AT-ATs are at least twice the size of a canon AT-AT. The cargo space of an AT-AT hold about 40 troopers on 2 levels. This looks like 4 levels. Also the head is way to large. It should hold a small pilot crew and be about 1 level large. This is at least 2 levels.

Disney Wars says gozantis, me personally I always prefer the Theta class barges, massive armored transport that fully encloses the AT-AT it carries. They are used in the game Empire at War to deploy them and make far more sense than sending in a valuable frigate to carry them completely exposed to defensive fire. The Empire also made use of Y-85 Titans which appeared similar to the Theta, but could deploy 4 AT-ATs at once, though they were too big to operate off of ISD's so they typically only flew off the larger ships like Executors and other super capitals.

Disney Wars says gozantis, me personally I always prefer the Theta class barges, massive armored transport that fully encloses the AT-AT it carries. They are used in the game Empire at War to deploy them and make far more sense than sending in a valuable frigate to carry them completely exposed to defensive fire. The Empire also made use of Y-85 Titans which appeared similar to the Theta, but could deploy 4 AT-ATs at once, though they were too big to operate off of ISD's so they typically only flew off the larger ships like Executors and other super capitals.
