Dagney you were right the Williamsburg pottery is a ceramic Bird bottle and the handle was missing. The handle has a hole in it to place a twig or dowl in to provide a perch for the birdies. Wow your Goodwill's have a lot of things stocked. My area does not have a Goodwill so thanks for taking us with you. ✌🕯💖
I had two of those Williamsburg bird houses. One fell off and broke. The other has little wrens in it. They love it! One was gifted to me by my inlaws and the other I thrifted. I always look in the vase sections for them as that seems to be what they think it is. Thanks for taking us along!

Home is definitely where my dog is. Only have one miniature schnauzer now . Three have gone over the rainbow bridge 💔🌈💔miss them all so much.
