This is also a problem with my 2 year old LG 86" TV plugged into ethernet directly, so I don't think it's a WiFi issue. This solution also works for ethernet, at least for a while. I've gotten to where I just switch the IPV6 off or on to reset the connection. No reboot needed. LG needs to work on their connectivity software. Nothing else in my house struggles, except for the 75" LG my wife uses (also on ethernet). Same thing!
It is helpful to hear this kind of feedback from you. I also have a Samsung frame TV and it never loses its connection. So it’s pretty annoying that LG has something going on….
Yeah i hard wire my tv and it still does this.. i think its the tvs internet card.. i have 2 Lg tv.. my old one doesnt do this but the new one does.. and other ppls do too. Seems suspicious. I think its s factory defect in certain models
I don’t know what causes it. But it is definitely annoying if it doesn’t get better. Mine has been fixed ever since following this procedure, but it doesn’t seem like it’s 100% for everyone.
Genius man! Thank you so much!
This did not work at all for me.
Does anyone else have Wi-Fi issues with their LG TV before performing these changes?

Yeah you cant change location country without being connected to a network..
Pls help me for my wifi connection
Didn’t work. Returning tv for price I paid for it
Can’t win them all I guess !! Good choice
7:16 what if I have a fire stick for wifi t.v
Then the problem would be with the fire stick not the tv.
Did not work for me.
Sorry! I hope you get it worked out though!
Thank you. It won’t even give me any networks to choose.
OMG....more bullshit.
Ya. Check out the comments. Works for at least 50% 😯
