Dear Am Singh. Thanks a Ton for your motivating comment. Such type of comments are a kind of motivation for me. I am really working hard and giving all my time after bank to make banking Awareness videos. Thanks a ton for subscribing the channel Regards
Thanks for the informative video, it would be great if you can please answer my questions below I am living and working abroad since Jan 2018. I have been sending money to my old savings account in India which I had opened when I was working there. Can you please answer my following questions- -> Is there any risk/legal issues in depositing money in this way? -> Is it mandatory to open NRE/NRO account being an NRI? -> Is it possible to convert my old savings account to NRE/NRO? -> I have two saving accounts in India, shall I close both of them and open new NRE/NRO account? or is it better to convert one to NRE and other to NRO?
Look Nitin...as per RBI if any Indian becomes NRI, then his Running Accounts, like you said you have 2 savings accounts should be converted to NRO account. Yes it should be converted to NRO account...
@@XYAxisEducation Really much good explanation but still some will have there own doubts So my doubt is as u said all saving account of India becomes nro once ur nri but income coming in that saving account from fd or some rent deposit is taxable upto 30 % as u mentioned so how can we avoid that by let all income of own generated in india by fd or rent is kept in some other blood relative name to avoid more tax.... I hope my doubt is understood..
@@neerajtapdiya4673 I understood your Doubt Look...Suppose you are an NRI and you earn Rent from your property and that property in India is in your name. Now suppose you thought that this income which you are getting from the property which is in your name that should get credited to your father account as your father is living in India and you thought of saving High Taxes. This can be done smartly but its illegal as the property is in your name and your father cant get rent amount credited in his account. Also for your knowledge apart from your question, many NRI's even don't convert their running accounts to NRO... now what can we do, citizens of our country are not afraid of laws... I hope you understood the concept, in case of any doubt feel free to comment. please subscribe and share our channel for more updates warm Regards
Very informative video but I have one question ...I will be grateful if u answer Hum NRE account open krte hai to bank dollar ka exchange rate kya degi..? Or usme se hum koi property le ya to FD karvaye ya to mutual fund me invest kar sakte hai..? To usme to koi tax cut to nahi hoga na...?or by check koi amount deposit kar sakte hai..?
Thanks for the video. My ques is since NRE has many benefits over NRO, what is the point of opening an NRO? Can't we transfer funds in India to NRE account and use them for any local payments and transfer? why do we require NRO account if there is no income in India?
Ek question ki- NRE & FCNR me agar exchange rate badh jaaye toh .ex- agar maine deposit Kiya 500 rial toh kya 5 saal baad currency fluctuate nhi karegi .toh nye increased currency rate ke hisaab se deposit hoga ya jis time jo rare that wahi milega.jab deposit Kiya tab 1 rial = 180 inr tha toh kya 5 saal baad ishi rate me inr deposit rahega ya badhega
Thank you sir for such a informative video. I beame an NRI this year....I have two question. 1. If I get my foreign income to my NRO account, do I need to pay tax on it ?? 2. My income originating in INDIA from FDs....and I earn 1.5 lakh rupees yearly as interest from FDs.....what about tax deductions for this ?? Please explain
Very nice video...One doubt is that agar person ki India se bhi income ho rahi hai like rent, pension... And Wo USA gaya hai waha se bhi income ho rahi hai. Usa ki income ko wo india me bhejna chahta hai jo ki uske upar tax na lage to NRE a/c .. To ese do tarike ki income ho rahi hai to done a/c NRO and NRE a/c open karwana.padega ???
It was really informative, could you please make video on investing in stocks for NRI. If a person is already investing in stocks while he is in India and now suppose he go to Canada but still want to continue investing in Indian stocks then how he can do and which type of bank account(NRO/NRE) will be more helpful in this case. And what to do with existing demat account could he use the same after converting the bank to NRO? If he need to open a new demat account then how he can transfer the existing stocks to new demat account ?
Hi, Thanks for explaining this so well. I have one question, I have rental income, mutual funds with my savings account. I do transfer money for family maintenance. Which account should I convert my savings account into? NRE or NRO?
Nice explanation sir.. Thanks. Please try to throw some light on people who working outside India and what benefits they may get from Indian banks. Also any idea about Forex card?? Thanks
