    For NRE- PIS Demat account and for NRO- Non -PIS Demat account. Non PIS demat account is suggested as the brokerage charges are less compared to PIS demat account and also a permission letter to RBI is also required.

    Thankyou for this.
    Sir I am Facing an issue regarding this NRO account, actually our company is on retail business, we have received funds from an NRO account and against this we have exported the goods to US.
    Now as RBI guidlines we need to close this issue in EDPMS and submit the shipping bill along with the FIRC copy (the proof of foreign currency inward in india) and i am unable to cope with the bank requirements like MT03 message of the swift and NOC, I want to know how the money flows from an NRO account to an indian CC account what are the channels involved in it so that i can avail my information.
    Your quick response would be really helpful for me sir

    instead of an NRE account, I can anyway send my UK income to any of the ordinary savings account in India via Revolut/Wise etc. Whats the benefit of having an NRE account separately?

    • @HumTumInEngland
      @HumTumInEngland  Год назад +3

      NRE is to transfer and manage their foreign income earned outside India. On the other hand, an ordinary savings or current account is meant for regular banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and payments.The funds in the NRE account can be freely repatriated (transferred) abroad, along with the interest earned, without any restrictions. In contrast, an ordinary savings or current account deals only in Indian rupees and can be used for transactions within India only. The interest earned on an NRE account is exempt from Indian income tax, while the interest earned on an ordinary savings or current account is subject to taxation.

      You can not transfer money from NRO to NRE account. Check from your bank, but you can put money in FD from NRO account as well

    Can we just transfer foreign earning in our Indian saving account and from that saving account invest in FD, share, mutual fund , bond etc? Or is it not allowed as per Indian law?

      As per RBI Regulations, a Non-Resident Indian (NRI) cannot open and operate a regular resident Savings Account and further, any account should be converted into NRI Account by the bank before one gets NRI status. It is essential for an NRI to open Non-Resident External (NRE) or Non-Resident Ordinary (NRO) Account, to do any banking transactions in India. However, depending upon the transactional requirements of the NRI/PIO, he/she can decide to open either an NRE or NRO Account, or even both.

      check the course modules and your interest along with jobs.. and then select the course.. in London the cost of living will be generally higher than Birmingham.. part time job perspective its same everywhere these days.. too much competition so it might take time to get it.. depends on how you apply, your skills etc
