Oh shit!! That opening… I damn near pissed myself and laughed out loud to the point of waking my wife up.. I’m gonna watch this video again after it’s over.. can I like this video 1000x?
Amouage ciel man is great fugiere it’s super expensive soap smell lavender and vetiver with white florals and peach with a touch of nutmeg cinnamon and a subtle incense accord in the background its heavenly which is appropriate because ciel is French for heaven/sky
I got Sartorial and that was a blindbuy from a buy of several used fragrances I got from the US. To me its very "British" and "classy". I do enjoy using it, because it doesnt smell like any other perfume people are using at my work.
Hi mate, you have inspired me to push the boat out and get a few niche barber shop fragrances. I tried to get a good deal on Sartorial but the guy on ebay was a 🍌 so I have opted for Fougere Nobile, I see it has a different cap to the one you have. Looking forward to adding this to my collection, thanks again mate!!!
The little things are really elevating your videos. Like wearing a glove while handling the fragrances or presenting the fragrances on a chessboard (which is genius and very classy). Its these details that put up the value. We notice and appreciate. Hope your channel size grows faster because you're one of the best. Entertaining, funny and gentlemanly simultaneously. Keep on.
Have you ever tried Pitralon Classic aftershave? It doesn't last too long but the scent us superb. It's only a tenner for 100ml. The face feel is the best I've come across. Loving your work. Cheers Rob pitralon.com/en/products/pitralon-classic-after-shave/
EXCELLENT list Dan. Happy belated Birthday to you as well Sir. I am still trying to find a sample of Fougere Nobile as I am not very much of a 'blind buyer'. Interesting that you chose Tangier over Invasion as a more 'traditional' Fougere. I would lean towards the opposite. Probably could be attributed to what our respective Barber's used on us as young men. Fougere Royale is already on my 'to buy list. Keep the videos coming Sir. I tune in to every one of them.
I tested Fougere l’Aube in Scent Bar, and got a bit of GIT from Creed and some florals, but after buying a full bottle, my first wear gave me a LOT of rose. It’s beautiful, but I don’t know why I sensed a bit of Green Irish Tweed after testing on skin compared to my bottle. A surprise but a good one
Love your videos Mr. Smelly.....some help please. I want to get a fragrance that is similar to YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme Le Collection (80ml)? I live in London. Are there any fragrances by Penhaligons or Diptyque that might fit the bill?
Just got houbigant fougere royale as a gift, thanks Mr smelly. Going along with this as a blind buy as you are always right! Just like when I bought bogarte pour homme! You were right then and hopefully right again!!
I'm using Sartorial quite often, but I also really like Fou d`Absinthe from L`Artisan Parfumeur. Great review. Poor kitty, but definitely deserve it ;-)))
Brilliant presentation and love your Reviews 👌🏼 I use Dr Harris Sandalwood aftershave / fougeré? Frequently -because not every likes it. So it's become my like 'Sunday-treat', Cheers 😎 👍🏼
I must say that I've been really loving fougeres recently (my good Sir, you have a mighty influence here haha) and am thinking to look more into them.. though my fragrances for reference are Givenchy Gentleman and Amouage Bracken Man, since they were really the first ones of that type that I smelled !
For a second there in the opening, I thought we were going to hear a heavy WHACK, then you would return holding a heavy book. Or perhaps the cat would go berserk and you would return with bloody scratch marks. lol All good options.
Sebastian lives in California, and you live across the pond...so really you released your video first. Time zones and all. Cool list, some of these I'll have to add to the list of fragrances to try.
I knew that was coming!! These type fragrances lift my spirit. Have you ever tried Cuir Altesse, by David Jourquin? The dry down smells like a fragrance I know, but can't place. A very classic fougere scent. If you get a chance, I would love to know if you can identify it. Great video. Wonderful list. Thank you sir.
I think Le male is classified as an oriental fougere. So yes a but a sweeter variety ... more modern perhaps ... as in post 1990s modern. Definitely in a similar category as Histoires de Parfums 1725 for me.
Possible ones I’d like to see compared to this list: MFK Masculin Pluriel, YSL Rive Gauche, Ireland Patrick, and the new Ford Beau De Jour
Hahahahahaha 😀😂😂😂. The cat is gone 😂😂😂
Still loving your videos. Never lose that humorous touch!
Thanks for the most excellent list, they’ve been added to my must try list. Now I’m going out for Korean takeaway.
Probably my favourite genre. Great vid Daniel. Defo need to check out Milano Cento.
Thanks Greg it's a good one.

Invasion Barbare is an absolute banger!

lol, did you double spray your cat? what scent is she wearing...kinda calmed her down ?
No quorum?
Great review! Nice background cenary. Hugs man! 👏👏👍
As long as that opening isn't working through any subtextual wish fulfillment for 'sweety'. Just saying...
Would you concider Creed Viking Fougere/Barbershoppy?
You sprayed the cat?? With what?? Hope not with Kouros because is gonna come after you!!!
Just got houbigant fougere royale as a gift, thanks Mr smelly. Going along with this as a blind buy as you are always right! Just like when I bought bogarte pour homme! You were right then and hopefully right again!!
😣😯🤤😢😭 Hey, I love cats! So kill me! At least I'm not part of the PC police. 😂😃😄😆

Fougere Nobile is fantastic 👍
I love that Cat lol
The cat is smelling like fougere now.
That Sartorial bottle looked so good on your chess setup.
Thanks for the info. Great video.

Thanks Rene. Not everyone likes these type of scents!
MrSmelly1977 No they don't, a shame though 😊
Was that 2 shots to the head?....poor 🙀 good video as usual enjoyed your picks
No animals were actually harmed.
Nice classy list Monsieur ✌🏻
Floris No. 89.
That intro is hilarious bro
Thanks Dose!
First 😂😂
She did have an advantage!
MrSmelly1977 _At least it wasn't that young German guy! lol_
Haha. The review hasn't started yet, and I'm already entertained.
Thanks a lot slickwoof!
Why do you treat your frag bottles like an expensive watch with that glove?
Noisy little fellow lol
what's with the depressive horroristic piano music? :D
Hey nice modulation in the new theme song

Thrown off by the new intro music lol

White glove - very classy. Nice vid. I enjoy fougeres and it all started with Brut when I was a kid.
For a second there in the opening, I thought we were going to hear a heavy WHACK, then you would return holding a heavy book. Or perhaps the cat would go berserk and you would return with bloody scratch marks. lol All good options.
Thanks a lot just add light!
Helpful video, thanks.
really like that button down
Thanks a lot Charles.
What a great video. Fragrances, chessboard, glove, bust. My favorite is Bracken man. Take care man👍
I just tested Bracken for the first time, 5 minutes ago - Am I right in saying that it is very close to T.F. Oud Wood?
That looks like a great list. I will have to get some samples. Great video as usual.
Penhaligons Sartorial is niche version of brut
I agree Matt.
MrSmelly1977 have you tried blohiem bouquet ??
I open the gates of hell on this chapter!

7:53 what is the name of the music youre using here?
Dandified fougere? That sounds really interesting. Do you consider Le Male a fougere?
I think Le male is classified as an oriental fougere. So yes a but a sweeter variety ... more modern perhaps ... as in post 1990s modern. Definitely in a similar category as Histoires de Parfums 1725 for me.
quite interesting :)
Thanks King.
+MrSmelly1977 no prob buddy!!!
I think i don‘t know anyone with a worst sense of humor than yours. Congratulations on that !
WTF?! Pretending to kill a cat, pretty low-brow.
I really like Sartorial, but got a bit hesitant to wear it after someone said it smelled like a swimming pool.😃
