i dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Clayton Jordan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Ted Lapidus PH is really a fragrance that will grow on you. I am 18 years old, and I thought I made a mispurchase. The more I wear it, the more I get used to it and love it. A girl that I'm dating at the moment, she's 17, absolutely loves it!
When I was sixteen one of my Christmas presents was some cheap Walsall Market abhoration called Gino Di Ferrari. It stank like the Gorilla pit at Dudley Zoo so on that point alone it was quite masculine.
Great second part! Nice addition of Chanel Egoiste. The best masculine Chanel IMO. Lot of quality and complexity Let's see some another masculine fragrances (for part 3!!) -Quorum Silver: great fresh spicy, a lot of ginger, lavender and cedar. - Lanvin Avant Garde: This is very sweet but with an interesting combination of beeswax and tobacco. Sadly discontinued. It goes to the same way to the DHP; 21 century masculinity. - Van Cleef & Arpels pour homme: awesome. YSL Jazz/VC&A Tsar: Good old school fougeres with a lot of depth. Herrera for men: Vintage version is really good! Lalique encre noire (and flankers) Balmain Carbone: smells like a wood pencil, rare at first but interesting has a lot of depth because it has a resinous base. Bye and Greetings from Punta Arenas, south of Chile!
I would include Beckham Homme here. It's centered around woody, leather and woolly notes, with hot spices like pepper and ginger to back those notes up, to give them freshness and power. Not a sweet note anywhere in this one, so definitely a very manly scent. It's a bit unusual to have a fragrance with all these woody-spicy notes, and then not have any sweet notes to contrast it with. But it does mean it has a very unique smell, and something that makes you stand out. Not something you would expect from a mass-market celebrity fragrance. And it's super cheap, and has good performance. I don't know why it hasn't got more hype. If it's because people are scared away by its uniqueness, or just because they are prejudiced against the Beckham name.
Great review as always but there are a few notable omissios that in my humble oppinion should have made your list!Habit Rouge by Guerlain for one!Escada pour homme,Paco Rabanne pour homme,Santos by Cartier,Acteur by Azzaro and a few others!!Perhaps you'll include some in a future presentation!!
Replace the plastic packaging of the clubman aftershave with the glass one. Wait 1 or 2 weeks to use again. I did it with clubman vanilla and it became an elegant and refined smell for 1 hour. The plastic in the packaging inhibits many notes which will not occur in the glass packaging. Take the test and then tell me the result! Greetings from Brazil!
Egoiste has been on my wish list for a couple of years now. A few days ago I caved in and bought a bottle. Now Chanel Egoiste is on your most masculine list. Oh dear, I`m not a very manly woman. Going to wear Egoiste and a dress:-) Found your channel through smurfygirly`s btw. Been enjoying your intros, they are hillarious! Thumbs up - new subbie for sure.
Another great list :) Dior Homme Parfume is most masculine from Dior Homme line and definitely a powerhouse :) Hope to see part 3 with Oscar de la Renta - Pour Lui and Giorgio Beverly Hills PH :)
I'm very big on your interpretation of "masculine" fragrances , but i do own qiute a few ... Egoiste Platinum , Eau Sauvage/Parfum/Extreme .. , Bois du Portugal, Vetiver by Guerlain,Oud Malaki by Chopard , Antidote and a few more ... SOTD Unforsaken by Kerosene
Hi bit late to this, I was wondering what your thoughts on Moschino UOMO are. I use to wear it many years ago as my adult mature scent. Love your videos and humour.
Great list, as always! I remember getting some of these as gifts when I was young and wearing them to school in the late 80’s and early 90’s. I wish some of them were still more readily available. I like the inclusion of Dior Homme Parfum too. It is one of my favorites in my current collection, and I wish I had more occasions on which to wear it. Keep up the good work and maybe your subscribers will buy you an Italian sports car. I heard it happens nowadays 👍 #smellyarmy
Two very good lists! One for part 3 - Caron Yatagan - (pine, castoreum, moss, wood and smoke!) and perhaps Platinum Egoiste, I much prefer Egoiste as a fragrance but I think its is more refined and Gentlemanly, Platinum Egoiste seems to my nose a bit more rugged with a type of shaving cream vibe.
Awesome list! Glad to see lapidus on there I actually kind of like it. I recently tried m/mink by byredo and that is a serious power house it has the same urinal cake vibe as lapidus but more powerful without the pineapple to even it out some serious stuff the only person I see wearing it is the hulk. If you get a chance check it out its insane. Keep up the good work man.
Really nice video brother! Can you do a video on fragrances you wore when you first started wearing cologne. And the people who influenced your fragrance journey as a kid.
@mrsmelly1977 really interesting video and you have done justice to the golden era of FRAGRANCES! i was wondering which fragrance is the closest to YSL pour Homme in your opinion?!
Great presentation and list, Mr. Smelly. All quality (and qualified).😉 I have two to nominate for part 3: Montana Parfum d'Homme - a piney oakmoss number w/ leather and aldehides. Also, Carven Homme (not pour homme) - another Sandalwood dominate frag that is 100% distinguished gentleman. Both are also quite affordable. Let's project! #smellyarmy 💨💨💨💨
Quorum was very Good to Me ! Great Choices ! I remember getting a bottle of Xeryus for my Graduation among other things. I also remember Halston z-14 being very masculine and Salvador Dali. But I think it all depended on availability in different areas. Or what we heard someone we were interested in say was there favourite.
Dior homme parfum... I totally agree. They released it the same year they release the eau version so you can have a winter flanker and a summer flanker and they're both great releases
I never FFWD Mr. Smelly’s intro nor should anyone! Mr. Smelly’s vids only one I can say this about. All other reviewers get the FFWD taps here on RUclips. Great Job as always Mr. Stinky...oops I mean Mr. Smelly...😜
Haven't smelled this for 25 years but I remember liking it more than Lapidus PH. A classic gentleman's fragrance as I remember. I had a small 5ml bottle which was part of a 5 fragrance gift set. I think the others were Joop, Lapidus, Boss something and Paco Rabanne Sport. Good times.
great list!!!! nice to see my favorite old school juice---azzaro. if you get a chace, try to get your hands on the 2015 flanker called Azzaro Pour Homme Intense. It's a fantastic boozy cinammon edp version that retains some of the original character with a modern age that doesn't pander to the mass appeal. very little attention in frag comm, probably because it's another flanker.
Tom Ford Anthracite is perhaps the most manly - not blokey, but not gentlemanly either - fragrance I have in my regular rotation. I'm getting addicted to it.
hey dude what about YSL opium for men loved this when i was at uni just found an old bottle fantastic also grey flannel by geoffrey beane - very masculine IMO super long lasting and powerful but a bit polarising
Dior Homme Parfum is a very manly parfum in my opinion. It is heavy and the oud component makes it even kind of dark. It's perfect for a man's night out in the cold season and way to sinister for a woman to wear.
Dior pour homme should not be in this list, that Iris note give it that feminine touch, I like iris but in women's skin definitely to me that disqualify it from this list.
Caractere by Daniel Hechter (1989). Drug store scent at this point, have not seen any reviews of this on RUclips. Woody leather, bergamot and spices. I have a reformulation, which you can buy for 10 euros for 50 ml. Big opening, manly and animalic, becomes an skin scent after. Its like a (very) poor mans synthetic Antaeus. I seen it compared to Jules, but have not smelled that one yet.
Daniel Hechter! Now there's a name from the past. I had several beautiful Daniel Hechter sportsjackets back in the 1980's. I was probably wearing Paul Sebastian, Azzaro Pour Homme or Chanel Pour Monsieur in those days. I think I was wearing one of my Hechter's with a nice pair of pants, a pressed shirt and tie when a younger and very attractive Carolina Herrera walked into the elevator in the 5th Avenue building I was working in at the time. I'm pretty sure she noticed how I was put together that moment!
There's a whole arena of the most popular artisan aftershaves that Mr. Smelly would "kvell" over if he started wet shaving. I'm surprised that he's not into all the old English houses like Geo F. Trumpers, Castle Forbes, Taylor of Old Bond Street, Czech & Speake, Truefill & Hill, DR Harris and Yardley. I would include Penhaligon's, but they're now owned by Puig. They're all very popular in the shaving community with their aftershaves, colognes and edt's. All have amazing barbershop scents and others. Between all the fragrances they have, Mr. Smelly would have enough reviews for the rest of the decade!
Love this channel. You're Like the James Bond of Fragrance Reviewers.
Thanks Franks that is a great compliment.
Totally agree!
i dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tips you can give me
@Simon Azariah instablaster =)
@Clayton Jordan I really appreciate your reply. I found the site through google and Im trying it out now.

Showing Chanels Egoiste the love it deserves! As always great choices Mr Smelly :)

i just put on my PJ's as an closure of the day....lol.. and 5 sprays of Zino Davidoff and now i find this....excellent!
Thanks Miles.

Thanks Alexis.
Mr Smelly, you’re the best reviewer on RUclips- never miss your new videos! Keep it up
Thanjs very much Nathan.
Dude.... That intro is awesome. Thanks for making me laugh out loud.
If you do a part three you need to think about including Ralph Lauren's Chaps. Great list Mr.Smelly.
Your best intro, Mr Smelly.
Thanks fredo!
Boss Number 1 and Loewe Esencia should have been in one of the top 10 compilation. They are super manly, real Tarzan/Rambo like fragrances.
Quorum, kouros and paco rabanne pour homme for me are the best manly colognes. Thanks Ms smelly nice video!!!
I would include Beckham Homme here. It's centered around woody, leather and woolly notes, with hot spices like pepper and ginger to back those notes up, to give them freshness and power. Greetings from Brazil!
glad you did another one of these. I like seeing the ads from back in the day.
Thanks Trent I'm glad the old ads are enjoyed.
Well, I've got 6 off of this list and 5 off of the original list. 11 is about as manly as my wife will let me get. Great list!
Big fan of Egoiste. Sometimes I get a big blast of cinnamon, which I don’t care for, but overall a great scent
Another great list :) Dior Homme Parfume is most masculine from Dior Homme line and definitely a powerhouse :) Hope to see part 3 with Oscar de la Renta - Pour Lui and Giorgio Beverly Hills PH :)
Thanks Ralf. I have a 7ml mini of vintage Oscar DLR Pour Lui so I may put it in part 3 if I do a part 3.
Your intro is beyond hilarious, lol.
Love love your list Mr. Smelly, but I do miss Davidoff Zino....absolutely beautiful without being obnoxious
this should get at least a billion likes for the intro :)
Dan the man!

I'm happy to hear that you like more Ted Lapidus PH!
Versace MAN - A fantastic fragrance in my book.
Hi bit late to this, I was wondering what your thoughts on Moschino UOMO are. I use to wear it many years ago as my adult mature scent. Love your videos and humour.

Thanks Mark yes I wanted to include a more contemporary vision of a masculine scent and I think DHP is it.
Two very good lists!
One for part 3 - Caron Yatagan - (pine, castoreum, moss, wood and smoke!)
and perhaps Platinum Egoiste, I much prefer Egoiste as a fragrance but I think its is more refined and Gentlemanly, Platinum Egoiste seems to my nose a bit more rugged with a type of shaving cream vibe.

Really nice video brother! Can you do a video on fragrances you wore when you first started wearing cologne. And the people who influenced your fragrance journey as a kid.
Balenciaga Pour Homme was the daring metrosexual of 92. Great video Mr. Smelly!!
@mrsmelly1977 really interesting video and you have done justice to the golden era of FRAGRANCES! i was wondering which fragrance is the closest to YSL pour Homme in your opinion?!
mr smelly youre killing me with this count down
Another superb list of beauties presented so well! Bravo 👏
epic intro (as always)
Thanks Miles.

Thanks Kerino I will definitely look into those two.
I LIKE the clip of the guy smashing his head against a heavy bag for a workout. so funny
That is one of the funniest intro mash ups that you’ve ever done wow
Thanks Fifty.
Epic epic epic is all I can say! Great list Mr Smelly!
I'd also add Hugo Boss Boss Number One too!
Awesome list! Gotta get my nose on YSL’s Pour Homme. I would say Safari by Ralph Lauren is very masculine and gentlemanly.
The Google search algorithm for MrSmelly's account is the fright of Silicon Valley.
man your intros are awesome!
Mr smelly can you do please a video of your most worn fragrances of this winter? Thanks
The man hitting the punching bag with his face representing Kouros killed it
Great intro brother that shit was fukn hilarious
Thanks Ravi.
for me dior eau sauvage and Ezzenza...good job Dan😊👍
Great video and list, love the content as usual
Quorum was very Good to Me ! Great Choices ! I remember getting a bottle of Xeryus for my Graduation among other things. I also remember Halston z-14 being very masculine and Salvador Dali. Solid list and as described for sure but such fragrances are almost daring really.. Not guaranteed to be pleasant smell for everyone
Thanks andyes I agree these are somewhat daring in most cases.
chanel egoiste is not daring, it s a hit, i ware it almost every day and get many compliments
Good list. I would have also included Santos de Cartier (in its original form).
12 sprays of Bentley Intense is right up my alley!
Absolutely agree with DHP. Hilarious intro.
Thanks a lot Bresden.
hi where are you buying these old formulations ?
Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme
tonyk25 was gonna day this one too. My dad had an old bottle laying around and I took it off his hands. So good
Haven't smelled this for 25 years but I remember liking it more than Lapidus PH. A classic gentleman's fragrance as I remember. I had a small 5ml bottle which was part of a 5 fragrance gift set. I think the others were Joop, Lapidus, Boss something and Paco Rabanne Sport. Good times.
Sorry to hear this. Do you know any old ladies whose purses are losing their smell per chance?
Lapidus Pour Homme my #&@* OOOOOOOOH! DEF Masculine!! 😘😘
Khouros on steroids damn mate you are great with these words and make me directly order it
GRABAZZI..... excellent manly fragrance, puts hair on your eyeballs, one of my favs.
great list!!!! nice to see my favorite old school juice---azzaro. if you get a chace, try to get your hands on the 2015 flanker called Azzaro Pour Homme Intense. It's a fantastic boozy cinammon edp version that retains some of the original character with a modern age that doesn't pander to the mass appeal. very little attention in frag comm, probably because it's another flanker.
Henry M. smells too different compared to the original
Great video ! As always ! Now we'll be waiting for a Part 3 ! ;)
Most enjoyable viewing experience, thanks Mr smelly
My 11 year old said she loves the Lapidus on me. She said it smells like apples and cinnamon.
Tom Ford Anthracite is perhaps the most manly - not blokey, but not gentlemanly either - fragrance I have in my regular rotation. I'm getting addicted to it.
Can you give a review on Andromeda Cologne? Rare indeed.
The first guy in the intro looks like he might be trying to achieve ultra instinct!
Ha ha thanks for watching !
hey dude
what about YSL opium for men
loved this when i was at uni
just found an old bottle
fantastic
also grey flannel by geoffrey beane - very masculine IMO
super long lasting and powerful
but a bit polarising
Thx Dan. Much appreciated.
guerlain derby
Mustache
Chest hair
Balls
Leather
Shaving cream
Anamalic
Michael Kors for men! Greetings from Germany.......
The dudes that earn the coin to afford these have done a good job
Versace Man I want that!!!!
HIS NAME IS MR. SMELLY!!! ✌️✌️😉
DH parfum is definitely a super masculine scent. One of my favourites but i feel bad to spend 100€ for a bottle...
Dior Homme Parfum is a very manly parfum in my opinion. It is heavy and the oud component makes it even kind of dark. It's perfect for a man's night out in the cold season and way to sinister for a woman to wear.
Andreas Krausser what ? It’s a woman’s scent with homme written on it , tom Ford black orchid is more manly and that’s a female scent
Vintage Dior Jewels(Jules) = Big Balling
What an intro ....Nice list!
Thanks Torry.
Dior Homme Parfum is manly as hell. Good choice.
Dior pour homme should not be in this list, that Iris note give it that feminine touch, I like iris but in women's skin definitely to me that disqualify it from this list.
Jules, yes !
Denim Original, Van Cleef and Arpels Pour Homme, Gray Flanell Geofrey Beene,
DHP is great, manly scent! My fav from Dior Homme line.
Thanks Przemyslaw I agree.
Tsar by Van Cleef & Arpels...
Terre d'Hermes. Smells manly like no other.
I seen it compared to Jules, but have not smelled that one yet.
is it still in the stores?
MultiMrMiles Yes, drug stores (Kruidvat) in the Netherlands and Belgium for sure.
Daniel Hechter! Now there's a name from the past. I had several beautiful Daniel Hechter sportsjackets back in the 1980's. thanks! Good looking out bro.
an 80s classic scene, what an decade it was!
..... and Van Cleef & Arpels pour Homme has been missed to.
Thanks sir for the review, very helpful
Thanks a lot TS.
I love Azzaro pour Homme but it evaporates very fast on me.
Egoiste, lol. I was told I smelt like an old woman when I bought that twenty years ago.
DHP is thoroughly manly. Older manly in fact. 40 and up manly. I better steer clear of it for 10-15 years.
Parfums de Nicolai
New York EDT
Very masculine in my opinion
Thanks Joey.
Another excellent video. #smellyarmy
Thanks Hugo!
Where's wd40?
Tell that push up guy that girl under him is already gone 😂😂😂
good choices , but what kind of man wants to smell like a lipstick ?! ( dior homme )
Versace Man

Thanks a lot Matt. Jules is the hardest to find a vintage bottle of but the reissue is good.
I will try and check some of those out Bob.
Hello,
When can we expect Top Ten Most Masculine Fragrances for Women? :)
Ha ha. Yes "top men most masculine fragrances for men" is a bit of a redundant description.
Think about all the market possibilities :D
😂😂😂 the intro 😂😂😂
👏👏👏
