Conan would like it here in Eastern Washington, Spokane is where I am the main city in this part of the state and the largest after Seattle. Its 29F right now and we get plenty of snow. Its 200 miles east of Seattle on the otherside of the Cascade Mountains, so it doesn't rain here as much as Seattle but we get snow and it gets much colder, but in the summer it doesn't rain as much and gets hotter than Seattle into the 80s and 90s. So its more extreme in both ends than Seattle. Colder and snowier but also warmer and not as rainy. I hate the snow myself but as I said the summers are nice here though. And the snow is from November through February normally with more rare exceptions in March and October. But 65 is an average fall or spring day here but would be a warm winter day and a slightly below normal afternoon temp during the summer.
I have lived in Orange County, California for almost 5 years now. People who say there are no seasons here are just not paying attention. Are the seasons as obvious as other places I have lived? No. But they exist. Winter is usually the rainiest part of the year. It’s more often windy in the fall. Spring and early summer are pleasant. Late summer and early fall are hotter and dryer. But more than the weather, the easiest way to tell the seasons is by what’s blooming. Some plant is always in bloom here. The first year I was here I was enchanted by the trees that are covered in little white flowers in December. So lovely. Also wild life is different depending on the time of year. Lots of migratory birds come through. Whales too. I see little baby squirrels in the spring. Coyotes are present year round but their behavior changes depending on the time of year. I’m far more likely to see them in the latter half of the fall when it’s dark earlier in the evening. Sea lions exhibit different behaviors too. I love seeing cactus, pine trees, and palm trees right next to each other. Really fantastic. I live between a creek and the ocean. In the morning with the marine cover I can smell the ocean. Then as the day heats up and the clouds burn off, the loamy smell of the creek starts perfuming the air. I live near a bunch of trails too. I can tell the time of day by the kind of people and the number of them. Kids walk and ride their bikes to school here. Just after rush hour, come the evening runners. Early morning joggers and dog walkers come by too. Between 9 & 11 pm, lots of doggies have their final walk of the day. If you are paying attention you will note seasons and cycles. He obviously like saying the word, "coat."
I do like a sweater and a coat. Southern CA is too hot.
WOW, LA people think 15 blocks is a long walk 😅. Anything under two miles, people will walk even if it’s 15F in Boston. I’m surprised everyone in LA isn’t obese. They can’t walk 1mile? Really? That’s like a 15-20 minute walk.
LOL- I left Boston because I don't like seasons!
The noise Conan makes is really annoying but never failed to make me laugh haha.
Who is the woman next to him?
