At around 8:50 the fret board is so dark it looks like the frets are levitating in thin air!! So cool ...I really want one of these basses ..made my way of course, bubinga body 6 string fret-less/with lines that are lit up with brownish red LED's on an ebony fret board Long Scale with active humbucking pickups Bronze bridge/ hardware...through body neck also bubinga...and a smallish body not too big and beveled into an elongated oval kinda like the Ibenez shape

I'm pretty sure the bass strings are B-E-A-D-G-C, but it's tuned B-E-A-D-F#-B. I have a 5 string E to c and I've tuned it like his (E-A-D-F#-B) and I'm getting the same sound. He's definitely playing it like a regular guitar (reg guitar chord shapes).

awesome technique from the legen Abraham Laboriel. He started this with no ramps. Ramps are cool but surely not necessary.
