    Can it do a geometry generation without base model, just constrain volume?

      The model to be optimized has an initial volume. Inside this volume sub regions are created to apply boundary conditions. [Loads / constraints]
      These sub regions are the part of the model that won’t be evaluated / modified during the optimization. Said differently, that geometry will remain fixed and won’t change shape.
      Other things to consider are the manufacturing processes that will be used to fabricate the part. This will have impact on how the optimizer looks at the model, and determines which elements to retain, versus discard during the optimization.
