damn, thank you for putting this up. In 1986 I was 13 years old, and I had Master of Puppets, Reign in Blood and No Rest from the Wicked. Still thrashing to this day.
I used to go into the record store an buy albums blind, based on band names and artwork. This was one of em..I lost the album decades ago but I can't believe it's here on RUclips. Can't wait to listen to it again..thanks for posting it!
I bought this album from my friend for $4 back in 1987. Quickly became my favorite with those stacked guitars, gritty lyrics and a kick ass rhythm section.
thanks for caring so much about this music. when i learn how to post on my channel i'm gonna blow away most other posts by posting from mint first pressings on a good rig.
I saw these guys play a lot in the mid to late 80's. Always put on a good show. Solid band. They should release it on cd with the demo. Still sounds as good today as when I first heard it. - edit- I looked and sure enough, the same label that released the first 3 Sacrifice albums with all the extra bonus material on them released this with the demo and live at Foufounes Electriques 10/04/86 (I bet I was at that show) and 2 more songs from a James 0 session. I absolutely need a copy. The label is Marquee Records out of Brazil. I need a copy, along with their '88 Split Personality album, which also came out on Marquee. I haven't looked to see what the bonus material is on that one yet., but I know I need a copy. I also need those Sacrifice re-issues too.
Need to finish my list of Canadian Punk/Crossover bands from 1976 to 1989. *Ontario* Forgotten Rebels, The Diodes, Viletones, Teenage Head, Sudden Impact, Hype *Alberta* S.N.F.U., Beyond Possession, Broken Smile *Quebec* The Nils, Ripcordz, The Asexuals *Manitoba* Personality Crisis *B.C.* D.O.A., The Subhumans, The Dishrags, Pointed Sticks, The Modernettes, NoMeansNo, Neos, Young Canadians, Dayglo Abortions, Death Sentence, Slow, House Of Commons, U-J3RK's, Active Dog, Bill Of Rights, The Spores, Unnatural Silence, A.K.O.B., Red Tide, The Evaporators, Mecca Normal, Desperate Minds, Fratricide, The Real McKenzies
seriously?! There are literally hundreds of Canadian bands that would fit in the genres of both punk and/or crossover during those 12 years! And thats just those that released vinyl or cassettes!
21 year's young when I got this album back in 86-87 Now I'm almost 59 and still find myself listening to IT at least once per 3-6 months CAUSE back in the day, I absolutely Was GaGa aboot IT Are they not Made in Canada ⁉️❓❔ Toronto ❔ -Hamilton❔ Don't matter,Theyre from Rock OUT TOEN in My books 👍⚠️👁️❗👁️
This is a decent album but it could never compare to their 1984 "Freaked Out" demo. To me what brings this LP down a notch is the polished sound and the Crossover/Metal influence which is almost completely absent on the demo.
That could be the stupidest thing I have ever half read. Let me guess , you where in a band that these guys DESTROYED back in the day. This was the best record I ever owned.

Classic
One of the album that push me to learn electric guitar.
Great band
Their Freaked Out demo rules, as well
This is a decent album but it could never compare to their 1984 "Freaked Out" demo. To me what brings this LP down a notch is the polished sound and the Crossover/Metal influence which is almost completely absent on the demo.
Get Off My Lawn sent me here.
This album is so good but why is the second album not so good.
I loved this band in my teen years, Gonzo was great fun, i started listening to Ted Nugent (70s stuff, rest is garbage)
Are you reading these comments, Steve Milo?
Up
THIS IS BETTER THAN SLAUGHTER/STRAPPADO. PERIOD.
Ngl… Slaughter sucked
No way Punks!!
Better than the UK skin head band butt don't get me wrong they're good 🍻
Rager!
Not the British Skinhead band? So sad!
Mediocre songs, recording, performance, vocalist, cover art, band name.
That could be the stupidest thing I have ever half read. Let me guess , you where in a band that these guys DESTROYED back in the day. This was the best record I ever owned.
Steve Lee yea
Bob Townsend is a loser from back in the day, looks like he still is
Go back to your overproduced overhyped radio rock old man. This slab ruled my teenage years. Skate or die!!!
