Hey man, hope all is well. I've been posting some RUclips Shorts lately. Do you get notified when I post those? I'm not sure if notifications are working on them?
Now that my beard is approaching 7 months, I like to use combs with bigger wider teeth. I never used that cheap plastic dime store comb. I invested in a couple of "Kent" combs about 8 years ago.I also bought a inexpensive detangler brush at the grocery store. Not to mention I also have my ritual that seems to keep my beard hydrated and I don't have split ends. I put beard oil in right out of a morning shower. (Honest Amish) Then 4- 5 hours later, I bought 5 different oils for Mon - Fri. Different one each day at lunchtime. Marula oil, Vitamin E,oil, Macadamia oil,Pracashi oil, Argan oil. I bought all these online from Hollywood beauty supply. Then at bedtime, I put in beard butter from several different companies. But I have at least 10 different butters that are my favorite from Beard of God. They just blow me away. They're my favorite. Plus I do drink probably 3 12oz bottles of water a day. I drink one cup of green tea a day. And I also take liquid biotin from the 10, 000 ui little bottle. A few drops by mouth once a day. I try to eat one little jello cup. at dinner. And before bed I have a delicious RYSE Cinnamon toast flavor protein powder shake with "Vital Proteins " brand Collagen peptides. I have a great beard at 67 ,no split ends!!🧔
I get them occasionally. I just go through and trim them and the knots at the same time. I have notice that adding Castor oil to my other beard oils has really put a stall on my split ends. Side note, my beard has never been softer either! Thanks for the content Joe!
@Titanium Beard hey man. I have never used castor oil straight up. I do know my beard doesn’t care for it as some others. I’m okay with it if it’s not the main ingredient.
All of those things helped get rid of my split ends. But one more important thing to do is invest in silk or satin pillow cases. Cotton may be soft and comfortable for the skin. But the cotton fibers absorb too much oil and moisture from our beards. I'm a side sleeper who rolls back and forth several times during the night. Now I have zero split ends on my big beard.
@@Joet9 Silk pillows verses cotton pillows are more crucial to hair that is more afro textured or hair that is very long. I learned this from the natural hair ladies and it works for beards also.
I sleep omy side and the further up my beard on the sides the less it eants to grow long, snd the tips are cut and not tapered so it can't be my terminal length there. I wonfer if I should try silk.
I drink a lot of water and I get split ends like crazy. Sometimes a hair will look like a tree from the nortb in the winter with numerous branches! What teally drives me nuts are the knots I'll get at the end of a single hair.
Hi bro! How do you avoid your mustache from interfering when you eat? :( I've always wanted to grow one like yours, but any hair touching my lips becomes just so anoying to me! Please give me advices and some rules to succesfully rock a mustache!
Hey Antonio , Thanks man for watching and supporting my channel. Much appreciate it. I do very little trimming on my mustache. I really just have it parted down the middle and combed to the side. I do have a couple techniques that may be helpful when eating. LOL Sounds like I may have to answer your question in a video. 👊🏻
It's not really the need to use beard product the only beard product I use is beard balm, I use castor oil shampoo a leave in conditioner and peppermint oil and that it and I have a long beard that's it! ✌️
Feel free to leave a comment below. Have you ever had split ends in your beard? How did you recover?
Hey waiting for your beard update long time man

The silk pillow trick. I haven’t tried that yet👏🏻 I haven’t had any split ends so hopefully my routine will keep them away.

Great for the coming video. I can't wait to watch it haha.
Joe 🤙🤙
Thanks for the support.
I just trim them off with a sharp scissors. Admittedly, I don’t drink enough water.
Man I know the water consumption can be difficult at times. Thanks for commenting. Much appreciated!

Yeah, those knots can seem to appear out of nowhere. I usually just go slow with a wide tooth comb and try to eliminate any tangles.
