Turn indicators are an eye sore. Hopefully we get some aftermarkets ones, doesn’t necessarily have to be sequential, but form fitting like the EU version would be great.
In italy we have front sequential turn indicator on the tank and the rear on the plateholder (also sequential). They are really different and i think they are beautiful
I recently got the street bike urge again. I go through different life stages and want different things. Been street riding 30 years plus offroad/motocross 43 years and worked at multiple motorcycle dealerships. Even work at Ducati here at downtown Dallas. Wanted to try the new 2022 Aprilia RS660 and more upright Touno 660. Went and looked Aug 2022 few days ago. Didn't like how they felt, both for different reasons and appears reliability low. Overall feel for the Touno was off with wide tank and bars. RS660 still to much sport bike lean and sport bikes require lifting leg to high to avoid hitting passanger seat or the 250.00 painted seat cowl. Then I remembered my time at Ducati. The Ducati motors are a joy with low-end torque plus the grunt/rumble sound. Opposite from an Yamaha R6 I owned or numerous /countless other brands. I was always surprised by the experience when I rode a ducati street bike from the monster, hypermotard, diavel, miltistrada, or panigale. Primary reason I think I'm going with a 2020 821 monster is they are different and they have a unique look but my big decision is based off rider position. I am 52 yo and just don't want to ride tall, wide, leaned forward with legs bent back now. If I can make the numbers work with my budget/finances I will be going 1 to 2 year old Ducati Monster. There's just something different and more pleasing about Italian vehicles compared to the Asian counterparts. Downside more cost but typically higher resale if you treat your toy well and keep everything fresh. And these monsters can easily do track days where skilled racers/track riders can smoke guys on R1, gsxr and ZX Supersport motorcycles!
I got the dealer to fit an ohlins steering damper to mine and it 100% sorts out the highway stability issue. Mind you you have to have the damper set to a fairly strong setting. It really makes this bike fun to ride long distances and its an item that should be fitted as standard as in my view the bike is dangerous without it.
Some Ducati photos show the front turn signals integrated into the frame, but all the videos I've seen show traditional external LED turn signals sticking out the sides. Looks like they couldn't get those frame mounted LED's by the DOT?
Any other Monster: No. The 937 is light enough and if you keep it on the low power setting it honestly wouldn’t make a bad first bike. If you don’t mind the idea of dropping a 13K bike while you’re learning 😅
Thanks for an informative and well produced video. I'm 5'10" as well, and it looks like you flatfooted it pretty easily. My Ducati is waiting for me in Europe, so I get the groovy turn signals, but curious as to what aftermarket exhausts will be available there- I hear they are a little touchier about that stuff.
@The Power Moves LOVE it, perfect bike for both scooting around Madrid and low enough for easy/on/off, as I predicted. Still miss the linear feeling of my Tiger with the triple engine, but once I got used to the idea that the roughness is part of the charm, I'm much better with the motor. I am having minor fantasies of fabricating a Givi attachment plate to take the place of my rear cowl, as I would love a very small hard topcase (like a Givi 19L) but if I say anything like that on the Monster boards I get a lot of hate. I don't care if it looks like ass, I just want to carry some gear around securely!
@The Power Moves I see both your replies…it does warm up, but here in Spain we can lane split so I don’t really sit in traffic with it. Out on the backroads it’s not a problem at all, I ride with my knees slight pointed out anyway (and I wear riding pants) so they are not right up against the bike.
To be sick ? add new fully adjustable mirrors, ohlins adjustable forks and rear shock , Ohlins adj steering damper, lose the plate fender and install the plate under the seat , new turn signals front and rear. Full system exhaust with remap. BST Carbon fiber rims and race tires.
I just realized the turn signals aren’t those integrated units shown all over the press coverage...dang it DOT! Why you gotta dork up a beautiful biscotti! 😋
I posted my comment before you mentioned it in the vid haha, but ya, realistically, it’s just a matter of fitting that euro spec version onto the bike after the purchase then all is right in the world again 👌
For $12k you can’t even have adjustable suspension as an option, especially considering how much Ducati is trying to make it more dynamic. Where’s the s version?
to be honest, I still prefer the old design with the muscular look and the curved exhaust pipes. But now I guess I need to adapt to this new appearance...
what really pisses me off about this bike is how far they dumbed down the power of the bike, like come on!!! almost a "liter" bike and just 110HP????? and by the way, im a monster fan, I own the 2019 821 stealth. still pisses me off
So, by abandoning their trellis frame design and adopting the Japanese style one, it's like admitting they were wrong all this time, since 1986 when all Japanese bike makers starting using it...
Kids. If you're riding to hear noise, you're doing it wrong. Turn signals aren't there to look invisible. They're there to allow surrounding traffic to know what you're doing so you don't end up a hood ornament. Quit being so vain. Dying young with a great looking corpse ain't all it's cracked up to be.
At no point we hear the engine... just elevator music. Annoying... Is this a true biker channel or just “let’s go to the mall with my girlfriends” channel?
Good looking bike. Good review. Good editing.

You can buy one sequential turn signals from Ducati Omaha
In italy we have front sequential turn indicator on the tank and the rear on the plateholder (also sequential).
They are really different and i think they are beautiful
Mate, you are doing better reviews than 99% of other out there. Great real-world detail and useful. Thanks.

Your style, presentation, and ability to point out the details earns you 👍🏼 and subscribe
Still waiting on a video of the termi options :(
Great camera work, editing and talking points - Thumbs up TFLbike!! Please do the SuperSport 950S when it's available.
im considering getting one, i live in SF too
The bike sounds good, you don't need a loud bike. Those bike are tuned on the exhaust you change that the whole bike could change.

Great review! Quick and to the point and fantastic production
I cant decide whether to buy mt09 2021 or monstet 2021, does anyone got any toughts on this two beast ? :)
isnt the mt09 bigger in size with a smaller engine?
Thank you for interesting and straight to the point review👍 One question I have - would you recommend this bike for a beginner rider?
Any other Monster: No. The 937 is light enough and if you keep it on the low power setting it honestly wouldn’t make a bad first bike. If you don’t mind the idea of dropping a 13K bike while you’re learning 😅
Great review! Amazing scenery, how lucky are you to ride around San Francisco on a new Ducati! Life is good!
Did they fire up the model with the Termignoni exhaust? If so, did you get any video?

Great review! Thanks
8:05 I like the look of the trellis frame.
Really nice review Kase
What happened to the front indicators? Normally they are included in the chassis
It's for US DOT regulations.
Great review. I love it even more now.
Great review as always, Kase! And you're right, that bike suits you well!
Does it have a fuel gauge or good fuel range. ?
it tells you how many more miles you can go until dry.
Fantastic review, How did you get to ride up Lambard street?
Kase told me local PD shut it down for them, he got to ride down and back up. Pretty cool deal!
To be sick ? add new fully adjustable mirrors, ohlins adjustable forks and rear shock , Ohlins adj steering damper, lose the plate fender and install the plate under the seat , new turn signals front and rear. Full system exhaust with remap. BST Carbon fiber rims and race tires.
after all this the bike is going to be 17k
please provide link for the helmet !
Its a Biltwell Gringo S with a bubble shield
Nice does this bike have a fuel gauge?
no
Yes, it has range to empty.
What's your jacket please?
Pitty we won't get the Euro style turn signals, other than that the bike looks fine.
Loved the review!
I just realized the turn signals aren’t those integrated units shown all over the press coverage...dang it DOT! Why you gotta dork up a beautiful biscotti! 😋

US DOT regulations.

some people out there say it's better than on MT09 SP
Subscribed and I bought this exact bike today 👍
Have you seen the Ghost Rider 250?
I would like to see a video on that!
Of coarse we don’t get the cool flush mounted LED turn signals on the front. We never get the cool shit 😔
to be honest, I still prefer the old design with the muscular look and the curved exhaust pipes. But now I guess I need to adapt to this new appearance...
Fun fact: Previous model also had 1200 CC and was STRONGER!!
That sucks about the turn signals. 😕
That's a lot of weight to lose and it just makes it competitive. Even when bikes become black heater box the weight may stay the same.
No steering damper . No wind screen . 6 and 7
The price is a dumb thing to be negative about. This is a good bike for $11k. You can get cheaper bikes, but they're not as nice.
Aesthetic wise it doesnt feel like a ducati but performance will be glorious
is it a easy ride for a new biker?
Oh yeah. Extremely light and manoeuvrable
channel logo looks like "TFC",
Bigger motor? I though the old one had a 1200???
Bigger motor than the 797 and 821 (middle weight). They still offer the Monster 1200 for 2021
@@rajsteint6487 ah, did it get the new style?
I would pick a MT09 SP instead, but great review
what really pisses me off about this bike is how far they dumbed down the power of the bike, like come on!!! almost a "liter" bike and just 110HP????? and by the way, im a monster fan, I own the 2019 821 stealth. still pisses me off
You’ll call it more than a Monster when it go’s into Limp mode .. a standard Ducati feature,
Lov the elevator electric guitar music
They Dukey Monster😁
Does anyone know if Canada will have to have these very ugly turn signals the Americans are stuck with?
Cliche question... Could this be a beginner bike?
I’d just get an MT10
This or a BMW F900R?
1290 SDR
I'm gonna start reporting every mustang to dot for having sequential turn signals
18000 dollars onroad in India
no one cares about india dude
So, by abandoning their trellis frame design and adopting the Japanese style one, it's like admitting they were wrong all this time, since 1986 when all Japanese bike makers starting using it...
Are you sure it's 414 curb weight? That's only 4 lb less than the new MT09.
The dry weight is 366lbs according to Ducati, but 414 with fluids
So that would still put it 4lbs off the MT09. I seriously thought it would be at least 20-30 lbs less.
Expensive!
I looks funky
Great review, but this bike is so ugly compared to previous generations
Kids.

Meh, just not feeling it. It looks as dull as Ducati's Scrambler line.
At no point we hear the engine... just elevator music.
Annoying...
Is this a true biker channel or just “let’s go to the mall with my girlfriends” channel?
The stock exhaust sound like a broken china bike
Looks like a 400cc bike. It's just not a monster without the trellis frame
Imagine a 400cc looking bike with the power of 950cc bike. I own one and ride with the big boys and they are shocked how I’m able to cope.
Looks kinda ugly without the trellis frame
It looks sooo bad. It looks plastic or like an electric bike and the front headlight looks like it was stolen off a Mv Agusta
Vertically challenged. You lost all credibility.
Esto no es una ducati, deberian despedir a los diseñadores!!!!!!!!! 😡
