I am 33 years old and this band flew under the radar to my disappointment. This song came on when i was driving through downtown Houston at 11:30 pm and it was absolutely perfect! I immediately fell in love with the song and band. Awesome live performance
Twilight Zone has been one of my favorite songs since I first heard it back in 1982. I was entering my freshman year of high school....even after all these years, when I hear this song on the radio, up goes the volume as loud as it can go. 33 years later, their live version rocked! Golden Earring is likely one of the most under appreciated bands (at least in the U.S.) in Rock history. The groove on this performance is killer. This is one of the greatest rock songs ever. George Kooymans is such a fantastic guitarist. Sad to hear of George's illness. Sending positive thoughts his way.

Shocking news about GK. I am very sad. I met him once back in the early 70. I was 16. He got his car serviced with my scout leader who had a shop . I was in the shop when he came in and was in awe.. Wow I thought this is one of the founders of Golden Earing!! Really nice guy, down to Earth. Gave me tickets to their upcoming concert at that time. Praying for him.. Guys bedankt for the music!!!

seen these guys in 75', at the University of Colorado, in Boulder. The line up was: Henry Gross, Golden Erring, War, Doobie Bros. till this day, its still one of my best concerts ive been too.

I saw them by accident in 1985. I wanted to buy tickets for Kool and the Gang but got the dates wrong when I called the arena. I wasn't disappointed by the show, but my girlfriend was. I broke up with her a week later. LOL

T Mee not quite. This line up plays since 1970 since drummer Cesar joined them to replace Sieb Warner. Leadvocalist Barry joined in 1967, he replaced Frans Krassenburg. Guitarplayer George and bassplayer Rinus started the group in 1961. But this 4 headed line up is since 1970.

Ik was 14 toen ik de Earring(s) hoorde in 1964. Ben altijd fan gebleven van een van de beste rockbands allertijden. Kreeg zo vaak rillingen bij hun muziek en als ik verneem dat George Kooymans ziek is verdwijnen de rillingen en maken plaats voor verdriet. Dank George voor de prachtige nummers die je schreef voor de Earring en andere bands en artiesten. Jij blijft de aller grootste! Fuck that ilness.

Had the opportunity to see them in The Netherlands back in the early 70s. These guys rocked. A great concert.
They are an Amazing band great voices great guitars and drumming. Still great today, Excellent riffs George. I wonder why they are not in the Rock and Roll Hall Fame either

Still sound Fabulous, have loved them since I was a teenager back in the 70's. Always reminds my of my beautiful husband who has sadly been gone 6 years now. He introduced me to their music.
I saw them 3 or 4 times at the Spectrum in Philly as an opening act in the 70s. They were always great. Philly loved them.
