Hi watching your video here I had a few questions.
So a flying object on the freeway took my driver mirror right off Prior to that my master control switch worked fine operating my other windows and moving mi mirrors.After replacing the mirror at a mechanic shop the master control switch doesn't control windows or mirrors now .Do you have an suggestion as to why this might have happened and how to solve/Troubleshoot ?
@@anqeltrejo8879 feels like they failed to plug in the window control switch. Check inside the door panel.
@Apache Ranch I apologize I meant they replaced driver Mirror** ..but take off the door panel to check if it's plugged in properly anyway?
@@anqeltrejo8879 yes - they may have opened that panel to connect mirror wiring. And forgot to plug in that window switch.
@Apache Ranch HI I just got a chance to take the door panel off everything seems to be connected is there a fuse that maybe I can check

Well, it was a nice thought. Probably the window motor on my 2018. Stupid thing has been an issue for a year. Cant roll it up with the door open, message on the screen everytime i turn it on telling me to open and close the window. Finally, today it stopped moving at all. I get what sounds like an electronic scratch noise for 1/4 sec and thats it. Going to the dealership on monday.

Hey I had this issue, it’s the wires in the boot where you have to open the door so much, have someone take the panel off and the boot and you’ll probably see where wire are broken.
@@xitzq2ux957 I checked that a year ago, the wires were fine. In the last year somet wiring the door itself went bad but then the motor went out 3 months ago so I got both replaced.
Awesome my drivers window just stopped working too. I don’t hear anything when I press the switch. Is there a way to troubleshoot the regulator vs replacing the switch

I've got an issue where the control on the drivers side completely quit any clue if there is a fuse for this or would it be a wiring issue
Check the wiring going through to door jam into the hood area. I’ve seen wires here get cut over the years. No fuse that I am aware of.
Hi I followed your video to the tee and it still won’t work my driver window won’t go up or down at all
My 2017 says door ajar when closed. Windows don't work when closed but work fine when door is open! No corrosion. Have not taken apart the door yet.
I’m betting the wiring harness between the upper and lower door hinges is damaged. Unravel the tape at the bending point and look for damaged wires.
I inspected that quickly but did not peel back the covering. I'll check that out. Thanks.

So, I did two things yesterday. One was detach the battery terminals (for 30min) in hopes that something would just reset. I also pulled the boot and disconnected the plastic gray connector, blew on it in case of dust or dirt, and snapped it back together. Well, nothing fixed it yesterday. But this morning the 'door ajar' light was off, and my window switches (and entire door console) work perfectly! Not sure what exactly fixed it. But it seems fixed. If it goes out again, I will know that there is a bad wire connection somewhere in the wiring harness. But for now, I'm going to leave it be.
Well that is great! Yeah I think you are right - some frayed wire somewhere. Maybe it will be a long time before it makes another bad connection that triggers the light. I wish you the best!

Did that fix your problem? There is also a problem with the window not wanting to stay closed. Seems to be a reprograming issue.

You might have a bad window motor. You can find these on Amazon for around $75 as of fall 2022.
@@andrewhoover1385 loose wire in harness. Mine does the same thing. If you have power mirrors with fold the fold won’t work either.
@@JN0777 so if i did the power fold mirror upgrade the switch wont work? Also my passenger window dont go down from driver side only passenger would that be the switch?
Same issue with front passenger, BUT, neither the passenger or drivers side switch roll the window up/down. I can hear clicking though.

I think your window motor may be inoperative? Sounds like power is going there (you hear a click) but the action at the motor is failed?
yes correct. Gonna order a new motor tonight and see how that goes
