A large school of pseudomugil luminatus would look great in that tank. They are very underrated fish that you will never get bored of, they get wild colours and have amazing fin pattern that fan out.

Love the scape,my suggestion for the fish would be Gertrude's Spotted Blue Eye Rainbowfish
The blue eye and flickering fins will make them pop in the black backdrop and beautiful scape.

CPD is really shy, i have them in my 75litre Tall, i do not have much hardscape. They really like to hide behind the small scape i have in the tank. Saw some Emperor Tetra in my LFS, i think it will definitely look nice in your tank. Have been watching your video for sometime since late last year. Purpose is to learn how to get my plant grow well and get rid of algae. I have learn a lot from you. Thank you for all the wonderful information you have shared, it has really help me to understand more.

Thanks George - these internals I've used, I found them very hard to dismantle when in-situ and the amount of filter foam is very modest. Lighting and cabinet looks good.

I have this tank and I completely agree that whilst well-made, this filter has two little firm and gets clogged quite easily. I’m therefore upgrading to a BioMaster 350 Thermo, which should do a much better job and removes the unsightly internal filter.

I love the build and quality of this tank, which I have in black. You’re right the lighting unit is a good one and generates 1800 lm which gives an approximate rate of 24 lm/ litre, which I guess Tropica would accept as being in the “medium“ range of light intensity. Therefore, I assume it will ‘work’ with their plants that are rated as “medium“, especially with CO2 injection. As previously mentioned, the weak spot has been the internal filter, and there is a rather provocative well known/religious RUclipsr who points out the limitations of this filter and then adapts the design and fills it with his proprietary bio media.

Hi, is really volume of this aquarium 75 litres (20 gallons)? Everywhere is that dimensions of the aquarium are 50cm x 36 cm x 42cm. Because the aquarium has the cover (I think around 7 cm high) the volume can not be 75 litres (gallons) if the dimensions are right. Thank you very much for your answer.

How do George, I'll probably comment again at the end, but before I watch what I already know I'm going to love.... imagine if there was a small arowana type fish, just a dragon like fish moving over the tiny picture of a Japanese landscape you created!
And here I am Haha, I like that you have used the easy plants mate, I recently set up a grow out tank upstairs, and pretty much most of the plants you have used are stocked in pets at home (I know I know, pets at home!). In all honesty i prefer to get them from them because in most fish stores, although they stock tropica... they are usually all in a plant holding tank. Every time I end up with that 1 snail that reproduces like crazy!
But the point for me for the grow out tank kind of relates to your idea of not needing to go crazy.
If you know you are going to be setting up a new big scape soon, rather than spenind fortunes on plants, set up a tank to plant a few of each species and propagate. An old 60 litre with 6 different plants, a light and one of those cheap cow kits has grown like crazy and I have been able to trim and replant the stems at least 3 times in the past few weeks.
Thanks again mate for a cool vid.
