- I had no idea we had 26 trailers on the farm, in fact we had so many that I lost count, but not all of them are runners!!!. Taking a look at each of them and making a decision on whether to sell it, save it or scrap it. Some of these need to go to make room for a new investment.
Wow that’s a lot of trailers. Defo some for the scrap bin.

Time is the biggest restrictor. Everyone needs a glory hole and a graveyard, but its a fine line between the two. We have 16 trailers I think, all have a job of some kind, though half are more for convenience than proper graft!
Agreed, although I think we are well past the fine line, big clean out well over due. 😃👍

Goodness you have some amount of trailers if you sold half of them you probably wouldn't miss them if you have a clear out it will definitely help fund your new low loader friend of mine bought a new kane very well made
Paul I have heard nothing but good reports on the Kane Low Loaders, seem to be very well made. Yes defo need to ship some trailers on!
Just get a big skip in and fill it with all the scrap. Give the place a tidy and get rid of all that scrap around the yard and fields.
Hopefully the fields dry up soon and I can get on them to gather all this scrap. 😊🤞
@@FlyingFergyMan yeah needs to dry up I know some trailers may have sentimental value to your father ect but there comes a point where you just have to ask yourself am I really going to use that or restore it? I’ve had to make the decision on a few things at home myself. Keep up the videos lovely fleet of Masseys😍

Don’t joke Alan.. that was considered but she is heavy enough on the ground. Maybe with flotation tyres we get some very greedy boards on.😂

Good video 👍 our vintage club has just had to move premises and with over 30years of keeping stuff that might be handy we had to be ruthless myself and a pal had a collection of plough metal and we made the decision to only keep what we had ploughs for 😕 having said that in total probably had over £2000 in scrap money for the club scrap 👍 afraid sentiment didn't help with making decision to scrap stuff🙄👍

Think I’d have a few more away to make space for the low loader 😆😁. I’ve just picked up (few weeks back) a low loader my self with the idea of moving hay and the forklift about. They can do plenty of jobs when you start thinking about them 👍👌

I would strongly recommend a kane low loader they’re the lowest floor height and will take 14 bales comfortably

That sounds like a good plan. Plant trailer is all so do for a bale trailer. But have you thought about a bump trailer that would take the 6ton digger? I know it wouldn't be any good for 1200.
Thanks Richard, did think about dump trailer but thought low loader would be that little bit more versatile and would be able to handle, fertilizer, bales, digger and the mighty 1200. 👍
