Brilliant idea with a nail builder. Didn’t know this stuff existed. I will definitely will try that to grow and strengthen my natural nails. Thank you ❤
Wow. This is the best nail tutorial I have come across to date. I also have long natural nails, and this is my favorite look... I just suck at doing it myself. You answered every question that came to my head, and you explained everything too. Thank you!!!!
This is so amazingly detailed and yet user friendly information. I’m very impressed! If I ever get into gels I’m definitely coming back to rewatch this
Hi Tina, just followed your tutorial on this set today doing short square. I used a baby pink gel polish with two coats then after the steps with the milky white and white I did finish with a thin all over coat of milky white which just smoothed it out a little more the two coats of top coat. The result looks super neat and classy. The good thing is you can use different shades of pink or peach to achieve a different look. They all look great 👍🏻 Last summer I went a step further and did a coat of transfer gel glue and applied shattered glass transfer which just adds a shimmer of shifting pastel. Honestly try it for a twist. I got lots of compliments too! 😉👍🏻Thank you for sharing with such clear steps 🫶🏻🌟❤️💅🏻
I love the one with higher contrast more, just because it looks like it took more blending skill. You made them both look amazing with the same effort, but that’s the secret sauce, right there!!
As a nail tech that saw milions of videos like this one I can say this is the best manicure video I've ever seen. but there is only one thing.. if you feel the heat it the lamp, please take out your hand, wait few seconds and put it again into the lamp. with base and top gels nothing will happen if you cure for few seconds and again for the rest of the time, but with colors you need to keep it in lamp for the whole time. if you keep your hand in lamp when the gel is getting hot you might even burn the nail bed and damage it. be carefull folks :)
This is the most informative video showing how to achieve the baby boomer/ french fade with gel polish and ombré brush. I think it’s a much better technique than the sponge. Also, your explanation with the tutorial is second to none. I’ve watched a few and this is the best I have seen 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Thank you! Just subscribed to your Chanel and now checking out your other videos 😊👍🏼
working on growing my naturals out. they are the best way to get a form on correctly actually. as you follow the natural growth. hi tinaaaaa, always love you.
I just started doing my own gel nails and find it handy to use a nail art brush and acetone to clean up around the cuticle when applying the polish! Especially when I’m applying it with my non-dominant hand 🥴😂
This is sooo much beautiful, I was gonna groom my nails, and see u uploaded this vdo!! ❤️❤️❤️this is gonna be of great help Tina, and ur nails look amazing 😊❤️I am gonna tell everyone I know, to watch ur vdos and to give it a big thumbs up as I always do😊love love❤️❤️
Just a tip when filing, if you use a glass nail file, not only can you go back & forth, you can also clean it with alcohol or antimicrobial soap & it's like brand new again. Also, by using a glass nail file, it seals the free edge.
I've always heard it was because this style of nails was basically all that was worn back then since very colourful and vibrant designs weren't considered proper and ladylike. So it was french and french fades on end.
@@SusanIvanova2257 that’s not true at all. Reds and corals were popular for generations. Ramped up more so in the 80’s. It’s my generation (generation x or xennials depending on birth year) that used this method religiously.
These look stunning Tina!!! If ever I want to diy beauty things at home, I ALWAYS visit your channel first to see if you have a video. I just know that your advice is reliable!!! Like this video!!! Thank you so much 😊😊😊😊😊😊
Hi Tina! I don't know if you've already made a video like this but I would love a video all about your nails; how you keep them long and healthy, maintenance, ect. I'd also really like to know if you could do a video comparing gel, dip powder, and poly gel needles. Especially what is the most damaging, what lasts the longest, ect
Wow this French fade nails look classic and seems easier.... 😍 ** Tina today is the day in which I became a fan of yours a couple years ago...! Still luving u a lots and lots..
I bought the exact same ombré brush and it arrived today. That’s a coincidence I just came across your video. ❤ also the nail polish arrived today. So Sunday or Monday I will do my nails with your tutorial. I hope it will look just as fine as in your video.
I'm not a fan of gel nails on me but the segment on prepping your nails was incredibly helpful for those who prefer a more natural look (or, let's be real, can't be bothered to put in the effort it takes to make such pretty nails like you do)
The French fade is such a timeless classic.
I thought they were acrylics in the thumbnail, I can't believe it's you're real nails. They're simply ✨ immaculate ✨
100% what I thought!😮
Finally some1 who has time 2 explain n show on natual nails, thank u Tina xxxxx
Brilliant idea with a nail builder. Didn’t know this stuff existed. I will definitely will try that to grow and strengthen my natural nails. Thank you ❤

Girl you're sooo talented! I could never lol.

I think the lighter pink is a classic look is more to my liking. Tina, another great video, thanks for all the hard work!

It looks peach to me. I liked the darker contrast version. Beautiful nails!
My favorite is the more contrasted hand. I love this tutorial! I’m going to try this next time ❤️
I love the one with higher contrast more, just because it looks like it took more blending skill. You made them both look amazing with the same effort, but that’s the secret sauce, right there!!
Your left hand with the softer pink is my favorite 💜
Wow this gel is everything! I love this better than an acrylic
Just beautiful !!😍 I love the more peachy color so the right hand.
Thank you so much for all the great tips.💕
These are so beautiful. I prefer the darker pink ones personally but would wear both. So lovely

Oh wow!!! Your nails looks sooo good!! Thx for the video. Ombre brush sure is better than sponge! Loved both looks
Love them both but the deeper pink looks great!
It´s sooo beautyful and natural, i love it
Just a tip when filing, if you use a glass nail file, not only can you go back & forth, you can also clean it with alcohol or antimicrobial soap & it's like brand new again. Also, by using a glass nail file, it seals the free edge.
You shouldn't go back and forth with ANY file as you're creating friction and heat in the nail. Nothing to do with material that it's made of.
They are both cute , but you such an expert I pray I get to that level.
Love your videos Tina! 💕💕
Loved this tutorial and I liked the more constraining layer better. Great job and excellent video. Thank you.
A great video for gel nails with builder in a bottle.
Beautiful. I used Kiara Sky Dip powder to achieve this look on my own nails. I didn't know it was so easy to do with gel too!😀
Is there any cheaper replacement for kiara sky ?
Hi Tina!!! Love ur episodes !! I'm your fan before 1M!!
I was just watching an old nail video for you and waiting for something new to drop and that made my day 🥺 love you Tina 💜
“Baby boomer nails”
Didn’t know nails were named after a whole generation 🤭
Lol I don’t know why but it is
I've always heard it was because this style of nails was basically all that was worn back then since very colourful and vibrant designs weren't considered proper and ladylike. So it was french and french fades on end.
It was French fade, or baby boomer, or ombre, or natural french, they call it before nineteenth forgotten.
@@SusanIvanova2257 that’s not true at all. Reds and corals were popular for generations. Ramped up more so in the 80’s. It’s my generation (generation x or xennials depending on birth year) that used this method religiously.

I could never grow my nails as long as yours. They break when I clean the house!
Put dip powder on your shorter nails and they will grow long
@@thismomlovestosave9447 what is dip powder ?
@@ishikapaul4806 finely milled acrylic powder. Look up some tutorials on dip powder nails.
Probably use less layers to get a sharper look for the shape. Too many layers of gel always looks kinda chunky
Love the left hand!
Why would someone dislike this video?? I don't get it
Hate won't spare anyone. Best we can do is ignore it and release love
It was a baby boomer
