    Honestly, I think we need to address these new wave of so called “producers” who aren’t even beat makers that literally copy and paste a sample, put type beat at the end, and put a price on it. I’m thinking of starting a channel solely based on exposing the clowns that are over saturating the market by promoting and supporting PLAGIARISM. It’s time to weed out the b.s and separate the real from the fake. The amount of nonsense that is being tolerated is getting out of hand.

Not saying that to brag either. Its like dreamlife said, us producers are doing everything right when it comes to seo and making good beats that artists would be willing to buy, but for some reason it’s just not ranking on RUclips no matter what we do. On the other hand there are plenty of producers whose channels are doing extremely well so it makes me think I’m doing something wrong which could definitely be true. It’s frustrating

    I think the algorithm is always changing because when someone has a strategy that works for them, they believe telling others on a major platform (let’s say idk, RUclips for example) will benefit the community when in reality we’re openly telling these gatekeepers the flaws in their infrastructure. Which is why one persons strategy never works for the next person. The one that runs RUclips has very close ties with others that run the music industry which gives them leverage to box us out.
    Let’s talk about it.

  • @RayoBeatz
    @RayoBeatz 8 месяцев назад

    cause people are using other platforms and on top of that youtubes bs ads are playing like crazy no one wants to sit there for 3 mins or 4 waiting to see if the beat is gonna be fire or not they are gonna go to where they can listen to it without ads the faster the better they have creative juices flowing and an ad can break that mood you can get so angry that you can't even think about anything but the ad and just not even wanna listen to beats. also it does not help when producers beats are 15-20 secs long on the intros or wayyyy too complex and not simple enough. what would help drive things a bit faster imo (but will need to be tested to confirm) is we need to start the beats at the chorus and this would only truly work imo if we did this on the youtube shorts where we start the beat in the chours then play a portion of the verse after so people can get hooked and want to hear more then try to find the beat on your channel. or want to click on your beatstars link or whatever to listen to the whole thing and even be more motivated to buy since they will already be on a buying page.

    I own a gas station. I don’t do music. But to me type beats channels were never meant to be the end all be all or the only source for beatmakers/producers. what type beats was made for was the beatmaker/producer to showcase their style,creativity and skill set. Now it’s more about subs and views,but as pain 1 pointed out that doesn’t always account to sale$. Type beat channels were destined to fail,because the market place is over saturated with an over abundance of the same sound and the same video content posted showing all the secrets that were never meant to be exposed. Not only that online producers/beat makers don’t value the science,art,time and creativity that goes behind the making of the music.It’s about a hustle. The oh I made this beat in 15 min mindset. David Banner once said something long ago. U see me making this beat in 15-30 min ,but you didn’t see the process of how it took me 15 yrs to get that snare and kick to match or how i got that snare to hit through the speakers the way it does. See everyone can showcase the talent. But the work that went behind the talent is what’s missing. The kids that are doing beats and selling them for $5 is the prime example of not valuing your craft,your art or your work. When you’ve put the work in. There is no way that you could ever or would ever not value your art.

It’s been all downhill since. There’s no quality control. Sure 2018 for example was a great year for rap but since then.. I mean the og’s are the only ones selling shows and dropping quality outside a select few of the new young cats on the scene. The content itself is diluted and watered down with no real artistry. Sure you got the JID’s the Griseldas (even tho the new gunn album is an awful disappointment) and the Kendrick’s of the world but dude drops and disappears. He aint on it like he was. Now personally I want an artist to take their time and live and give us somethings before they drop but.. but with the amount of music that comes out and how long it lives for and the overall quality and lack of originality.. it speaks volumes man. Everyone is talking about it now too. It’s becoming the general consensus. With fans people in the industry etc etc. Maybe you don’t want to admit it cause you’re apart of it. And don’t think Im attacking you. Im speaking from a general standpoint. You clearly do what you can to contribute to it daily. That’s not a question but it doesn’t mean that everything I’m saying doesn’t have any validity to it. People are awake and have had enough. Type beats aren’t original just copy cat production. Todays beats don’t resonate with the soul, the secret is make each of the elements in the musical composition tell its own story. From the drum tracks to the effects

    Werent you saying months ago that type beats are never going away? Now youre saying what we have all been saying. You just have a channel and a voice so your words are heard over ours. We have been knowing. We have been trying to tell you, but now you are on board?! Ok…smfh

    i have a lot less respect for artists that dont make their own beats. my favorite thing to do is when someone shows me their song is say " i really like the beat" then not say anything else about it. mostly cus we both know thats the only part they didnt make lmao....
