aw yeah, like button SMASHED. What do you think about that dark/reddish spot on the second one that was cut? I thought it was pretty intriguing! The first one was a stunner, but I figured you knew that ;)
I know it was only seconds Taylor but the suspense was electric. Wow so different, beautiful chambers and crystals in one and a light show in the other, brilliant.
OMG! How much fun was that! I love ammonites and seeing the insides are awesome! That druzy one was the epic look that we all expect from a cut ammonite, but the other one, was actually super cool under black light, and even more interesting because it was so different! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Similar but yet so different! Love how excited you got when you nailed the cuts. Pretty cool how the one looks under UV light. Glad you thought to check that out. Thanks for sharing!
For the druzy one, did you cut right along the siphuncle? I was hoping that it would be intact. You may be able to see it on the one that’s been fully filled in. The siphuncle is a tube that runs through each of the chambers and allows the ammonite/nautiloid to control the amount of water filling the chambers, which are ballast tanks like those on a submarine.
Two really precision cuts. Great job for pulling it off. Loved the crystal chambers as well as the florescent one. Keep the fun coming. Be happy, safe and stay healthy 😷⚒
So totally amazing! I've never seen ammonites cut before. I've seen them after they are cut but his was a very cool cutting video. Thanks so much for sharing this Taylor!✌️🤠
Always amazed at the interior aspects of fossil specimens.....not gonna lie, was hoping to see some greens, blues and reds for the sender/owners sake...but still gorgeous pieces....I liked the second one better, but that's just personal preference....would love to see them after polishing.
Those turned out amazing!!! If you hadn't been spot on with you cut the results would have been so different!!! Awesome video as usual!! Thanks for the awesome content!
Wow! The first one - Just Wow!! Absolutely stunning! The 2nd again, stunning but in a totally different way - who knew?! Bless you for not peeking 😂 Thank you, sending love from Yorkshire England UK ❤️ 🇬🇧
It's extremely nerve racking doing it for the first time isn't it bro you done well there both amazing, are you going to be polishing them too for me that's the best bit it brings out all the hidden details
I'm picking in Moose Lake today and man is it cold. Do you have a favorite pit? How deep should I be digging? Surface, subsurface, anywhere...? Thanks for all the content. It really makes this hobby attainable to those of us who only get to agate hunt once or twice a year.
I have only gone to the pits there a few times and haven’t had much luck, I think any would be good and if you’re digging around that would be your best chance. Hope you have good luck, let me know how it goes 🤘🤘
I f-f-froze yesterday, last night, and today. I found a beautiful agate and an odd one. I need to go back once the wind dies down and the temp goes up.
Just found your channel, wtf thats wild. Amazing how different they both are the 1st just beautiful and the 2nd was like oh ok but then seeing it under the uv was unbelievable. Great content. Keep it up.
I think seeing the inside is a needed step in the appreciation of these fossils.....it's just the fullness that is otherwise missing. There's Splendid wonder inside that deserves to be seen..... That's my two cents....the Great and Powerful Oz has spoken!
. .💎. .I got so nervous with the first cut and had to speed past the second cut because I was nervous about your fingers being so close to the blade . .the crystals are crazy, these fossils are so magnificent. .thank you for doing this ✔️ Are the fossils around 350mil years old ?
I have a rock that looks really cool on the outside and after watching some of your videos I really would like to find out what it looks like cut open do you usually have people send stuff to you too but cut
I used to find pyritized ammonites in the gault clay on south coast of uk. These were amazing and still had the mother of pearl preserved on the outside after 70 mill years. Inside, they were hollow chambers filled with pyrite cristals ... made great pendants for girlfriends

Can these items be polished on the inside? Or are they to fragile?
I’m sure they can be but I won’t be polishing them
Wow, what beauty!!
Awesome cuts! What blade were you using?
The 10” thin sintered blade hitechdiamond.com/?aff=22
Awesome, thanks!
That is stunning, everyone I know would love to have that! I'd love a smaller one to put on a necklace!
Cool!😎 Can i send y some ancient mud cracks to cut? I know they have crystals inside but they shatter when I break them with a hammer.
Please do! I’d love to cut them open!
