I just found your channel and you have a great way of showing how Waymo works. Generally, people film themselves riding on Waymo car, but not showing the interesting parts of the trip, maybe because they only use it once. For example, that's the first time i see this car on a night shift. I've been watching Waymo videos for about 2 years ai guess since i found it out and i didn't know it how handle such kind of bad weather, which make it 20x coller. It's for sure out of this world. I really hope people never get tyred to see how amazing it is.
Thanks for visiting! I am doing this all out of personal enthusiasm as a public rider. Do let me know if you have specific things you want to see or questions. Hearing feedback is fun for me. Thanks a lot!
@@mayasf Thanks. One thing i found to be very interesting like other people said was your video where the Waymo car goes a little bit to the curb of the road to avoid the truck. It just keep going and don't seem to register it as a dangerous situation. I hope they could be more aware of it. I think you're are already doing very interesting videos, cause you're showing things i don't see very often about this car. it never cease to amazing me. I can't imagine about you; :)
@@a.thiago3842 One thing you might look for information about is "lateral lane positioning" - this is the name for how a vehicle moves within a lane and adjusts. Sitting in a Waymo, this is nearly constant and so interesting. I don't think the truck crossing the lane markers was actually a danger to us, but it was careless so Waymo reacted. Cool to see, you are right- I love it!
@@mayasf That's very cool. I remember that years ago watching Teslas's achievements were the best things i could ever see, but looks like i was wrong. I know Waymo operate on a much more scale area with compared with Teslas, as it can drive almost everywhere, but maybe not with that security this taxi offers.
I went into the new vehicle and immediately went home from there. Not sure why I wasn't able to get home in the first vehicle... It seemed like some glitch making the car assigned to someone else (though it clearly welcomed me when I got in!). It was annoying but the vehicles handle interruptions well.

So what exactly happened with pulled over car at the end of the video. Why did you have to change the car?
