I'm on Chapter 3 and so far I'm finding it hard to learn the boss moves. Sometimes it's really hard to see what's happening on the screen. I was planning to do all the bosses no hit, but I'm kind of scared of that.
I’m also doing a no self advancement playthrough but to make up for not doing no-hit, I also added on no spells, consumables, spirits, mantles, or transformations (in combat, some quests require you to use spells or transform. Basically, I’m not using anything that isn’t my base toolkit actively in combat). Probably would be harder (no duh but I mean in general as even with my restrictions, outside of a couple dudes it hasn’t been that hard) if I went for no hit but I can’t be bothered. The game is fun but the wuxia style animations just make it a pain in the ass to tell what is going on sometimes. Some fights are so particle heavy that it becomes so fucking hard to see what is going on.
Yeah, I was going to do no spells as well, but found a couple annoying bosses that I didn't want to spend too much time on (I'm lazy). Spells do make it infinitely easier. There are quite a few bosses with moves that are difficult to see, unreasonably quick (or straight up invisible in the case of the bear) that don't do much damage, but make it pretty annoying to no hit.

@@mouseinatutu all the more credit to you for going that extra mile. I don’t blame you for using spells and stuff if you are no-hitting. I would have gone insane if I decided to add no hitting on top of everything I’m already doing. The fucking frogs would have drove me absolutely bonkers.
Fellow frog hater? Based. The lightning one looks AWFUL to fight, I left it for a bit.

@@mouseinatutu dude it’s so ass even outside of no hitting. I can’t imagine dealing with their little lightning shit pellets if even getting touched once means reset. I’m out here praying for you.

@@mouseinatutuI just finished the game and all I’m gonna say is I’m praying for you dude.
The water effects in the whiteclad noble fight are cool. Distracting, but cool.
Splash splash. The leaves in Black Wind King too

This is cool, I would watch more esp chapter 2 and 3
Dragon Ball Z: Tutu Saga
I still do not get the tell with the Red Loong's lightning explosion. It always seems random to me even if I am watching a footage.
It backs up and white particles fill the air around it.
Haven't finished it yet, very cool game, no upgrades run can be fun to try
Don't know how much the self-advancement matters, but if you were to do no weapon or armour upgrades it'd probably get very hard
@@mouseinatutu ngl no weapon upgrades sounds absolutely awful
Hey did you ever try Lies of P? I feel like that's a game you'd have a good time with
I didn't! Maybe some day I'll get back to it, only heard good things
I was going to get this game but I really didn't care for how the combat looked in the boss fights plus there's no physical release.
It's pretty button-mashy
