An Introduction to Title Fight

- Title Fight has been ripping it heavy since all the way back in the mid 2000's, and have captured my punk heart in the process. Today, I give what I hope to be a pleasant introduction into what I believe to be one of the most talented bands in the punk, hardcore, and shoegaze scene.

Im such a big fan of this band and ive only known about them for about a year. There is just something about them that keeps me hooked binging any content i can find from them. Title fight forever

Fun fact, Jaime does not sing on the recorded version of “Safe in Your Skin”. It is the album producer and bass player of Youth of Today, Walter Schreifels. You can see this in the VHS documentary covering the making of Shed.

title fight is my all time favorite band, ive listened to punk all of my life but ive never been so compelled to listen to any band other than title fight. these guys are pure genius and i cant believe that the sound of their tape shed hasnt been replicated yet.

I'm getting old. I grew up going to hardcore shows and playing in bands around the time Title Fight were starting to tour. They started in the hardcore scene so I got to see them multiple times back in those days. I was and still am a huge fan of Ned and Ben's older brother's band Cold World. The last thing you forget and shed are seminal albums for me and all of my friends. Hearing them now brings back such good memories. So imagine my surprise to find out that they are still around. Not only that but have a huge following with the younger generation. Makes me happy as hell to know that music that had such an impact on me and my friends is now doing the same for y'all on a much larger scale.
Had a kid intern under me at my job about a year ago. He comes in one day a few weeks into his internship wearing a TF shirt and I just about lost it. Kid 100% got a glowing recommendation after that.

ive always loved shed the most but its interesting seeing others view points on stuff, ill definitely need to check out floral green again
I enjoy a lot of the stuff on it i just feel like it kinda get repetitive at times. Again, not a bid thing necessarily, but I love Floral Green and Hyperview so much because they switch it up more.

These guys rule, I got into them back in 2018 thanks to a mexican band called No Somos Marineros.
My friend from school got me into them, she showed me Head in the Ceiling Fan and said “this felt like some David type shit”

I really love title fight, but whenever i show them to people my age they kind of just give me a dirty look. (Im14) i rlly wish people could just sit down and kinda listen to real music
