Bleakhouse is definitely on my Dickens short list. Esther seems to be one of his more complete female characters. The Bartimaeus trilogy sounds really cool!..This is a neat series, and the first of it's kind on Booktube!

+Kate Howe Cheers :) Bleak House is truly wonderful. Esther is a little angelic perhaps, but she's a very interesting character. And the Bartimaeus Trilogy is super fun :)

+Books and Things haha, she's definitely on the Elsie Dinsmore (do you know this reference?) side but now I'm trying to think about any truly well rounded female Dickens characters and can't really think of any from the 4 Dickens I've read...So excited for Dickens weeks so you can tell me! :)

Nope, I don't know Elsie Dinsmore?
There are some interesting female Dickens characters, there are! Mostly from his later books, but I shall be talking about them soon. I've already started filming the Dickens fortnight videos in preparation for February :)

Hoorah for Dickens! (Even if he has the odd questionable female character...)
