Luigi Rodolfo Boccherini (February 19, 1743 May 28, 1805) was an Italian classical era composer and cellist whose music retained a courtly and galante style while he matured somewhat apart from the major European musical centers. Boccherini is most widely known for one particular minuet from his String Quintet in E, Op. 11, No. 5 (G 275), and the Cello Concerto in B flat major (G 482). This last work was long known in the heavily altered version by German cellist and prolific arranger Friedrich Grützmacher, but has recently been restored to its original version. His music was clearly influenced by the Spanish and Mediterranean style in that he composed several quintets for guitar.

Pues si, es verdad, pero fíjate ,la cultura musical que fue exportada a América con los españoles, volvió a Europa enriquecida y también influyó en toda la musica posterior a 1500...incluso en el flamenco español.....y en Boccherini! Fusión maravillosa de todo lo más hermoso del ser humano!
Es música española, no es italiana. Boccherini nació en Italia pero vivió la mayor parte de su vida en España, y esta es música popular española.

Il suo lavoro consisteva nel dare lezioni private a una regina, perché non gli è stato offerto altro. Inoltre c'è differenza tra il fandango che si balla nelle bettole e questo brano di squisita fattura italiana. Come mai non è stato scritto da un compositore spagnolo? Provateci!
@@ritanicosia El solo se adopto como madrileño. Cosa bastante fácil, puesto que siendo italiano el paso es pequeño. A lo que me refería es que esta pieza es de tradición netamente española, no a ninguna otra cosa.

Un'opera di adattamento che ritengo ben riuscita. Mi sento di spendere una parola per l'ottimo corpo di ballo (che presumo sia del teatro alla Scala). Anche quello italiano

A lovely performance, but the music is aggressively 20th Century in style. It could be Stokowski. How about a bit of period colour in the music as well as the dance and costumes?

@nni9310 They almost all are from different productions of Swan Lake. I recognize NY City Ballet and the Kirov Ballet. The only dance that might not be Swan Lake is the very first couple, dancing in front of a banquet table. They seem to be Spanish, dancing in the style known as Escuela Bolera.
Non capisco che cosa ci farebbe Roberto Bolle nel NYC ballet o al Mariiski. Per me si tratta piuttosto di una produzione del teatro alla Scala
