National Eucharistic Congress Begins With Throngs of Cheering Faithful

- The National Eucharistic Congress is officially underway, kicking off the five-day celebration of Christ’s presence in the Eucharist in an immense ceremony on July 17 at Lucas Oil Stadium.
The first night of the revival, a highly-anticipated event meant to reinforce and remind Catholics of the importance and meaning of the Eucharist, brought tens of thousands of people together for the once-in-a-lifetime national celebration.
For three hours, Catholics from across the country listened to musical performances and talks by the event’s organizers and witnessed a symbolic ceremony of the four pilgrimage routes merging at the altar, illuminated by more than 100 spotlights and carrying a monstrance made just for this event.
I want to thank God for live streaming the Eucharistic Congress for the people who couldn’t get to Indiana. It has been so beautiful and peaceful and healing. Thank You EWTN and Mother Angelica we miss you and thank god for you getting our Jesus on TV.

thankful for avg and slightly below avg temperatures started after the Eucharistic Congress in Winston Salem NC. Always impressed by the story of rogation days, read on Wikipedia, how after Rome fell and places ended sacrificing red puppies to forestall red fungus or rust on crops, wolves attacked people in Vienne France. Only after replacing the roman festival with a Godly Eucharistic Procession around town boundaries did wild animal attacks stop. You have to make sure you are not doing extra burdens on land for your life, nothing stolen as bad sacrifices create misery that only Our Lord can appease through His Death on the Cross. Amen.

Asking that God Protect the Holy Eucharist from any agenda to assimilate non-Catholics as a free-for-all. The music is not befitting of Christ - more like a Hillsong gathering. But I understand many people don't like Tradition in the Church and want more entertainment. Just saying - I hope good fruit will come from this in Truth.The Holy Eucharist should be focusing on Christ's Passion, not a 'communal meal'. Reception of the Holy Eucharist also needs a truly contrite heart who has been regularly to the Sacrament of Confession. Not sure out of all these attending, that this Truth has been adhered to.
I am curious how you monitor and make appropriate judgments regarding parishioners you attend weekly Mass with?
@@larrys4383 I'm not understanding your statement/question exactly, but I make these observations from the perspective of a Traditional Latin Mass attendee. I'm not here to cause argument........I prefer the 40 year Eucharistic Procession of Notre Dame de Chretiente Pentecost Pilgrimage from Parish to Chartres.If more Adoration of the Eucharist was done like this, everyone would come to Jesus in humility in Truth. I just pray Jesus in the Holy Eucharist will be given His Due Respect in Truth as He Taught us as the Head of His Church on earth
@louisecampbell7940 I also attend the TLM as well & I enjoyed the Reverence during the Malabar Rite Mass. When they Brought Out The Lord during Adoration One Can Feel the Energy so Intense. So so Powerful! I felt him All over my Body! The Love, The Prayers, The People were all so Focused on him. Going by what I witnessed I do believe that it will help us all with our Faith. I feel so Blessed to have attended & So Fortune to be Catholic. The Church Founded by My Lord & Savior. Blessed be God in the Holy Eucharist ❤❤❤

And how do you feel about God who is a mass murderer? (I'm referring to the nearly entire population of the earth (est. 4 billion) by Noah's flood - as well as killing the populations of Sodom & Gomorrah, The firstborn Egyptians, the massacre of women and children at Jericho and the Egyptian chariot army).
And here are a few other things --
Scientists have found evidence Sodom and Gomorra were destroyed by an earthquake or flood. There is no such species as a talking snake. The miracles attributed to Jesus can be duplicated by magicians on You Tube (search magicians flying, and levitation, walking on water, and turning water into wine). There is no evidence to prove dragons ever existed (Revelation). Two times (Gen 2 & 3) God threatens Adam that if Adam & Eve eat the fruit they will die. They didn't die. God lied. Whales, in general, are not capable of swallowing a human being. Blue whales and other baleen whales like it have a small esophagus that span only a few centimeters. A sperm whale could swallow you whole, but you'd pretty soon get digested in its four-chambered stomach, or suffocate from the lack of oxygen
