    I would be happy if we had spa every week, love it. Little tip I learned this week too, if i pause and unpause on the 3,,2,1 start countdown I haven't had a wheel disconnect yet..

    The Daily Race C at the end of March/beginning of April was perfect. 24 hr layout, 40 laps and variable weather🎉 If only they would add a race D, E and F🤞

    They have fixed it before during a daily race, though it may have been at the very end of GT Sport. They also have fixed it before in GTWS where they made everyone start behind the chicane. And the easiest fix would be just using the 24hr layout which puts the rolling start after turn 1.

    We had a Nations Cup race in the X2019s where the rolling start began before the Bus Stop in the x2019s.

    They should use the 24h layout or have a grid start

    I love Spa, but agree on that rolling start. As for why we see some tracks more its to so with live events, in this case F1 at Spa this weekend.
    This year:
    - Daytona on 24h of daytona
    - Bathurst on 12 hours of Bathurst
    - Susuka on F1 susuka
    - Interlagos GR1 on 6 hours of interlagos with prototypes
    I watch a lot of leagues and GT7 usually takes some. Im not 100% sure but I think they did Brand's Hatch, Watkins, and Laguna Seca in line with GT events.

    I think I know why they chose the same combinations for this week: for the physics change. to test both Gr.4 and Gr.3 after the fact.
    as for the rolling starts, they’ve never learned

    There's something strange with the spa gr.3 combination this week. I know it's always a hard tyre race but the cares just seems to understeer soooo much more than they have done in the past or is it just me? I've tried multiple cars. Especially in the race, the cars just understeer greatly into corners. And yes I've tried putting the break balance to the rear. I think it's maybe something to do with the weather? I'm not sure. Feels strange.

      I felt it too, think it's cloudy so track is a bit cold. However the leaderboards are still way high so it could be nothing.

    • @milan1399
      @milan1399 Месяц назад

      Yh I agree mate the last time round we had the sprint race here I did a 2.16’5 qually lap and was ripping up pretty much every race I can barely manage a 19’1 this time round. Can’t see how I’ve all of a sudden become 2.5 seconds slower lol and Yh the cars definitely feel very under steery now.
      Think you might have a point on the weather tho as I remember when we had the 10 laps at monza a little while back and it was sunny then the following week they changed it to a sprint race where it was quite cloudy and I remember being significantly slower.

    PD just put this race on because Formula 1 is at Spa this week. I doubt there's any other thought put into it, at all.

  • @DavidSMW
    @DavidSMW Месяц назад

    It's small flaws that can be fixed, such as the ridiculous rolling fart, which suggest at least to me, that PD don't care too much about their customers. The 20 lap race as Spa was probably my favourite daily over the last 2 or so years thanks to the addition of dynamic weather, 20 laps made it feel like a real race, nothing since has come close. Would be awesome to see 40-50 minute races with dynamic weather and day/night.
    Personally prefer grid with false start over rolling starts too, more potential for carnage but much more exciting and would provide drivers at the back of the field a chance of running further up the pack and perhaps securing a Dr raising position.

    I wish they would do random races where you choose your car and you don't know what track your racing on, they could leave it like that and every week just change amount of laps, fuel, tyres and if its group 3 or 4 etc, no qualifying and a random grid, no that would be cool racing

    The positioning of the rolling start at Spa (and Suzuka) are effectively ruining the race for the second half of the field! You spend half the race catching up to the front runners. They need to seriously reduce the spacing of the cars on rolling grid starts

      Yeah istg the game has some fetish for hard tires, it’s so frustrating having to always understeer like crazy and have no grip to the point whenever you do get to use soft tires you turn in too early all the time because you’re used to just never having grip and understeering. Hate that shit

    I had bad races here, dirty races because there was always a player behind or in my side doing dirty and stupid things so I lost my temper and also 3 server problems, my high DR A at 80% level was destroyed but...I won 3x with Mazda RX because I'm used to drive that car at Spa but my TT time was with Renault and my license is at 62% level DR A.
    Now I'll know how is racing in that 62% level in GT1 league in America, racing in 80% level was tough with bad qualy laps starting near to last but I had my best two results, 8th at Interlagos and 6th at Tokyo using Mazda RX, also the new physics are coming 👀👀👀

    All completely valid points......but you got to remember dude is the game is gaining new players all the time so my guess is PD have kept it the way it is for new players. Sux but you can imagine lower lobbys just destroying themselves on turn one and the only way to mitigate it is to spread them out. Hard tyres need to go though. As benbo said it's a sprint race so should be on softs.
