Ah! What a moment, watching you sketch this in a bamboo! Fantastic! It let us watch the transfer method too! I think this piece is a complete success, and I love that you have links to all the materials so any artist can go directly to grab them, and try the materials, themselves!
Right now I was completed watching your one video and suddenly notification come u uploaded a video I can’t stop myself to click on the notification. Watching your video is the best thing of my day.
Just Love love your Art. I am learning & starting my own style & am excited in studying & learning techniques from your video's. A million thank you for sharing your passion. Xoxo
I really enjoyed this video, and your end result is amazing!! Your digital sketching process was interesting to watch as well. I think the challenges you had with the hand would probably have been easier if you had moved it to its own layer, but no one can argue with how the finished product turned out!! :)
Beautiful art and so many good tips! By the way I have tried the white luminance pencil to smooth the color transition/paper texture, but I find that I like the Derwent Drawing in Chinese White even better for this technique. I just thought I would mention it so you could try it out if you wanted to, even though your transitions are already really smooth and you really dont seem to be lacking anything
it's late but it's just practice! i started off with washes and gradient backgrounds for quotes i used to do and i found that really useful for getting to know the qualities of the paint, and now im learning to do watercolour portraits. it's really fun, even if it doesn't turn out how you wanted cos it still looks kinda cool.
Unfortunately I usually watch these videos after dinner, so I am already sleepy, and then I have no will to grab my watercolours... *also, amazing colour schemes!
New to digital art. I'm still at the "oh my God you have no talent and should probably kill yourself" stage (maybe your head says kinder things, but that is about as kind as my head gets). But on my set up you can draw as large as you want for detail and then shrink it down to the size you need. HA! I'm teaching! Take that brain!

How did you draw your artwork on the computer? Were you using a digital drawing pad? If so what kind do you use??
