Thanks for the informative video. This is really an excellent EV. For me this car in the M Sport trim (not Pro) is just 2.000 Euro more expensive than the VW ID4 in a similar spec. I think this is so much better than the ID4 for similar amount of money. Can't wait for my iX3 delivery in a couple of months!

I have an iX3. The car is very heavy compared to a normal X3 so it is reasonably soft in comfort mode - I find it hits a great balance. Definitely not too hard
I also find it comfortably enough on a bumpy road in comfort mode. Only on the worst parts of the bumpy road, you are shaken up a bit, but nothing to complain about.
Is there any info on the current battery health anywhere in the car infotainment system? I mean something like the standard info on battery degradation in MacBook Pro and other laptops, i.e. how much of the original capacity is still available. The BMW guarantee covers 8 years (as far as I remember), so what is the expected capacity/range after such a long period? 10%? 50%? One would expect that a battery replacement would be possible after these 8-10 years and that it would not cost 50% of the initial value of a new car.. I would greatly appreciate it if you would share your thoughts on these matters.
No, I didn't see any info about battery health. I also didn't see this in other EV's, it's not common to do this in cars at this time. I think that there are apps that can read out data from your car with a dongle, but I don't use it. I don't find any info on the site of BMW about the guarantee on the battery. VW on the other hand gives more info about this topic and they give a guarantee of minimum 70% of the original capacity after 8 years or 160.000 km. I guess they would replace the battery if it is below that %, or fix it. This I'm not sure. I don't know if this is the same guarantee with BMW, I would check it at the dealer if you are considering buying this car. Anyway it's normal that the battery degrades after time, just look at your cell phone. So having a guarantee of 70% or something like that is a positive. You can also keep your battery in better condition when you don't fast charge all the time, because this degrades the battery more than AC charging. In many cases the car manufacturers also advise to only charge it to 80% (not 100%). If you follow all these guidelines I guess your battery last longer or worst case you can get it replaced or they would fix it under guarantee.
If you are able to charge @home slowly (5-7 kw) and your daily comute is shorter than 25% of the car range (~100km) then you could operate the car between 50-75% of the state of charge. This way battery degradation will be minimum, the battery will easily last 3000 cycles - which translates to 1.2M Km. The rest of the car will not last as long. Battery waranty is designed even for people that exclusively supercharge, and constatly run the battery below 10% - or to 100%. - even for them the battery should last 160.000km.

Hi Johan, how does it compare in your opinion to the Audi Q4 40 or 45? With similar costing configurations for me the iX3 is better, especially in the driver assistance tech, however it's quite a bit bigger than the Q4 and with not so different internal space.
