Hello, Great videos. I installed the S-mate and mini R3 the distance between them is nearly 5 meters but the S-mate is not giving the order to turn on,once I remove the S-mate from the electric box it works good and when I put it back it stops working.please need your advice is there a way to improve the S-mate connection. thanks

Is the electric box metal, maybe it's blocking the signals?

These devices are really great, can make any old device work like a IoT ! and now the size is also reduced.
At first, I didn't understood what is S-mate for, but after a demo, I got it and it's pretty cool, but I can't find any use case scenario for it 😅😅

Can we use smate to trigger basic r2 via scene on ewelink? The point is to trigger it remotely with basic r2 instead of using minir3.

I cannot connect an S-Mate to a sonoff R3 Lite? I wanted to controll both channels with the S-mate.. Can you explain what Im doing wrong?

I think these switches have a 10 amp limit. It cannot be connected to high power equipment.

Do you think this supports hearing impaired notification that a doorbell camera rings? We have in the USA 20 million hearing impaired and deaf Do you have ideas that help blinking light doorbells this Sonoff that can scene or group lights lamp or wall switch smart switch?

You can't try setting up scenes where compatible devices can trigger turning a light on or off. This could be via Amazon Routines or using the e-welink app.

It works via mobile data, the R3 needs to be connected to Wi-Fi, but the phone doesn't. You will need active internet for both devices though.

does the s-mate work with a momentary push switch? does it have a toggle option for the same??? or is it compatible only to rocker switches??

If you turn off the smart device using any other method (voice,app) the s-mate toggles in reverse (on becomes off and off becomes on). It may work with momentary switches, but I've not tried it.

Toggle the "DIP switch" to the another side,then it will work with a momentray push switch

As far as I can see it doesn't have any power inputs, but will check with sonoff to make sure.

You can only link one s-mate to one mini-r3.

Just to turn them on or off, but not control them. These are controlled by the ewelink app.
