- This footage reportedly shows Ukrainian troops from the 3rd Battalion of the Independent Presidential Regiment defending their positions in the Donetsk Oblast region.
The troops can be seen firing guns and throwing explosives at Russian forces to defend their trenches.
The headcam footage recorded on a GoPro shows the perspective of one Ukrainian troop and he fires at the Russian troops. This conflict was reportedly recorded near the Donetsk Oblast region.
This footage has not been verified by The Sun.

To lift your head and body up from a trench, knowing the enemy is very close and shooting at your position is something few could ever do. Many, would curl up in a ball, and cry. These warriors are professional and brave!
If I had to sit in the same spot and pop up each time in the same spot. I’d cry too. That’s just asking to get domed.
But, they do the blind fire technique a lot. It’s where you raise the AK above your head and shoot as many rounds at the sky and dirt as you can…😂

@@purnamapurnama828 Hollywood has done a disservice to military & police regarding combat scenarios. These troops are shooting to where they can best assess the fire is coming from. They are laying down a wall of lead in the hopes of suppressing their enemy from taking accurate shots at them. Sometimes it takes thousands of rounds or more to have a hit in this type of environment. A great read, if you are interested in learning more from a professional: On Killing by Lt. Col. I too saw this, and I wish the armchair fantasist would stop comparing life and death situations to computer games, these hero's I believe were surrounded on 3 sides and thought their time was up. I'll paraphrase a part of the speech spoken to camera "Cherish every second of your life, live every moment to the full," it was unclear whether they made it out,.

Bloody well trained experienced troops. Never remaining in one place for very long, not firing in sequence from the same point. Great trench system. Spot on for reinforcing the rate of fire and for limiting the risk from counter fire or a mortar round. I recall being on holiday on a beach in France when the locals shook their heads in dismay as our two kids dug trenches in the sand and were crawling at speed between imaginary fire positions. Might come in useful some day I thought.
