I flew from the U.S. to Toronto specifically to see Maiden back in 2005 because I'd seen only them on Ozzfest with a short set, and I simply HAD to see the full "Early Days" show.
Well, it was worth it. The Toronto crowd blew away most U.S. crowds, and it was at the Molson Amphitheater right on the water. Great night and great show.

In 2003, Nicko McBrain stated in his tour diary that Montréal and Québec City were amongst the top 5 gigs of all time. The next gig in Toronto, the enthusiasm and the magic that lifted the band during the Québec gigs was lost.

Thank you for sharing the interview mate. I never came across this one before, so it's always good to see something new!

I was at that show too. Toronto obviously blew away the Ozzfest crowds who were mostly there for Sabbath. But Québec City blew them all. Rod Smallwood later mentioned in Classic Rock magazine that Québec City 2005 was the loudest audience he ever heard.

Great post! I have it on VHS and was planning to upload it, but you beat me to it. Does anyone know where to find the video for Wasted Years *without* the colour photos of Eddie? I recall that this was played after this interview.

I think the date is March 23rd 1987, but I'm not sure.

Is that from the same place where Bruce stripped down to his underwear? 🤣

Brad Giffen, you are a bad man. How dare you say to the interviewee, ...you were deliered. He is a human being. How could you say he was delivered? This is an insult to the interviewee.

I think you maybe took him too literally.
