Notice: I did not create the beautiful piece of work. I am not that musically talented so I cannot make more music like this! Find out who "Second Chance" is and bug him/her about it! Thanks :D
10-13 years later and this version of the song still gives me goosebumps. Brings me back to when I first listened to this song
Same, just saw my own comment from 15 years ago above yours hahaha
Same. I remember listening to this like a decade ago and it is still so good.
This is amazing.
Amazing, keep up the good work. ALso, Stone Tower is one of my favoite Zelda dungeons and tunes!
Wow, impressive. At first I thought the strenght for the stone temple was missing its spirit but it shined its way through the rest of the song. 5/5
Breathtaking! I am in love with this.
Great music to one of the best dungeons in LoZ
I love the piano. It's so beautiful!
That is pretty good i like it and it sounds pretty trippy.
il y a quelque chose de magique dans cette chanson ...
There's something magic in da song

Is anyone getting a Child of Light vibe with this remix?
cool! MM & OOT have sweet music & the most adorable characters. Well... maybe WW had adorable characters to but..
wow...this is...AMAZING!
nice mixture of instruments. the song sounded more like a journey later on like as if link as trying to escape a dungeon.
I am so favoriting this :-)
Its so kawaii! (super cute) i totally love the legend of Zelda.. its such a good game! and i love this song it relaxes me when im in a bad mood and it helps me.. i love this song and i love Zelda its sucha good game im soo obessesed with it.. lol
This is the fucking shit. So fucking cool.
Along with the emulator, you can also buy it on your Wii through the Virtual store.
worth it yes, (i think because your playing a awesome game on a awesome system) but its easier buying it from the wii shop, it is the same game, just a different controller, and i think a little more user friendly
This is DOPE.
I'd love to see some guitar tabs for this remix, if you've transposed any!
Cool. ^^
@TrulySilentLie yep :P
Right?! Hahaha
That was a good comment.
Someone find the sheet music! The link doesn't work after all this time.
@MrGC9 How can you good conscience as a zelda fan vote against OoT? Sickening lol
Dear God, I remember listening to this song when it was first uploaded. Where the hell does the time go?
*plays Song of Time furiously to no avail*
Time flies
remember when i was running around in Termina by spin and spin and spin and spin again as a Mojo , i had .. 11-12 y-o ? it was 15 years ago
And since that days, no other game has left me the same feeling than majora's Mask
I can say the same for wind waker
There is special things about this two games, i love Tloz for that cause it lets you a specials memories you will never forget about
@@Nicolas-hf2eq True...I played this masterpiece when I was 9, 20 years ago :')
Play the Hymne of time to be reborn ❤️
This song has to be the best Stone Tower Temple remix I've heard.
The beginning had that dark feel to it, like an ancient tower it once was.
The rest of the song was unbelievable, it was awesome.
"Nothing Set it Stone" is right.
Agreed!! This is my #1 that I always come back to when I want an eerie nostalgic song to daydream to
This remains the most creepy and fascinating Stone Tower Temple remix I've known.
This has existed for 9 years holy fuck what have I been missing out on
9 years and I still come back to listen. It's amazing.
John Stewart your right. XD
15 years too late for me lol
17 years 🤯
Just found it after looking for Stone Tower sheet music. I wish this guy's old website was still up so I could check out his other songs/remixes.
Definately the best zelda game
They are each special on their own way, especially n64 versions.. oot/mm, but yea, mm was pretty fucking interesting.
Same here
favourite game ever overall
OoT had very little replayability to a casual, but MM lets you Turn back the clock and it's possible without glitches to tackle temples out of order (I don't know if you can do that in OoT) you can re-do sidequests in case you messed up and you can re-fight bosses.
SSDARKPIT You can do dungeons in OoT out of order once you have the Master Sword.
16 yrs ago wtf
This song is pure brilliance. It fits MM perfectly; the song feels so empty and sad, yet simultaneously familiar and beautiful.
13 years ago?! Wow I listened to this so long ago I can’t believe I found it again all these years later.
Man.... this remix really reminds me how much the Hero of Time really endured. Really hit home.
This is beautiful
When I first heard that song I automatically started to sing. A completely random melody, but it sounded kind of beautiful, it was like a ghost told me what to sing.
Amazing. Really. I've got no words left.
This song is almost 8 years old and I still love it.
and the game came out almost 15 years ago :3 still one of the greatest zelda tracks ever ~
"and this game came out almost 15 years ago : still one of the greatest Zelda game ever"
16 now
Link Ilvien Defeating Twinmold with only arrows is very impressive. Did you have to be a giant while doing so, because I am sure that it is very hard to Z- or L-target the snakes as Link's normal size. I also once purchased the Chauteau Romani for 200 Rupees from the Milk Bar as opposed to receiving it from Madame Aroma in her quest. I drank the Chauteau Romani to have unlimited Magic Power when I set out to confront the Skull Kid in the Clock Tower and venture inside the moon to complete the four dungeons and ultimately fight Majora in all its forms.
MAJORAS MASK HD REMAKE CONFIRMED!!!
Majora's Mask 3D confirmed!
The first idea looked better.
Majora's Mask confirmed!
True
Sadly Majora's Mask HD has been deconfirmed. However Majora's Mask 3D hasn't!
play this at my funeral! I love it!
16 years ago??? Jesus Christ……I WAS 7 FUCKIN YEARS OLD HOLY SHIT
Such beautiful music it gives the feeling of being helpless and everyone is going to die in 3 days, but you remember you have the power to stop it and you can save everyone from certain death and that you have hope!(1st twin)
Love what you did after 4:05, my thought was, now it cant be much better, probably just repeats what it was before, but damn!! the melody you did there when you slowed it down.
Awesome work man!
This temple always gave me the chills. Not only because it was the last one before you faced Majora, but also because of how you have to change it upside-down and right side up just to finish it. Especially with only 3 days..seemed impossible at first..but one of the funnest dungeons ever created for a video game in general. Legend of Zelda..forever. =)
1: did you make this (its amazing) 2: if yes, what did you use to make it (software-wise)
Sorry rabbidluigi but you got IGNORED!! HAHAHAHAHAH
@rabbidluigi the name is "nothing set in stone" By "second chance"
everyone talks about remakes. and nintendo always releases remakes but i really would more enjoy a continued story. where the hero of time finally finds Navi or something. but Nintendo is letting link ( the hero of time) just behind with a crappy ending.
+Nintendonator Finding NAVI?? Ewwwww........ Noooooo pleeeaassee....
+Nintendonator Well, we do get those, they are other Zelda games. Each game takes place roughly every 100 years, as the cycle is every 100 years. When there is a gap, such as between MM and TP, that is simply a missing game waiting to be made. We may never have that game, but the game's plot must still happen, as it falls between two other games in the timeline. All we can do is wait for the next Zelda game, deduce where it lies in the timeline, then re-evaluate the story. For example, its HEAVILY implied Zelda U takes place after Skyward, but before Minish cap.... when you play Minish cap, you notice its not a direct sequel... thats where zelda U will fall to bridge that gap.
As for the Hero of time, after MM there is a blank spot, up until the next 100 cycle where the hero of twilight appears. We know MM link is blood related to TP link, so, either in the future we will have that game to bridge the gap... or more likely, we wont, as we dont need it. We know enough to know that Link has a child, and we can guess Ganon wont show his face at that time, so, there isnt much point to ending those ties like does link find navi, as it would make for a shallow game. Without those tied ends, it makes MM bittersweet. Link is victorious... but he never found navi.
+goldber516 Well, this isn't really confirmed, it's just a theory, but the most acceptable out of all the ridiculous one's out there, and the one I accept xD
SPOILER AND FAN THEORY AHEAD according to fan theories Navi vanished because every fairy u use for healing and stuff vanishes. im guessing so that fairies vanish once they complete their goal. those fairies goals was to heal Link and once they did that they vanish. Navis goal was to aid Link as asked by the Great Deku Tree. you see in the final oot cutscene Link places the Master Sword in the pedestal and Navi flying away. ;(
What about the fairies that the other people Kokiri kids have? Those don't vanish to anyone's knowledge. I don't think.
I think it wielded the theme quite well, it grasped the sorrow of the fallen kingdom, the upbeat part was the memory of what used to be and the subtle return to sorrow almost symbolizes the true sorrow felt by the dead in that canyon. If you stop to think about it Ikana is more sad then creepy. This song seems to do the feeling more justice the old feeling of the temple theme, that didn't really symbolize the theme carried out in the gloom of the dead soldiers and king, or the garo's decline.
(continued) The fight with Twinmold was straightforward and easy enough given that all you had to do was attack the head and tails of the two snakes. I suppose the only challenge was getting the job done quick as wearing the Giant's Mask required Magic Power, which was why I always made sure to keep one or two extra bottles of Magic Potion handy in case I ran out.
Oh, what does this switch?
-*TING*-
˙˙˙˙˙˙ʇɐǝɹƃ 'ʎɐʞo˙˙˙
I know that the Giant and Fierce Deity masks have the power to transform Link, too. I suppose I should have mentioned them. You receive the Fierce Deity's Mask after you complete all four optional dungeons inside the moon, but you have to have all 24 masks to give to the children in order to obtain it. The Stone Tower Temple was a very difficult dungeon to complete, and I personally see the easy fight with Twinmold as a reward for it.
Vor 11 jahren hochgelanden ? WOW /// 11 years ago ? Nice
This is simply beautiful...................
A perfect example as to why the next Zelda game needs to feature orchestration. And more specifically, needs to feature THIS PIECE.
My god it features everything needed to set up a perfect atmosphere. Its haunting, sad and gives the sense of hopelessness that Link would no doubt feel in his position.
This is a compliment, it sounds like a requiem. It's so soothing yet it sounds like it has a secret purupose
What? It's been 10 years? Wow... This to this very day, still remains the best remix of Stone Tower imo
mine too..
my favorite series,
my favorite game from my favorite series,
my favorite song from my favorite game from my favorite series,
my favorite remix of my favorite song from my favorite game from my favorite series...
/watch?v=qwBK3HygYMA
@Dethenger Points for originality, but I still hate these kinds of comments.
So apparently there were Zelda remixes on yt back in 2007? I was 6 years old then wow.
to date, I cannot find Second Chance anywhere, but supposedly they made another song called "Straight Through the Green Greens"
This was one of my favorite songs in MM, and considering I'm a musician and I love songs, that means A LOT. The song really captures the forlornness of the poor Ikanan soldiers banished there... and this remix is simply beautiful. Instant fav, there.
Personally, I thought this was one of the best ones. I thought it was so unique yet still maintained the Zelda vibe to it. I personally think it deserves the recognition that OOT gets.
When it kicks up its as if you can hear the entire world crying out its pain and suffering. That its dying and yet nobody hears it. Nobody can answer its pain or hear its cries. Then it slows down as if the world now has died. And then the silence. Thats what I feel when I listen to this piece of art. That same hollow feeling the world seems too get.
WAIT! just thought of something!...goes to game...that is bull! when you hit the switch to turn the place over, and then use the song of soring, other places are NOT upside down! dang it!
It was also the most difficult, but it was definitely amazing all the same, especially given that you had to play as all forms of Link including his normal self and a Deku, Goron and Zora.
When put into perspective this is great. Just look at the circumstances you are in stone tower. The moon is about to fall, you have one last temple to defeat and is there is a strange calmness and there too is a rush like you only have 6 game hours left until you loose. I don't know its just a great song made better.
Could you imagine if they remade Majora's Mask and they used this for the Stone Tower Temple? I'd buy the game just for this reason. Well... I'd buy and play a remake of Majora's Mask with the superior graphics of today's tech anyway. Majora's Mask is amazing.
"I'm gonna puke. Everything is upside down and i have lengendary vertigo" was my reaction to this temple.
great orchestration
Majora's Mask is so underrated! The game is supposed to be difficult; it picks up right after OoT. And the 3-Day cycle is easy to go by so long as you know what to do and when (Like the Inverted Song of Time). And its music...
Well, this remix does all the talking on that part. Amazing remix.
I love the notes they added to the song.
It was a little dream for me to Play this Song like this, but no Chance :D
I have a question, i am a German RUclips and I search for good Songs for my Playlist. Van I use this Song in my Let's Plays? This Song is so grate!
Sincerely,
Kavaeron
I would not hesitate to label the stone tower as the greatest temple in zelda history.

It's like the melody builds with hope until there is nothing left
best remix on you tube

i love Zelda MM logo with vintage color
it gives some dark feeling
This beautiful song breaks me away from reality...
I am completely in love with this music so bad!!
yes, i love this band too :-)
This cover has inspired me to learn on keyboard it's so great can't get over it: )
Beautiful instrumental.
How has this been around since I was in bloody high school and I haven't known about it?
i remember listening to it in highschool. Are you ~23 now?
I remember playing this my freshman year of college, about 10 years ago. Still easily one of the top 10 games of all time. This theme is made of awesome. Unfortunately, it gives me a sad memory, because one of my cats died before I could complete this temple.
I highly doubt it's an official remix. More people would know about this version if it were official
very creepy and a bit horror and very very cool
Link is 11 and 17 years. At least that's what I read... Also not sure though.
I love how is veers off the main melody and I think it worked really well. This is excellent.
This would be perfect for a Majora's Mask Remake trailer.
@lynn124k do you know who did make this?
Sounds kinda like Child of Light.... I love it
I still remember making a music video to this as a kid holy shit time flies
Brothers, sisters, in-betweens...I've come home again, back to this wonderful tune.
How have you all been? Life changed me over and over as it does all things.
I can hardly remember my old name at this point, haha.
But here at last I have returned, to the lands forgotten.
And the tower, forbidden.
13 year anniversary since I found this tune.
Deevil0178, if you're still around, thank you for posting this all those years ago.
And to everyone else: I hope you are all doing well, or still trying in this mad world we live in.
Farewell,
Absolutely right! My math let me down! =P
the best Majora's Mask remix
i sort of hated stone tower temple though >_< ...it just pissed me off. haha
The beginning ( before piano start) of this version make me think of Abyssal temple in Twilight Princess.
@Dethenger Best youtube comment Ive seen in quite some time. Very accurate givent the current context!
Almost sounds mournful. Which fits considering where in the game this would play.
This was the first video on RUclips I ever liked. I come back to it every now and then...it makes me feel so many strange ideas. So much darkness.
Ocaring of time and Majora's Mask have the most awesome soundtracks i have ever heard!!!
Is there sheet music for this? I play piano (And cello and violin) and I have a friend who loves this song and I'd love to play this for her.
The particle theory of matter, one of the most important parts of science because it will help prove that air has particles between them.
The ink droplets lab indicates that there are particles of matter because of the way it moves. This lab used two beakers of water. One of which contained hot water, and the other containing cold water.
My adventures in the Stone Temple:
*Walks into the stone temple* Alright, I don't this will be to hard *few seconds later get hits by a bolder* Come on! *about a minute later sees a beamo and then puts on bomb mask, gets shot by beams but was trying to block with shield, it's a failure, i then use bomb mask, get damage from bomb mask and from exploding beamo head.* UNFAIR *later, in zora form get's attacked by a fire keese and gets reset* What!? *later falls off and restarts AGAIN* *rage quit*
