For those saying or thinking of using CO2 for this replica, don't. Unless VFC updated the design recently, CO2 cracks the slide on the pistol. So you'll need to upgrade to a steel slide for CO2 use
The P320/M17 platform is really great with steel slide, even on green gas the kick is very strong, and on CO2, it's the hardest kicking CO2 steel build I have, even compared to things like RWC GRP or GHK G17 gen 3 on CO2 etc.
I have the same issue with my CZ 75 made by ASG. When it's mildly cool outside, even on red gas it won't work properly. CO2 mag makes it a killer but i understand why people want to stick to green gas. Many sites want to chrono your co2 pistols which adds to the hassle of messing with co2 capsules etc etc instead of just quick whizz of green/red gas and you're good. Great video Bada!
Sorry to hear you’ve had issues. I enjoy convenience of GG. Top up your mag any time etc.. I’m sure there are things you could do with the CZ? I’m unfamiliar with them but there has to be enhanced parts. Thank for watching
Hey there! i had the same lockback issues with my m18, Went with the AMG valves + hammer spring, solved the issue but not 100% more like 80% ish.. but still not bad in my oppinion, using 164psi green gas with no silicone
Great to hear your success with the AMG valve. I have one of those for my WE MP5 which fits…but this video would’ve been twice as long! I even thought about cutting a section off the slide catch to increase the amount of space it has to engage. A bit drastic though!
@@BadaBingPictures i've seen people do that, as well as shaving of a bit of the blowback unit so that the slide encounters less friction when traveling back, to much hassle in my opinion :D im satisfied with just the spring and valve change
It's a pity that it doesn't work as it should "out of the box", it's good that you can deal with it to some extent. There is always an option to lose weight with slide cutouts and reduce gas consumption ;) thus increasing the number of slidelock cycles.
still a bit better than stock but most of the time we’re lucky to even get 10 degrees! That’s like summer for us here 😂 nice looking pistol but that bolt lock is a shame
It’s a horrendous allergy. I’m sorry it’s messing you up. I find immersion is the best medicine. I run outdoors on dry dusty days and sorts me out for while.
No I didn’t. I think it was the co2 that caused the damage on my 1st pistol. No issues. It’s still going strong, as you’ll see towards the end of the video.
I've been thinking about getting an M17 but this looks a bit rough! Did you try the VFC hammer spring with the AMG recoil spring? Seems like that might be the winning combo for that extra push.
They might be better now with manufacturers improvements over the years. But they might not. No I didn’t. The stock hammer spring puts up a noticeable resistance, and I was going for as smooth and efficient as possible.
Have you had hands on with a Parabellum yet? There’s reasons why the Sig Air replicas *cant* (aren’t allowed to) be adjusted to work better. Parabellum ones, however are a different story and can come out of the box in a different state.
Furthing this, I have a Parabellum P320 PRO WC (3.9"), and aside from the slide lock having some issues out of the box (it got stuck sometimes), giving the P320 a good lube made it work perfectly.
@@BadaBingPictures The Parabellum ones are usually more aftermarket, but still based on the VFCs, with both M18 and M17 'lengths' for each SKU unless, its specifically for, lets say M18 with their M18X version. I don't think they have any 'stock' M17/18 versions though, however.
Parabellum is just one of VFC's other brands, like APFG and Maruyama, since they lost the license to SIG. So those are just more ironed out VFC pistols and they only seem to cover the more "Gucci" Sigs.
VFC must know that half of their products are destined for retailers in non-tropical climates. Why aren't they including two sets of springs in the box? It would cost them peanuts. Make it make sense to me.

@@aaron4820 Do you use the stock nozzle with the steel slide and CO2? I thought that the nozzle was known to break with CO2 ...
they need steel reenforcement for slide catch on the slide.

That “Dick cheese” comment is one of the funniest descriptions I’ve heard in my life!
Heh!
Every tan gun out there is dick cheese. I’m amazed no one has made that correlation.

British summers mean positive slide locks on M17’s, strawberries and hay fever.
Man I love strawberries.
@@BadaBingPicturesI have hay fever right now 🤧

I bought it from a local Military surplus shop. US M81 ECWCS goretex jacket.
@@BadaBingPictures Thank you😊😊
So the problem is low presure on blowback and stif og springs? What about Co2 mags?
Apparently it locks the slide better with them, but I don’t own the co2 magazines.
Slightly off topic, but did you keep having issues with the WE M17 replacement? Specifically the slide breaking near the optics cut.

Hello sir,do you know if the x carry suffer the same problems? (I have m17 too unfortunately same problems)
Hi,
I don’t know about the x carry.
Hey BadaBing!
"Clump of peanut butter", 'cause it's FDE right? 😆 Well, I have more issues with the extended mag, IDK, it's just so ugly.
Hey
Exactly right. FDE is so overdone now. A dark green should become more popular.
I would prefer the flush mags as well.

😂
Bad stuff this pistol...
For all those shouting use co2... i did and it wasnt much better
Its a good looking but shitty performing gun.
This sums it up nicely.
First xD
