    1. Being told no
    2. Letting others have opportunities, i.e., not being in control
    3. Sharing attention
    4. Being accountable for behavior
    5. Being without supply/being ignored
    6. Growth: narcs are dull, grey, ugly people ... hate criticism and humor

    - dont want to be told NO
    - dont want to be criticized with his wrong behaviours

I work with a narcissist that HATES me so much she can't talk to me without spitting her words, talks about me while I'm sitting next to her and tells our boss lies on a weekly basis hoping to get me fired. Fortunately I've had witnesses so far to back me up. Hoping her real self is exposed SOON. Would love it if she moved on and soon but I will probably have to leave my job because I don't know how much longer I can grin and bear it.

Cara - I am so sorry that you are being subjected to such abuse, bullying and torment. You should not have to endure this on a daily basis at your workplace. This is wrong on so many levels. It has to be affecting you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is heartbreaking. I am not sure if you are in therapy, yet if you are, I hope you are sharing with your therapist so her/him have it all noted in their records. They can also support you with a letter about how deeply this is affecting you. The same with your doctor. If you haven't seen your doctor about this, then I recommend you do. You deserve all the support you can get. This is affecting a huge portion of your life. If anyone should have to leave your workplace, it is this cruel bully. You deserve to be treated with respect, kindness, loyalty, and dignity. Your peace of mind and well being also deserve to be at the top of your priority list! I pray that things get better for you sooner rather than later. You matter! Never ever forget this. 🙏💗🙏💗🙏💗

When you are silent, unless they ask you point blank (which they rarely do), the narcissist has no idea whether that means you are telling them, "no." They have no idea whether you have a critical mindset toward them. They have no idea whether the situation is under their control. They have no idea whether you are rejecting them. They have no idea when you make a superior move outside their knowledge. They have no idea how, behind the scenes, things are changing on them. They have no idea they are about to be exposed. Let their egos carry the day for them - in your absence. Eventually, they may ask point blank questions, but you can feed them back the same types of evasive answers they use, and then exit. Turn their own game back on them.

My daughter is in process of divorcing a malignant narcissist after 13 years. Took 13 years for any of us to see this! He is currently in jail due to multiple contempts of breaking full stay away order. He has second attempt next week to take a plea which would grant him immediate release on ankle bracelet, curfew, no social media, mandatory psychiatric evaluation and treatment, domestic violence classes and once compliant can begin visitation with his children under direct supervision with a psychiatrist. He will be required to be on probation for three years and my daughter and her children will have a five year stay away order with a carve out. He still doesn’t understand the gravity of of the situation and judge and his last own attorney stated he is completely out of touch with reality. He had had three of his retained attorneys “fire” him because he is impossible to represent. We will see if he decides to take plea next week or make a stupid decision on his part to have a trial. We are quite fearful if he does get out next week, as he has 24 hours to obtain the ankle bracelet. We will all be on high alert as the DV advocate states he is unhinged, as we have been aware of. Your videos have been extremely helpful and so spot on. We have learned so much. My daughter has learned to have so much strength due to therapy and all the support she has. She was diagnosed with ptsd and the two oldest children are in therapy as well. The oldest is 14 with Asperger’s, which makes it a bit more confusing for him to deal with his emotions. My 11 year old granddaughter has so much anger. She states she hates her father and doesn’t want to see him again. The 3 year old, he never even bonded with. Such a sad situation. Divorces are ugly and messy, but this one has been over the top! It didn’t have to be like this. But after realizing what a horrible narcissist we found him to be, completely explains everything that’s been going on.

Oh Boy, do I need this!
I am 51 and just realized I was raised by a Malignant Narcissist, my Mom. The loss of my Dad & Sister, started a ball rolling. Especially my sisters death. She often says our Cousin doesn’t deserve to live because of all of the drugs he has done.
I KNEW she was trying to hint to me and that is really her opinion of me, she’s told me so. She also told me that she never formed a bond with me as a baby.
    I have NEVER HEARD THAT!
I am still in shock a year later.
@51 this blindsided me as I grew up as I was ALWAYS TOLD how special I was. So much so, I think that could have presented some issues to my life. wreckless She has put on a lotta weight, has stopped exercising.
I was addicted to pain medicine I was on & I am 8 years clean and sober. I’ve noticed since I’m not sitting back quiet in the corner, my opinion is ignored…
THell, it’s not even heard… She cuts off EVERYTHING I SAY! No Exaggeration!
She my adoptive mother and I couldn’t love her anymore than I do today. I had to live with her in 2019 for 2 years afterI lost my Home to a Fire. It had just become worse as I have gotten older.
My Mom took over the Mom role while my Son had to live with her for almost 2 years. I have Lupus and WAS in the Hospital a lot, 🙏🏼🙏🏼 but no more 🙏🏼!
She did more than Play Mom, she informed him of every bad behavior of mine. And there were many. I have totally changed, I am probably more afraid of telling a lie than getting caught in it!!!
But most important I want to live my best life, as I am able.
I never could figure her out.
I am a Highly Sensitive Person with Emotional Recognition, I absolutely have no business being around my Mom!
I will however do what is expected of me, because that is what I would hope my children would do for me.
Boy did it F me UP!

I remember having a narc around until about 6 years ago when I had enough of all his bullshit and started plotting things with my friend. The narc had lied about being an expert at computers, he even got fired because he was "too good" according to him. My friend has worked for Apple, but since I warned him the day before, he kept a straight face until he started bragging about, then my friend started talking about coding on a level this person could not understand and after that, he shut up about that. Shortly after, I got a mail from the narc, where he threatened to "go apeshit" for the fifty-eleventh time, then quickly apologized. However, I had gotten fed up by then and told him "Well go apeshit somewhere else, you've gone bullshit so many times that I'm not valuing you anymore, goodbye!" That felt better than really good sex!
I've known this person for many many years and he has always used the "apeshit-card" on people, that or just farting, burping or acting straight out immature towards my other friends, hoping they wouldn't want to be with me anymore. When I told him to piss off, I felt that was almost the best thing I've ever done! The best thing I've ever done has been to educate myself about narcissism and finding out what to avoid. Thanks for all your inspiring videos, I believe they have potential to make people grow mentally and eventually leave these toxic beings

I just want to stop hurting and move on. Feels like it’s impossible. I won’t give up getting my possessions because I know that in the end I will win my life back.

I FINALLY figured it out for myself researching on the computer what the he-- was WRONG with my twin sister...when I learned what a narcissist was..BINGO! Hit the nail on the head exactly...too bad it took 5 years of crying with me TRYING to figure things out with her..then when I looked back on all the years of CRAP she did to her own family (that I'd always say, Well that's ODD)...I NOW KNEW WHY! SHES A NARCISSIST!

Ms Rebecca, your videos give me hope. It gives me a sense on how to handle my daughters mother. I try my hardest not to knock her teeth out for the disrespect she does towards me, my kids, or even towards my mother. After watching your videos and other videos that describe why she is the way she is, it started from her childhood. I knew all the women in her family and they were toxic. So your videos are on point on how to handle these crazy ass situations. Thank you Ms. Rebecca.

Yes, my first wife, at the time I didn't know she was a toxic, malignant narcissist. I was working on a model airplane and it was late at night. You know, all my chores where done. For crying out loud. She was so gelous I thought. She also couldn't stand to see me happy Ignoring her. I would talk at the same time to her. But, that wasn't good enough for Beth. Oh did I say Beth? Yes, Elizabeth.

What’s your suggestion on a narcissistic coworker always complaining and making the office temperature so warm complaining about it being so 🥶 cold. Though it’s 🥵 hot and it’s not a battle I want to take on. The negotiation passed and the person got her way with the boss?

He has always had a bond with his children. Don't know what to do it's just so sad. Im hoping the children are safe with her, I can only pray for them.
