Tell us: What's the hardest training you've ever done for something?
Learning to play Tennis, spent my whole life playing sports with my feet. 1 example: Soccer (US)/ Football/Futbol(MX). I am US/Mexican, so I encountered playing using both words, in English and Spanish.
Plus FootBall was hard too.
This means the US FootBall.
Keep in mind Football is said as Soccer in the US.
So I know FootBall and (US) FootBall with quarterbackers etc.
Football(US) is people tackling, energetic and the NFL in the US.
Depends on who I was playing with. Along with other sports that use no hands.
rip my dad, Basketball he made me do drills as a kid at the park. It was hard to get the timing right. it had a rhythm the drills so it is not rushed. I would then speed up a bit with some things.
Along with my sister teaching me Violin. I play Viola and learning to swim.
The military
Irish dancing
Massive respect to Maxi. He knew at age 16 what he wanted to do for the rest of his life and he went for it with all his might. I watched him growing up on this show and he just worked really hard and is true inspiration for young people. Good man Maxi :)
putting Maxi on that training program is one of the BEST decisions they have made in my opinion..he is one hell of a kid---> teen ---> and now a man
I always forget that Maxi´s name is actually Trent 😂
Same 😂

2:22 I love how silly Gonz/Troy looks here. Adorable!
My respect just 📈📈 I honestly wouldn't be able to put myself through that
Yes 👍 and she will come back in a little later today or after work if I have a moment or maybe 🤔 would like 👍 come to my room for you guys tomorrow and let us see the movie
I love how proud Maxi's parents are of him! They have every reason ❤
Its amazing to see how strong they all are and how willing they are.
I'm only 11 years old but i already wanna be a lifeguard i can't wait to grow up i will do my best to achieve my dream
That’s awesome. All the things you have to do to become a true lifeguard. Amazing
wow respect
from a lifeguard
I love this show!!!!❤️
800 meters?? That's fantastic. I'm a pool lifeguard and I'm pretty sure I could only do 600 meters tops in 13 minutes. Beach lifeguards amaze me
Truly impressive hey! They definitely put in the hard yards
Look at Maxi there....
Funny to see the familiar faces.
Greetings from a Greek, beach lifeguard!!!!
i've never been this early to anything in my life lol
Im 13 and learning how to swim, i don't think i will be able to swim very fast but i will try my best to become a life guard

Bondi

flip phones? when was this? 400 years ago?

Places still sell flip phones at least in the US you can still get them
any updates on Jakes journey into Mormonism ?
id die if i tried this
❤️
3:17-3:25 🤔 🤨 ummm well that was awkward lol.
I find it funny that when I was 9 I would have been able to pass the first test of the 800 metres 😂😭, my pb when I was 9 was like 12:15 and now I’m 14 it’s 10:47
Next year you can work at a pool, and then when you're 16 you can take this test. Best of luck, I'm sure you'll be a fantastic guard
@@strugglingcollegestudent yesss thank you ! I have been planning on training to become a lifeguard as soon as I can and start working down at the pool near me whilst I’m still at school
@@evalemmon I’m a pool lifeguard our test is pretty easy only 300 meters and not timed. The benefit is you’ll have access to a pool all year long to keep training.
Lil’ babe
*I still don't understand one thing:*
Why making on test the decisive test? Why don't you make multiple tests (board paddling, surfing, swimming and running), so maybe someone can't swim that fast, but is an amazing surfers.
That would give them the change to still get the job and prove themselves. 😕🤗
Because the first test isn't to see who's the best, it's to see who's not instantly cut. If you can't do the swim, you shouldn't even try to guard - the swim is like moderately though at best.
@@thomasotten4876 Yeha but why? Swimming is the smallest part about lifeguarding here. 🤔
@@ch007eh7 no it's not - it's the baseline. The swim isn't even like an elite swimmer pace, it's a competent swimmer with some training pace. If you can't swim that qualifier you shouldn't be in a job where you're going to have to swim like that.
At my beach guarding job, if someone came in less than a minute over the time, we'd still let them do rookie school then re-test at the other end and 9/10 times they passed. At Bondi you have enough people applying you don't have to make that distinction - you're going to be fully staffed with the best of the best at the end already, and still have to cut good candidates. Why lower the bar?
@@thomasotten4876 Mh. That's an argument. But I like that part with a little too late still gets a change. 😊
@@thomasotten4876 Can they not retest next year at Bondi?
