NVIDIA market share of AI chip is about 80%, the last 20% is mostly from google in-house chip, so amd share is very very small right now. They need to be able to grow it a lot faster.

AMD has one of the best CEOs Lisa Su. Easy investment at this price.

AMD may have a lower stock price, but it has a higher PE, and Nvidia easily beats it on every metric that matters. AMD stock price is where it is because of mediocre earnings at best. Nvidia is where it is because of excellent earnings. You narrow the gap with better earnings not wishful thinking. AMD appeals to people who are looking for the next Nvidia and like the lower stock price. Nvidia can fix that with a stock split.

AMD will grow into those valuations, there is enough TAM for everyone in the semi space (except intel)

Executive VP of Microsoft AI Cloud called AMD's ai gpu's "the most cost effective for Azure OpenAI". AMD is SEVERLY undervalued rn.

AMD has never been able to catch Nvidia. Nvidia was far ahead of everyone on this, and is TSMC's second largest customer. Who do you think TSMC is going to take care of first? Their largest customers - Apple and Nvidia. Don't believe me? Ask companies that supply Apple who they prioritise. While everyone is trying to compete with the H100, Nvidia is getting ready to release Blackwell. Next year, they'll be releasing another chip. How do you catch up to someone who is moving faster than you?

this is not about AMD catching NVDA, this is about total addressable market. AMD has a 260bln market cap, NVDA is 2.3T. I guarantee you AMD can make it to 500bln before NVDA gets to 4T.Why not just own both. The fact that they cans ecure a huge customer like Microsoft means many other companies will follow suit.
