Yo thx
You're a superhero.
Thanks!
it looks so cozy. 😍
I want a custom made castle with common room of Gryffindor, roof garden of Ravenclaw, grand staircase of Slytherin and common room of Hufflepuff as the study hall
Hufflepuff radiates such hobbit/shire home energy and it’s perfect
Agreed. I've always been drawn to Hufflepuff, to see the dorm and common room ingame is an absolute treat.
I'm a Slytherclaw but I'd pull a Harry Potter just so I can take a nap in Hufflepuff
Hufflepuffs a bunch of Herbologist nerds😅😅
Yes I agree and I think Ravenclaw gives Elf vibes like Lothlorien kinda
@@tylergalvez5033nd which house are you dum@$$?
Gryffindor: Frat house
Ravenclaw: Yuppies apartment
Slytherin: Trust Fund kids basement
Hufflepuff: Hobbit hole
Why does everyone keep calling the Ravenclaw common room a cafe or an apartment for yuppies? I mean would you call a guy in a black racer jacket and chelsea boots hanging out in a coffee shop a yuppie?
@@tristancreed Everything are orderly, the ornaments and interiors are not too grandeur but not too shabby either.
Well mannered residents, academic oriented, not rebellious but not uptight either.
Personally, everything Ravenclaws scream yuppies to me.
P.S. : Not the kind of bourgeoisie yuppies but how people with career would do.
hands down, the Slytherin background music is the most beautiful of them all. Plus, that awesome snake door entrance just outshines all other common rooms.
Indeed! First time I saw the snake coil and door reveal truly wowed me. THE BEST AND COOLEST ENTRANCE!
yup. It's because slytherin is the house for white skinned, pure blooded, true wizards. It's the best house in the game
@@CJ-wh7ik woah white skinned? I know they’re an iteration of Nazis but come on lol. Don’t reach for the racism stuff with Slytherin.
@@CJ-wh7ik you know theres other nonwhites in that house right?…
Yessss

i love how each house symbolizes one of the four elements. Gryffindor fire, Ravenclaw air, Slytherin water and Hufflepuff earth. The developers did an excellent job of composing the design of the houses based on these elements. Each house has its own identity and charm. Hufflepuff and Gryffindor are the coziest. Gryffindor has the nostalgia of books and movies in its favor and reminds us of those Christmas days in front of a fireplace. Hufflepuff reminds us of that fairytale farm coziness. Ravenclaw and Slytherin are colder, more mysterious and aristocratic environments, but very beautiful. I love how each house mirrors one another. The warm Gryffindor and cold Ravenclaw are in the tallest towers of Hogwarts and are based on medieval castles. The warm Hufflepuff and cold Slytherin are hiding places under the Earth and under the lake. Hard to say which would be my favorite. The only solution would be to play hogwarts legacy four times in all houses to enjoy everything the game offers.
Really well said.
@@RandomPS5Guides ..? What? Ones house is literally under a lake and the others house is in a tall tower with a focus on astronomy and it’s mascot is a raven..
This is not avatar my friend. This is harry potter.
@@RandomPS5Guides Why? First, your colour logic only works in a western way of associating elements and colours. Because for example, in some asian folklore, water is associated with the colour black insted of blue.
But even by only using western myths and science logic, why green for the air? I could understand white but green? The sky can be many colours but never green and the sea/ocean is only blue when reflecting the sky. Most of the time, it is green because of all the algea in it or black because of the absence of light deep down. So green for water and blue for air actually makes more sens.
@@imwinningthisone7613But the element association for each houses is actually in the lore so...
Gryffindor: warm, bright
Ravenclaw: cool, bright
Hufflepuff: warm, dark
Slytherin: cool, dark
I kinda think that the Gryffindor dorm was made to feel like a "jock" dorm. If that was what they intended, they they did a really good job. It's not unique like others, but I get the jock wide pretty well.
also HUFFLEPUFF DORM IS SO PRETTY, HOLY SHIT!
Slytherin dorm is just cool, just very very hella cool. Love it. Plus, the snake entrance? That's fuckin' badass.
Ravenclaw is pretty too. It's very nice, serene even. I like it.
Basically Gryffindor = Athletes, Hufflpuff = Botanists/Animal Caretaking, Slytherin = Rich kids, Ravenclaw = Bookworms/Hobbyists

I like ravenclaw design the most and hufflepuff while it feels like i have seen it somewhere else, it just downright homie.
Raven claw I would say looks like regular dorm tbh.
The Slytherin dorm looks and sounds very Atlantis or ancient Greek temple underwater or something. That plus the music feels very Zora's domain
I love how you need to do something to get into the common room; both Gryffindor and Slytherin need a password, Hufflepuff needs a knock on a specific place with a specific tune, and in Ravenclaw that you have to answer riddles to come in.
Ravenclaw sounds rough for students who are smart but don't pay attention much or an overthinker.
Only shame, in case of Ravenclaw, is that the game solves it for you. Really disappointed I didn't get to puzzle it, when the game is full of puzzles already
@@Xcimeister the game needs an option to up the difficulty of puzzles or something, including not giving you the right answers...
@@Xcimeister Imagine solve a riddle EVERY time you need enter there, I think not even Ravenclaws like me could bear that.

the hufflepuff room looks so beautiful and cozy 😭 and the ravenclaw one looks so relaxing and also really beautiful. ravenclaw is also the only one with a common bathroom tho ??? 💀 the slytherin one is the coolest but also really grand with the polished pillars and such. but i definitely love the gryffindor common room the most because it’s exactly how i imagined it to look whenever i read the books
Two bathrooms even, one for each dorm. In the same vein that boys can't go into the girl dorms I wonder if it at least limits the girls from going into the boys bathroom haha
Hufflepuffs get to raid the kitchen though.
@@CombatMagic it does not. My female Ravenclaw went in there without any issues, and she also could go in all the male dorms, too.
@@unintentional_smile Hey, thanks for clarifying that~
And now that I think about it, the castle never stopped the boys for going into girls' bathrooms, not when the troll was in the dungeons in book 1 or to Myrtle's bathroom in book 2~
Maybe the fact that it hide the entrance of the Secret Chamber is the reason why boys can enter the bathroom.
Salazar Slytherin was a powerful sorcerer, he could have protect the bathroom with very powerful (but hidden) spells, just in case someone would restrain the entrance to any kind of students.
They all look fantastic, though I have to say as a Ravenclaw I definitely made the right choice. To me it is the most inviting and cozy common room of them all. Coming back to it late at night with everyone asleep and only the fireplace still crackling was one of the highlights of my playthrough.
Hufflepuff room looks like the hobbit hole I love it so much even the doors are hobbit holes!
"They're taking the students to Hogwarts!"
@@thebufoonthey are taking the Hobbits to Hogwarts
Just a side note... most of these tour video characters only see the guys perspective.... Gryffindor girls dorm room has awesome vaulted ceilings.
Gryffindor's dorm makes me think of nobility and knighthood.
Ravenclaw dorm is about astronomy, stars, and just elegance.
Slytherin dorm is awesome and gives a gothic vibe.
Hufflepuff is like a cozy pub and warm.
My personal favorite is Slytherin because I just love the ocean view. Also, I like gothic style architecture.
So, in other words:
- Griffyndor = Knights / Tanks / Frontline Bruisers / Sustain DpS
- Ravenclaw = Wizards / AoE Dps / Offensive Buffers
- Slytherin = Assassins / Single Target Dps / DoT Dps / Debuffers
- Hufflepuff = Healers / Shielders / Defensive Buffers
post writing edit: this is really long.
tldr: i love how the designers made each house's areas lean into their core values, as they did it really effectively whilst creating beautiful, dynamic spaces.
i love how the common rooms and dormitories make sense - for instance, in the slytherin one, i like how they incorporated small social areas in each dormitory, or made them feel more like social spaces, while keeping the main common room fairly similar to the films - less social areas than the other common rooms, more spaced out and lacking seating.
personally i think that makes a lot more sense - slytherins aren't *supposed* to be overly social - they're meant to be loyal to their friends and circles.
having the dormitories, a place filled with friends, feel more like a comforting, fun place to hang out makes a lot more sense for them, as they'd likely feel more comfortable and trusting with those theyre loyal to.
it sort of opposes gryffindor tower in that way - the dorms there feel mostly about sleep and study, whilst the common room is more of a social area.
then, in ravenclaw tower, the beds feel pushed to the side, the main focuses of the room being the desks or shelves - the dorms there are mostly just for sleep.
the common room having more open spaces, like slytherins, is so you can immerse yourself in your studies, whilst still having some social areas that feel... somewhat cosier that slytherins.
again, it changes for hufflepuff - everything is more cosy because for huffepuffs, inter-house loyalty is more important than just friendship loyalty.
it's more of a social area so everyone can spend time together, vastly differing to the slytherin common room, and mirroring the gryffindor one in that sense.
the dormitories there are much cosier, obviously, but the beds are almost less daunting - they feel very open, without fancy drapery, hangings, or other beds above them making them feel cramped and secluded.
again, it plays into hufflepuff house values - trust and openness.
sorry for the rant! i truly love how the designers did this :) it's so lovely! they're all so individual and honestly? i couldn't be happier with each area.
You can tell this is a fantasy game because there's no way a real teenager would ever eat that much fruit.
Imagine we never saw Griffindor & Slytherin common rooms. All the common rooms are equally unique and beautiful in my opinion. Each definitely describes each houses characteristics perfectly. However I'm not sure why only Ravenclaw has bathrooms
EDIT: Griffindor has bathrooms inside too but only if you play as female that you can access since it's in the girls' dorm which wizards can't access. But I still can't see any bathrooms inside Slytherin & Hufflepuff unless I'm missing something in the game
cuz we’re the only one clean 💅🏻
They all do!! But Ravenclaws are the only ones inside the dorm with them! ‘Puffs gotta trek the farthest sadly lol. I mean if you think about it they obviously have the Slytherin Girls bathroom for certain secret chamber homage! Keep exploring!!!
@@loC2ol Is the Slytherin girls bathroom inside their Common Room or in the Dungeons somewhere? Cause I want to find it on my own. (please don't tell me exactly where it is, just where it's located.😅)
@@The_Slytherin_Serpent21 dungeons
Honestly, if the founders of Hogwarts could see into the future, they would have added magical barriers for the boys dorm as well.
Thanks for the video!! I honestly think the Ravenclaw common room needed to be explored during day time to give it full justice considering it’s meant to be light and airy due to it being one of the highest towers
Jesus you notice how good Slytherin bedrooms are compared to the rest? More space, only 2 other room mates a fireplace and a sitting place? They’re so lavish and privileged compared to the rest lol.
Whoever was in charge of the rooms was a Ravenclaw, the biggest common room, and the only ones who got bathrooms
Gryffindor also has bathrooms and I think hufflepuff. Slytherin was the only one I couldn’t find a bathroom in the common room for. I also notice ravenclaw has less rooms and beds per room so I have questions now lol 😂
@@boiicrazy01 hufflepuff doesnt have bathrooms either
Not to mention a rooftop! I think designers got to pick which rooms they wanted as obviously those who wanted to do Ravenclaw -> identified as ones -> were the only ones smart enough to think of such a mundane but essential thing as giving people a bathroom 😅
Stereotypical Vibes
Gryffindor - Aristocratic Jocks | Warm & Athletic | The Tutors
Ravenclaw - Bourgeois Feminocentrics | Cultured & Polished | The Winter Palace / Val Royeaux from DA:I
Slytherin - Hellenistic Sophists | Exotic & Esoteric | Rapture from Bioshock
Hufflepuff - Hobbitish Green-Thumbs | Hospitable & Stifling | The shire if it were run by your hording nan
the tutors? What are they tutoring? Do you mean the Tudor’s
To me the Ravenclaw and slytherin dormitories and common rooms are the best as they are more elegant and really stand out
Plus, we seen Gryffindor common room so many times it’s just boring but that’s my opinion
@@ConsumptiveSoul exactly
Slytherin one is extremely brutalist, not very elegant
So Slytherins have no natural light at all. Poor guys. I am not surprised they turn evil after they have been locked in the dark for such a long time.
That's because they're underwater, they can see the creatures that live under the black lake (giant squid, mermaids...etc) passing by their windows. Slytherin's common room is the most unique of all four houses imo.
Who needs natural light when you have a giant squid pet
A few small things I wanted to see in the game:
- Seeing people actually sleep in beds, and the player able to lie in bed too.
- Being able to sit in chairs
Slightly bigger things:
- Side quest involving using Polyjuice potion to sneak into the other houses, maybe to help a student who had something stolen and kept in another dorm, or to get access to something else for the story
Is the private bathroom ravenclaws got is a form of compensation for not having a major role in the story?
First thought, wow. The Devs did such a great job. Such care was taken with these spaces. The whole castle feels like a visit to a fantasy, and it's all so grandiose.
I actually think the Gryffindor room looks gorgeous, it has a really fun, friendly vibe, even if, by comparison it is the vanilla option. Not sure what the point is of that little barely hidden room with all the posters. It has the vibe of one of those cool "historic" hostels you stay in visiting Europe about to embark on that camping trip. Lived in and bright. Also, they definitely win the school spirit award. Notice how none of the other common rooms have any Hogwarts memorabilia outside of their own House symbols?
Why would anyone be a dark wizard is such a glorious place? Any of those dorms would be fun. The Ravenclaw and Slytherin Rooms are my favourite. They just ooze atmosphere. I love the astrolabe on the ceiling of the Ravenclaw room, and it looks so stunning in the evening. I love that planetarium/classical library vibe. But, the tower balcony really clinches it, for me, as the best of the rooms. Stunning. Are they the only ones with bathrooms?
I love the entrance to the Slytherin room, the snake appearing in the wall is so bad ass, then the statue of the mermaids and the winding downward stair case with a waterfall on one side and the tapestries on the other. It feels so grandiose. And the gleaming marble floors signify class and comfort associated with that house. I love the aquarium windows, and the really large byzantine ceilings mitigate the claustrophobic feel of the place.
Hufflepuff's Hanging gardens are stunning, very Hobbit like. It's just perfectly cozy. I think the boys get a bit of a bum rap, not being able to explore the upper floors. I love the secret food room behind the book shelf. I've heard they have an easy pass to the Kitchens as well.
I wish these rooms had more of a function in the game, but I've got to give the devs credit. They really brought Hogwarts to life. Maybe we can hold out for a DLC or something that gives us a bit more to do in the common rooms.
The Slytherin common room looks so cold compared to the others, the cold lighting, grey stone walls, I'd be huddled by the fire all the time in there, compare that to how warm and cozy all the other house rooms look
People with true ambitions of power and greatness care not for interior decorating or spending resources/effort on decor.
@@MrFuggleGuggle lmao
Yeah but the huge aquarium is pog
True and while I'm Ravenclaw through and through, I am actually enticed by the Slytherin dorm... something about it feels nice to me. And that aquarium!! It's under a lake or something? I wish they played that up even more.
Well, the slytherin common rooms are under the lake so that explains why it looks cold and the lighting is that way. Gryfindor and Ravenclaw are in two of the four towers, so those three dormitories are probably pretty chilly, considering Hogwarts is a castle and would be drafty. I’m always cold so I’m glad that I’m a hufflepuff and can stay cozy by the kitchens!😂
Gryffindor: It's so red, and has way too many paintings. It's a constant assault on my eyes.
Ravenclaw: It's so nice and relaxing, the white and blue give it a colonial vibe. I'm glad I chose Ravenclaw.
Slytherin: The underwater temple vibe it's not for me, but it's nicer than I expected.
Hufflepuff: Strong hobbit vibes, the coziest one for sure.
Fire never fades away! Gryffindor all the way!!
The Lion symbolizes Passion and Fire Hope. That suits perfect for me.
Yeah Gryff is just so tacky.
@@sugoruyo You can bark how you want but the Lion doesn't give a shit.
Maybe I'm biased, but yeah, Slytherin common room is the coolest of all four
Ravenclaw common room is epic! Even got a rooftop.
Yeah but the bedrooms sucks..
@@Mazerunner95 I like the Gryffindor bedrooms the most. So classic.
And a bathroom 😅
@@Mazerunner95What? Whyy?
When reading the books or fanfiction, I've always imagined it just being one room, being the common room, not it being multiple rooms, but this makes more sense for Gryffindor and everyone else. Also where were the bathing facilities for the gryffindors, syltherins, and puffs? Do they not get those?
Not sure about Gryffindor or Hufflepuff but Slytherin’s bathroom is outside the common room down the hallway next to the entrance door
The Slytherin bathrooms are in the Slytherin dungeons, next to the common room main entrance
I don't think they get baths, no 😂😂😂
I agree, I thought it was just a room and the dorms and not like an entire mansion😅 Especially the Slytherin one, it's so huge I don't see a need for them to get out. Oh wait, to go to the bathroom 😅 Or to see the sun heh.
I just freaking love all the details they've put in all house common rooms and dorms. I'm def gonna make a character for each house. Already started with my own house, Slytherin, then gonna make one for the other houses ☺️
gryffindor looks like a homeless shelter compared to Ravenclaw 😎
Why is it that the only one's that have a bathroom is the Ravenclaws. I think they all should have a bathroom in the dorm area.
This unique piano music in Slytherin! Feels like a Grand Hotel
Are we all gonna ignore the fact that Gryffindor only has 3 rooms whilst the others have a lot more?
Wow. This Bully 2 game looks amazing! Jimmy finally goes to Hogwarts Academy to learn some magic

its funny how gryffindor, slytherin and ravenclaw have so many stairs and rooms and hufflepuff is just the commom rom and the private rooms
i love the look and vibe of the Hufflepuff common room but it annoys me how small it is compared to the others. especially considering you can't even access the upstairs area as a guy
After finding out Slytherin's piano plays the song that made me quit piano, idk if I want to choose Slytherin anymore...
😂 I love this song! But I don't do piano so...
I just love the little detail in sky slytherin where when you exit the common room you can hear a hint of parseltongue as the snake comes down. Just a perfect dark little detail.
Finally a video of the common rooms in a boy's perspective.
For those who don't know what I am going on about, it is canon in the books that boys can't enter the girl's dorm because "They are less trustworthy", so there are deterrents and measures to prevent that.
Kinda interesting that only Ravenclaw has a different method
Wait, can the girls enter the boys dorm?
@@staticspacedoll yes. In the books, Hermione does this multiple times. In the game though, I think so as well?

I'm Hufflepuff and I really like the common room but I'm not a fan of low ceiling of its dorm, it would be great if they add more natural lights and big windows. Ravenclaw looks amazingly neat and clean, Gryffindor have a great vibe too
I sense some bigotry against Slytherin?! You filthy little mudblood
@@YouSuprised hahaa:))) no offense, Slytherin is great too, I just love bright places

Hufflepuff with more nature light will be more majestic. I also like natural light and would like dorm to have similar nature light as the common room too. But they are living in basement so it understandable to have not much nature light like ravenclaw who lived above.
i agree, i love the plant theme but the lack of windows felt too underground-y and the dorms felt lacking
9:50
This combination of red wood, limestone and yellow light gives me vibes of some places in first HP game on PC.
Also Slytherin dorms are the only one which have furnaces in them. It appears to be rather cold down there.
Slytherin pride 🐍
Weird fact, only Girls can technically explore the entire Dorms. Boys can’t go into the girl sections. Each House Dorm having a blocker or slippery stairs. Of some sort.
Holy....cow these common rooms look stunning. Imagine if they made a LOTR game where you could design your own elf, hobbit, man, orc, dwarf etc. and visit Rivendell, Bag End and everything else in the books and with these graphics. It would be breathtaking and would do justice for all the previous LOTR themed game instalments.
These devs need to make a LOTR games yes
Also all the common rooms here really look like they belong to all the main four races of Middle Earth.
Gryffindor - Could be part of the castle from Rohan/Gondor
Slytherin - looks straight from the dungeons of Erebor or even the mines of Moria.
Ravenclaw - The High Elves of Rivendell would love it here
Hufflepuff - Home of the Hobbits
Of the Shire
Glad I saw this. Definitely picking Ravenclaw 💛
That aquarium in the living room… I want to be in Slytherin
It’s not an aquarium. It’s underwater windows that view the lake
Despite being the runt of the houses, Hufflepuffs's Common Room looks quite cozy
I 100% prefer this version of the Slytherin common room over the movies. I mean that was such a cliché "dark cellar for bad guys" design. Yes, it is in the dungeons, but slytherins in general were known to be proud and many are descendants of great wizard families - think of Lucius and Draco, I don't think the vain and proud Malfoys would be satisfied with a dark, damp cellar room hidden under the castle. The game version keeps the dungeon feel, but also adds that extra class I missed from the movies, and just makes the whole under the lake concept more apparent.
The Slytherin common room is super dope, I love the music for it and it's just got this calming gothic vibe
Just so everyone knows… Slytherin bathrooms is right next to the common room of Slytherin :) It’s the bathroom/toilet where harry went down to defeat the basilisk
But where would they shower? It seems only ravenclaw students have their own bathroom where they can wash!
Unpopular opinion: Hufflepuff and ravenclaw are the best
The Ravenclaw common room is by far my favourite (which is lucky as I am a Ravenclaw), and I liked how in our dorms younger students sleep in bunks but older students get their own beds. I will say, our dorms felt smaller and darker than the other dorms, but I don't mind it too much.
Yes, we have bathrooms and a rooftop and lots of sun (although they decided to shoot at night and it's not showing). The dorms are definitely lighter than S and H, maybe even than G. And honestly they're all bigger than how I imagined them in the books so I'd say they're all big enough for me.
Ravenclaw is a lot more Art Deco than I expected
It's so pretty. I also love the music.
Samee
Maybe too late, but LOVE to see architects or museum curators' reaction to Hogwarts Castle 🏰.
I wish the common rooms had been that big in the books and movies.
Its like stepping into a whole nother world.
As a Ravenclaw I really like the common room, the astronomy and starry aesthetic is really cool looking, the only issue I have is since Ravenclaw is super high up in one of the towers, I feel like bad weather would be a pain up there
could you make a video showing day/night contrasts in the Common Rooms? I only just discovered they change in the evening. Really interesting, and arguably, even more gorgeous.
We have come a long way! At first we could only play Hogwarts Mystery, even though the graphic wasn't so nice, I must say. At least we could have a little idea of how the common room, how every houses, and how every classes was like. And now we got Hogwarts Legacy, and now we can see full view of our houses and the Hogwarts itself. Trully magnificent 😭💕💕💕
I now can say, that we have finally recieved our Hogwarts acceptance letter. Congratulations, everyone! Enjoy your gameplay and enjoy your days on Hogwarts!
Is there a way to visit the ravenclaw commonroom as a gryffindor?
I have played game 30 hours. You cant do anything in school. You cant even talk with npcs even your housemates. Only in quests. Its so disspointing that they littrly have 0 social things to do.
That was the crunchiest muffin I've ever heard.
i haven't read the books and seen the movies in a while
is the griffindor room the same as before or did it change? (but i did recognise the slide to the girls rooms)
So beautiful
It really gives off that Harry Potter feeling
I kinda wish you’d done the Ravenclaw one during the day time! It’s so bright and crisp and really shows off the blue and silver stars and constellations everywhere much better!
How can you see stars BETTER in the day time?
Ooh I bet it would look just like the perfect airy study room during the day 😊
All of them are nice and clearly have thought put into them. My only gripe is with Ravenclaw and the staircase leading to the dorms. With the dorms being all on different levels AND the only bathroom being at the very bottom, I can see it being a nightmare to navigate in the morning, especially at the beginning of the year

Those doing tours of common rooms should use witch dormitories that way they can see everything
I love the bunk beds!
Gryffindor - a mess
Ravenclaw - simple
Slytherin - gloomy
Hufflepuff - coziest
tbh for such a big school it sure has few beds compared to how many students there are
PERFECT!!!!

Hufflepuffs don’t get bed curtains 😢
My sweet summer child, why is there a pumpkin on your head?

23:01 I can clearly say that I saw Lightning McQueen in that painting
I know the Slytherins and Ravenclaws got annoyed from climbing all those stairs to their common room or bedrooms lol
Gryffindor and Hufflepuff have the coziest rooms and common rooms. Meanwhile Slytherin and Ravenclaw have the most refined looking and regal feeling ones, imo at least.
Omfg the hufflepuff room is SO GORGEOUS. Now i wish I got that house..
