I was ordained in 2006, only to realize that women tend to treat a minister like a gigalo who makes house calls.
I even had a woman 'explain' to me that a minister's job is to minister to the 'needs' of his congregation.
I've been repeatedly shocked at the fact that women with such expectations come from all social classes.
I was asked by a peer from a neighboring church, "How successful do you want your work to be?", implying I should just service the ladies quietly.
Not the situation I expected to be in.

It's OK for a husband to do everything for his wife... as long as she is submitting to him 100% and doing everything that he wants her to do. The women has to do it first and then the man can reciprocate. If the man does it first, it will never work.
Exactly. "Doing everything" in the proper context only means that you take responsibility for everything which is what a leader and a man does. If it appreciated and loyalty ensues, then that's the traditional way.

Narcissistic people seek positions of power. The easiest to get power is the charismatic church. Just have a "revelation" from God and they'll throw you right up on stage, put you in charge of the nursery or head up small groups. Satan has transformed himself into an angel of light.
Because attendance in church is dropping, they will put anybody in charge who is willing to volunteer for the role. Accordingly, the character of your average church goer drops further and the presence of non-Christians in the church goes up.
This has ALWAYS happened in churches (preachers sleeping with members of their congregation). It has nothing to do with simps. It’s a sense of entitlement that comes with authority. It was just swept under the rug. Churches are no better or worse than their members.

I don’t understand what is difficult or wrong about submitting to your husband. When my husband was alive, I loved cooking for him and making him happy. He loved my homemade bread, pies, etc. it did my heart good to see him enjoy my meals, or how I washed and folded his clothes and just made him happy and relaxed. Many times he put the ball in my court for input or suggestions. He took care of our cars, lawns and special runs to the grocery store and he always made me feel safe. We complimented each other. Our strengths, our weaknesses, our pet peeves and our moods. But I always, always, differed to his decisions because sometimes I would get emotional and emotion shouldn’t enter any important decision. I work in bargaining agreements and Union contracts for different unions, and it can be stressful. When he knows we’re in negotiations, he would make us dinner, run me a bath and just be helpful. I miss him terribly. Take care of your men, and you’ll be happier, healthier, and reap the rewards of being a loving wife.
