Suzuka is from Hiroshima, that's her hometown. And one of her grandparents lived through and witnessed the bomb, so it's very important to her. I prefer the craziness too, but I never fault an artist for reaching towards mainstream success. They are earning a living after all.

    Welcome to BabyMetal's metalverse.🦊🤘🌐
Please remember that the Kami Band aren't involved on any of their album tracks, except only one of them is credited on certain songs as a session musician, he's Leda Cygnus.
After almost a month of released their new single "Divine Attack - Shingeki" marking the long time waited return, they just released another great new single "Monochrome" and is a song that expresses a fleeting hope during Ragnarok, which means "doomsday" in Norse mythology, that the starry skies will be wrapped in rainbow colors, all of this under the question which color were the monochrome fireworks lighting up in the night sky, from a children's eyes.
They're making us sure that this song belongs to another world out of 10 in total of their metalverse. This time the theme runs around the Norse mythology and the Ragnarök event, we can also see an artwork which apparently show "Yggdrasil", the Norse tree of life, there's a lot more interesting things related to this tree but in general is representing the life and rebirth of the humankind after a moment of death and chaos, BM fans know that this a recurrent theme on BM lore and is always exciting.
After hearing the lyrics a little bit It could also be related to an historical moment we all know happened in Hiroshima which is also SuMetal birthplace, nice thing you also noticed this post-apocalyptic theme.
I also noticed since a very long time ago they were using the _"Myth"_ title before every different title itself, so that could mean another hint over the concept of this album using different mythologies and their stories represented in each one of their songs, i heard another snippets sets and I can totally see that. In this case they're going with the Norse mythology which is very popular nowadays thanks to videogames like God Of War Ragnarok recently released, or even Attack On Titan (Shingeki No Kyojin) anime series, without giving so much details, which is also a theme many BM fans are relating to the world of "Divine Attack - Shingeki", their first single released.
The sound on this song reminds a little bit of good old hard rock ballad mixed with a touch of heavy metal and some complex drums always in contrast with beautiful SuMetal's vocals, i can also see the hands of Yuyoyuppe on this, he's the songwriter/composer/arranger behind songs like Megitsune, Rondo Of Nightmare, Karate and Kagerou. After watching the credits now there's no doubt is him behind this song.
I like how at the end the lyrics said "Just Smile" and then the colors are back.🙂🌈
Btw sorry for your Amore reaction being blocked, really rare that live compilation being blocked, try the Babymetal Reactor Resource live at Wembley Arena 2016 if you want, normally no one is having any issues with the watermarked logo version.
Kitsune up and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥
    Here's the official lyrics translated:
    *Monochrome*
    Lyrics : MK-METAL
    Music & Arrangement : YUPPEMETAL
The sky decorated in a spectrum of dreams
I wanted to look at it forever
    Even the bright star that
    was shining yesterday
_I don't know what to say._
_I don't know what to say._
    is fading away
    That monochrome
    firework
what color can we imagine the night sky?
Being drenched by the rain and freezing in the night
I wanted to be by your side even just for a little while
The warmth I want to feel
    until tomorrow
_You don’t have to say it._
_You don’t have to say it._
    will vanish eventually
    That monochrome
    firework we will
imagine the night sky in rainbow colors
    During the dusk of Ragnarok,
    what are we to see
No matter how long the night
    the morning will arrive
    That monochrome
    firework we will
illuminate the world in rainbow colors
    Just smile
    :)

I thought it was about the nuclear attack on Hiroshima and Ragnarok was used as a metaphor to explain the series of events that were experienced. Im probably wrong though

I really like the combination of this dark, heavy tone and Su-'s solid soprano vocals. I feel it conveys the message of the song... The theme is a bomb and a black rain? But I am not sure, but got into it! I prefer it to Devine Attack!

This song will resonate mostly with Japanese audiences, because of its meaning. There are lots of comments saying that this isn't the BabyMetal we've grown accustomed to. They are evolving and we can follow along or not.

I Wasn't sure about this one on the first listen BUT the more I listen to it the more I like it. I can't wait to see Su and Moa plus Kami Band perform this LIVE as we all know it will be even better then. I feel like this will be one of the more slower songs despite that hard hitting start to this song. Next few will ramp it up I bet. Plus we need a pure fun song they always seem to hit us with.🤘🦊🤘

Initially, I thought it was a bit meh!

Like when I first heard Elevator Girl as a throwaway, pop track and dismissed it, I didnt delve into the lyrics enough!
Now that ive taken the time, I really appreciate it, more than my first few listens.

I just listened to it too.. Not a bad song... But another CGI video from them. Don't think they have done actually video since their first album. Seems like they are just milking it for every thing left. As for the Kami band.. They don't play on the original album. They just make it better live (East Kamis). Hope they bring back the real kamis and unmasked too. 🤘🏻 🎶

Although "Divine Attack" is musically more appealing to me, this one has some deep lyrics which I'm starting to understand and it's emotionally devastating. I don't dare to share my thoughts about that yet so, I prefer to wait until the next single on January.
