    HOW can this be sorted?? You say go to the doctor but what can they do?? HRT?? I’m on HRT and had my doses increased but the anxiety and breathing problems are back again! I get 2hrs sleep if I’m lucky, my chest hurts because of all the shallow breathing or trying to get a deep breath. The doctors can do nothing and it’s a miserable situation.
    I fully understand now why a lot of women in menopause don’t want to live anymore...

    • @AvogelCoUk
      @AvogelCoUk  4 года назад +3

      Hi Siobhan
      Anxiety attacks could affect the blood pressure so a sudden spike could cause ringing in the ears. High blood pressure is a really common, but often missed, symptom in the menopause so it may be a good idea just to get it checked out. Your local pharmacy should be able to do it rather than trying to get a doctor’s appointment!

    • @AvogelCoUk

      Black Cohosh can be helpful for some women and is often taken for anxiety but it depends how severe the depression is as to whether it would be of benefit. You could always try it for two months to see how you get on.

    Hi i am wondering if your question was for me or Ms A. Vogel. Ok the symptoms she is talking about are all i have been experiencing over the past year BUT! i never knew that they were related to menopause so now that i know i am trying to deal with them or mist of them in a manner i can best. Take for example she said if you start to worry and get anxious often. i now try to get control over them. I try nit to go to bed worrying because if i do i cannot sleep. So i started to s listen to soft or instrumental music and so that help to relax me and put me into sleep mode. I hope you get some help. Oh listen to her advise also they are very helpful .

      Starting the menopause a bit younger is often hereditary so if you know of any other close female relatives who started around the same age then it is possible that you are , indeed, in the menopause!

      Unfortunately, yes, our nervous system can get weakened during the menopause and sometimes it just doesn't bounce back so anxiety symptoms can continue afterwards.
      Anxiety can be caused by a number of factors so not necessarily all the same thing.
