I have followed your channel for years. Always love the peacefulness in your storytelling. Keep the great content coming Tucker. Greetings from Sweden!
Likewise, I too, have been watching for years, and this episode was a refreshing adventure I truly enjoyed! Greetings from Tennessee at the foot of the Great Smoky Mountains. Come see us!
If the Pilgrims had this at Plymouth Rock, we’d be living on Mars by now 😳
If Adam and Eve had wings, there would be no need for mechanical aviation. #completelyuselesscomments
I hope you're doing well Tay ♥️
Might have altered the civil war
@@alextownsend6662 It's too bad they didn't have legs then
Thank you for flying Tucker Airways. Please put your tray table, power bank and cooler in their upright position before landing.
And if you're still enjoying that drink stop enjoying it and start drinking it.
Actually quoting a SW pilot LMAO
Tucker is my favorite RUclipsr and I am inspired to get a paramotor and get some training to learn this amazing hobby. Thank you for sharing Mr. Tucker.
I love this guy
I hear you, paramotoring looks insanely fun
You don't need training.. just WING it!😂😂!
GET IT ? CUZ WINGS FLY ??? AINT I FUNNY
This man is living the dream!
The dude turned his hobby into a profession via RUclips channel now his hobby makes him tons of money and it's his profession😂
I grew up fishing that river with friends living in the town next door, always fun seeing you fly over my old home Tucker.
Where is this located I can't find it on Google earth
@@kevinclow3161 The river is spelled 'Musconetcong'. It's 40 some odd miles long but using a few other clues you should be able to get in the general area at least.
Within walking distance of downtown Asbury, it would appear.
Well now let’s not dox Tucker guys. If you know you know.
I'm sorry I didn't intend to dox tucker I just wanted to see the area on Google maps
Great idea! I bought a smaller Anker power station after your pizza video, and can't wait to review it after a camping trip in 2 weeks. Thanks for all the awesome content!
This might be one of the most unique "sponsored by" videos I've seen this year. Nice work!! @Regretlyss has been showing off what she can do with the Anker battery with her little bus/camping. You two should meet.
That was a slick little camping trip Tucker...all the necessities land with you, easy to set up, So sweet. You know how to live, thanks for sharing!
if you want to do this again with less weight consider the Ecoflow River power station and the Dash Mini griddle. You can cook a burger or eggs on it and it only draws 350W. Looks like you already got the tiny fridge figured out but that huge power station really took up a lot of extra space. You could fit the Ecoflow, fridge, Dash Mini, and your food in less space than just that huge Anker
Hell at that point you might as well bring the kitchen sink or ...fuck it ! just bring a tiny house😂
Not exactly roughing it now are we
@@ClaytonBigsby01 absolutely not roughing it. If the idea of bringing equipment annoys you you would hate to see my suburban. Better mattress than I have at home, custom woodwork interior with shelves, fridge/freezer, microwave, stove/oven, water heater, shower, toilet, 1700W of solar charging 10kw of battery, ac, heat, fan, and R13+ insulation not to mention the gas generator, folding table, starlink internet, rooftop storage, etc. Thats far from roughing it
Question, are you allowed to just land in any field? I thought most of the land would be private. Or do you request permission from landowners before you set out?
I want to know this as well
I’m sure he got permission beforehand or knows the people that own it.
I wouldn't doubt that it was somebody from Anker, or an employee who own's it. It was still cool though.
It's a private airport, basically a grass strip in some guys backyard I think. I live pretty close by and I thought about using it as an LZ until I looked into it
I also want to know. I could see this blowing up in a real negative way if you didn't have permission and you accidently damaged some crops. Looked like those crops were relatively newish. I certainly wouldn't want someone landing a trike on my farm and camping over night.
I've seen some creative ads for stuff. but I hope Anker appreciates that this tops them all.
Tucker, awesome content! Airborne Glamping is truly inspiring and looks very fun! As usual, you are leading the way with new ideas
Awesome video! Thanks for taking us on your excursion!
Wish I could have been with you Tuck ... I do hope your close friend was with you ... Great time it must have been ...thank you for taking us along this way ...
Of course his friend was there. They go camping to re-enact brokeback mountain😂😂
I really love your videos bro ! Im from small country in Europe called "Slovakia" and i send you greetings from there :D Be happy in your life Tucker ! :)
Love these videos and the exploring vibe … do you need to worry about trespassing? Or did you have permission from the land owner? (How does that work in the US?)
My question exactly! That was a corn field, right?
@@pkane5472yes you definitely have to get permission😂. Land is privately owned in the majority of the US. But an accidental landing isn't going to get you in trouble people are reasonable for the most part
What an adventure! Clearly, powered paraglamping rules!
OMG, PARAGLAMPING !!! The outrageousness of this gives me such a big smile! : )
Oh me as well! I love all of this guys videos!!! :)
Congratulations. I never ever manage to watch an entire RUclips vid without skipping parts but I did watch this video from beginning to the end.
Kinda looks like the Beverly hillbillies setup.
Imo this is way cooler than flying into McDonald's. Looks like a great time.
Wow, I'm surprised at how well that grill worked. When the meat hit and was immediately sizzling I knew it'd be pretty gud.
always loved that paramoters just look like a seat attached to a slightly larger ceiling fan.
I live in a trike down by the river, great line for a motivational speaker! (Ancient SNL reference). Thanks for posting
One the absolute BEST of SNL!!
I occasionally use that line, "...or you'll end up livin' in a trailer down by the river...".
Tucker, that's very cool! You need to be able to extend your camping time with that power system, by looking into roll-up solar panels, to charge the battery with, once you're at your "glamping" destination. No clue as to how many panels you'd need to fully charge up, during the day, but I do know panels have become way more efficient, these days. You've dealt with solar on your van, before, so you already know what you need, I'd think. You just need to track down roll-up panels you could temp-stow under your trike's length, and deploy on arrival. Instead of using the grill, except for an emergency, maybe, consider using MRE esbit stoves, or flameless ration heaters for cooking. This will drastically extend your battery's longevity, and greatly reduce the amount of time needed to fully charge, each day. Thanks for sharing this with us, Tucker. :)
There are lightweight water powered electric generators, too. Camping near a river or stream in the Pacific NW is easy since we have them everywhere, but we don't always get sunshine. Secure the turbine in the current and you've got a small hydroelectric system that can charge devices 24/7. Wind power is also possible, but windy conditions aren't suitable for paramotoring as we all know.
Awesome!! Love the freedom of being able to fly in/out. Suggestion? Catch and cook. You don't need anything other than your tent, a rod, and a small pan with a gas powered camping stove. Lighter, more challenging
Dude! What an epic Adventure! That Take Off out off the farm was So Dope!!!
That is exactly what I'd like to be able to do in the Pacific Northwest near my home.
Some Epic point A to point B "flying" with some light camping gear is a great idea, Tucker.
Powered parasails are the lightest of bush planes.
I've backpacked in "the wilderness" in places I with adequate landing zones.
Some bush tires (larger diameter balloon tires) might expand the landing and take-off capability over rougher terrain.
I'm not sure what you Pacific northwesterners call light camping but this guy's got a fucking REFRIGERATOR 😂😂😂😂
@@ClaytonBigsby01 Light to me would be like backpacking.
Tucker knows the weight capacity of his wing & is having fun experimenting.
If you can fly it or bring it, why not?
@@ClaytonBigsby01 Tucker had the useable load capacity, so he had fun bringing all the cool stuff. I've backpacked with 50 to 80 pound backpacks, depending on distance. Flying with it and landing gear, . . ideal.😀👍
Very, very cool adventure! Good use of resources and great fly-in camp. I only get to watch adventures like this, but I also have a smaller version of a battery/generator. If you were out several days, could you take a solar panel? Good stuff.
And I've always admired your emphasis on safety.
You can go Camping too. it doesn't cost a fortune
Love it! My whole channel is about flying places, camping and cooking good food! Welcome to the club!
What a fantastic adventure! Did you film the flying with a drone?
Looking forward to more adventures. 🇬🇧
I think he uses a 360 degree camera on a long selfie stick
@GeneralD187 Oh, that's so cool. Thanks for the info.
Yeah, much better to camp with the trike than just using your regular foot launch paramotor, you can carry so much more. My suggestion is go camping with your friends again. Though if you do and if one of them has a trike paramotor, you can bring even more supplies and do a multi-day trip that way.
The epitome of flying - freedom. This has got to be one of the coolest ways to put flying a trike to use!
Add nature to the equation, in my books, doesn't get much better.
Awesome setup with that power station, glamping indeed! 😄👌
This video was cooler than expected! Glad I clicked
That was fun! Well done Tucker!
i still remember the island camping video a couple months back and this is like the second camping video since then. i really hope you make more camping videos using paragliding.
This was so awesome. Such a fantastic trip. I've done a lot of wilderness camping trips similar to this but they've all been ground-based and done with my mountain bike. Doing it with a paramotor is just next level. 👍👍👍👍
The technology in power banks are so awesome now. I've got a few different setups that keep me "in power" all the time. This has inspired me to set up my trike like this... para-glamping! ha ha
AND you can get to places no one will disturb you - like a deserted island. Heaven!
Sweeeeet! This is the life!
More of this before summer is over; next time bring some of your wild and crazy friends 👌
I love doing paracamping here in Argentina. Never carry so much weight because I fly foot lanch. Very good adventure, Nice video
Montana would love to see you again, when are you going to stop in next? Try Three Forks this time!
Now that is a great way to advertise a product!
Absolutely love when you do some backcountry ish bush type of flying and mix it in with camping thanks for taking us along for these epic adventures! 🤙🏼
Fun vid, Tucker. Thanks for taking us along.
You should customize a plastic type tote to make it easy to pack all that gear...the trike holds alot to weight...so bolt in a container and off you go tripping to your next camp ground ....sell the container idea and have a meet up with other trikers out in the wild....good job 👍👍
I love this kind of content. Has a sense of adventure. Am still hoping you will do some crazy across the States tour or up to Alaska and back. You asked for ideas 💡😂 didn't you?
Awesome! just a thought, maybe put a little parachute on the heavy equipment, just in case you get a in a bad spot and have to drop ballast
Bad idea, the trike is balanced with that weight. If you remove the weight in flight it will become unbalanced. The nose will be up, the prop direction will no longer be horizontal, which will lead to bad things.
This may well open up some winter flying. you can run a small heater and or power your gloves/vest for longer trips. You would have to fashion a small shroud to direct the heat but that would be an interesting endeavor.
or devise a fairing to keep the wind off him.
Man! Tucker I wish you accepted my invite to our camping trip! We were at 3PA4. You were in Iceland on that date if I remember correctly... we have since lost the property. No fear though! Looking for new property to continue our tradition! Lol
Awesome adventure and just curious who’s land are you camping on? Is that just a random field? He landed in? I see that there was a landing strip or is that just the farmers strip that he uses to travel between crops?
This vid is crazy fun!!! Great promo for the power supply BUT the versatility of the “old dude” paramotor/dune buggy is epic! Perfect wheel wash technique on the approach. Ain’t no mud in that truck bed. Think keen, eat green and keep that dad burn truck bed clean!
Thats so awesome, I plan to do alot of Paracamping this year! I love your ideas, you are always so creative!
Were you trespassing or did you have permission from the landowner? No judgement here. I like to watch Steve Wallis' stealth camping videos and, though not too stealthy an approach, this was way cooler in many ways. I'm glad to see that you packed out your trash.
Your honestly living my dream this is crazy props to you
Don’t give up. I spent years watching tucker vids before life gave me the opportunity to get a setup. It’s an addictive sport/hobby.
I won’t!
Get yourself a food sealer, you can make your own catsup packets.mayo packets, mustard packets , pickle , packets , miracle whip packets , put a few of each in a zip lock bags. Maybe even bbq sauce packets too
Best commercial ever! Love your adventures and enthusiasm. Always a great vid! Props my dude✌😁🤙
Omg, I alway imagined paragliding camping, but w/ basic camping. Here U r, camping w/ paragliding. Love yur tent w/ the vestibule. Thx 4 sharing yur adventures on Utube.
Anker should send you two or three more units as appreciation for the amount of effort and time you put into this video.
If I could make a recommendation, You could bring an air horn with you to scare a bear away if you happened to need to and or bring some bear spray with you.
Para camping is just undeniably cool.
When I was in the Marine Corps we called that a Expeditionary Airfield!
How about an air-to-air fly-in. Air in which to fly the paramotor and air to inflate (using Anker & pump) a kayak, raft or inner tube. You can float down a river (one that circles around on itself to minimize walk back (or bring big wheel?) or paddle around in a lake. Down the road, learn to scuba dive and do an air-to-air fly-in and river, pond or lake dive. The tank would likely have to be something less than an Al-80 or don't bring the Anker. Keep your altitude down after diving to minimize chance of decompression sickness but totally do-able. Maybe a fly and fly-fish? Great vid! Thank you.
Man, who knew a 15 minute ad with lots of product placement could be this entertaining! 😀
Two words: ketchup packet 😂😂😂 sweet vid. Need more glamping episodes
I love the term you coined (Paraglamping). My mother, who is a Martha Stewart type, would be all about this. I love these types of videos.
Mini fridge on a paramotor! You’re defining what it means to fly cool. 😂
The next evolution in Van Life. Good call on the EQ beverage choice.
I've been eyeing that Anker system to use my GeoPro camper fully off-grid. Now that i know theres about to be a sale, gonna have to snag one! I'll use your link as a thank you for convincing me to get my own paramotor 2 years ago 👍
Love the content. Here's what I would do... trade the ground tent for a hammock tent possible to get better sleep and off the ground. Biolite camp stove and camp mess kit and rid yourself of the appliances other than the fridge thats genius( I know that was for the ankor test). Life straw for drinking water.
I have the Anker PowerHouse 555, it’s great for camping or emergency power.
The more I watch your videos the more comfortable I feel. My palms used to get so sweaty just watching theese types of videos cuz im terrified of heights but your so professional and calm sounding and very sure of the hobby/mode of transportation.
Any advice to someone whos affraid of heights but slowly getting over it because this looks too fun. Im 33 and want to actually live and experience life and not vicariously through media. I want to try this myself. But don't know where to start.
Para-glamping has a nice ring to it. I've always been envious of people who go bush-plane camping. I've been brain-storming a paramotor camper ever since I saw that video of the guy para gliding on a couch with a TV. Couches, TVs, and batteries are all really heavy things, I bet I could integrate a practical shelter into a trike. Sort of like those bike trailer campers.
ANKER should send you a foldable solar panel to test recharging Power Station during the day via solar. That morning shot was the look of a rough nights sleep.....all for Content creation! nice job!
Quite funny how you headed for a closed door with the power pack when the big doors were wide open..! Lol 😆😆😁
A regular camp stove and cooler makes so much more sense for this, but I'm glad you got to play with your Anker thing.
Good stuff. That cheese burger you made was perfect, don't spoil it with ketch-up.
Ketch-up is the devil's sweat.
The best paramotor videos are camping trips. There are some good ones on RUclips. Please do more.
This brings to mind something my dear old dad used to say to me:
"There's a difference between scratching your ass, and tearing it all to shreds."
You know the neighbors? Is the area private property?
yea was looking for this. I'm sure he's smart enough to know the person or at least ask permission. I ATV in rural areas and some land owners are welcome to riding on their trails just have to make the right call so could be what he did here. because otherwise that's pretty much just blatant trespassing and not okay.
Those power stations are great but, for a Paramotor back country camp out, you need to weight weenie the whole thing and make your Tucker bag super light. Ever think of a way to do a flexible solar panel make like a ducted fan around the prop?
You should consider doing "trail magic" on on of the three continental trails (AT, CDT, PCT). Trail magic is providing thru hikers with food and supplies on the trail. The PCT (Pacific Crest Trail) is over 2,000 miles in the most rugged desolate areas in the country. The AT (Appalachian Trail) is much closer and has the "hundred mile wilderness" that is very remote.
This is just like Jiggin's catch and cook videos. Love it.
More camping videos please, ther eonly thing missing from this one was the wood campfire itself.
U brought like three beers please can we do this together camping after a great day. I would love to try
Love your stuff! Corner of a corn field with a pre-mowed landing strip = Wildnerness? HA!!! Keep on keeping on, brother!
Dam looks out there. Cant believe no one stopped you looks like it could be a farm or something.
I don't know how much aptitude you have for diy engineering, but it'd be cool if you recharge your Anker SOLIX while flying by putting a mini wind turbine on your trike connected to a basic little car alternator. It could easily put out as much energy as a car moving down the highway at an equal speed to your paramotor. The alternator has copper coils in it and a magnet that mechanically spins on a rod that would be powered by the mini wind turbine. You'd probably need a heat-sink cover to clip over it to keep it cool to the touch and safe in the air, but it would charge your Anker SOLIX just like a car does it's own battery while running. Come to think of it, if you could attach an alternator to the paramotor with a small rubber belt, like a 4-cylinder engine's timing belt, then you could use the paramotor itself to recharge your Anker SOLIX.
As much as I enjoy the BASE jumping and sketchy Alibaba paramotor adventures you have, my favorite videos you make are the ones where you do something like fly to McDonalds with your paramotor or camp somewhere like this one. I think you should do an epic trip where you hop from camp to camp site over the course of 3 - 5 days!
I've been subscribed since before your Icarus win and always enjoy these. Thanks!
Add some solar panels and a little extra food and you could go for a longer time camping, or multiple hops.
You should do a camping trip on the paramoder more survival style. Maybe use your wing as a tarp maybe bring a fishing Pole and you can only eat fish that you catch.
I rarely comment but love this vids :D
You should totally do a off grid beach island paracamping trip like a lil weekend thing, that would be awesome you could fly around looking for school of fish and stuff like that lol
Discarding the weight of the battery and the related, tech for lightweight backpack/camping gear and supplies, you could really set up for a multi-day back country fishing trip -- at least that's how I view the trike, and what I would do. The trike set up could be used like a flying packhorse, especially the ones rated for two people, just figure the weight of the gear + extra fuel for a long trip.
Around here that's called trespassing and ya might get shot..........LOL Great vid young man. Keep em coming.
Just a few corns 🌽 were harmed in the making of this video...😂 technology is incredible 👏
As a farmer, I have now added paramotor pilots to my list of creatures on the crop damage list! 😆😎🤠 note- I'm a ppg pilot and have damaged a few 🌽 myself. Lol
Paraglamping, love it! (I would be tempted to stick a light blue W in front of the name)
Very cool video, thanks. Your future video needs to be with your buddies. That way you can divvy up the supplies and do an entire weekend or maybe even get in a three day weekend. Add in a few base jumps for variety. I don't know if you could add in a blow up kayak and go downriver --logistics getting back would be a bear. Keep up the amazing videos!!
Great video Tucker, love an epic fly\camping trip. keep them coming.
Magnificent, my man. That was an inspired way to have a good time, check out some new gear and test whether you would like to do it again. It semed that it is was good. Next time, maybe an inflatable mattress - you certainly have bulk energy to blow up the inflatable mattress. Maybe next time, and inflatable mansion. Wouldn't that be neat.?????? Onward and upward. Baby.
