Hello, thanks for asking the question. The idea behind the slide is to showcase the relative advantage & disadvantage of CFD over other testing methods. While we understand your point, if you listen to what the presenter is stating, he mentiond that while wind tunnel and road testing might be very accurate, they might be relatively costlier than CFD testing. Sir, so equation is important, sir while simulation time how many softwares, and how many equations are use in analysing time
It varies from problem to problem. To get an approximate estimate, take the number of governing equations (Mass, momentum and energy) and multiply it with number of computational cells and multiply the result by the number of time steps.

What type of software is used in CFD?
Ansys is one the software uses cfd
FloMASTER & FloEFD can be used...
Matlab & OpenFOAM are also used
Ansys matlab hypermesh solidwork FEA and other FEM softwares

Take intrest the subjects dealing with fluid and thermal... try to take deep analysys and finally ur base will be done for cfd
