Teddy was the reason big bang catapulted to the top during there early years, and the rise of Y.G in the second gen, he has a trade mark sound that only few and very close friends of teddy's can produce, the only other Y.G producer that has had as much success as him is brave brothers. Although since 2011 his formula has become repetitive at some points (think I am the best, bang bang bang, duu du duu du, kill this love, birthday cake) he can keep it fresh still and I hope he continues on the road that he laid out for blackpink with lovesick girls, I also hope he dosent forget his own artist because Somi is very very popular and she can achieve and take his label to new heights.
But I hope YG also hires new producers so not every song sounds the same. Like something JYP does. He has some inhouse producers, but also hires songs from other producers like he got a Zara Larsson song for Twice. This will give YG artists some variety, but some songs will give the same vibes since they use inhouse producers too.

I'd say structurally he isn't experimentive but in that aspect, there are several songs which follow the same structure of- "the intro, verse 1, prechorus, chorus, 2nd verse, again prechorus and chorus, bridge and final chorus". This is infact the standard pop structure that classical musicians also consider to be boring bcoz most songs follow it. I hear some criticisms that teddy's style has started to become repetitive and I somewhat agree but I think that's due to the nature of pop music. I'd like for teddy to work with a new group/solo artist that are more indie/experimental. I think that would help keep him fresh.

I recognize him but bigbang is not fully depend on teddy. They also contributing of produce and arrange their song like if you check their songs you can see the member are there in producer line even there is other song that fully produced by them especially GD such as lies and haru2 were produced by GD and it was huge hit that korean people still love it until now

I'd say structurally he isn't experimentive but in that aspect, there are several songs which follow the same structure of- "the intro, verse 1, prechorus, chorus, 2nd verse, again prechorus and chorus, bridge and final chorus". This is infact the standard pop structure that classical musicians also consider to be boring bcoz most songs follow it. If you call teddy for not being creative enough just bcoz of his song "formula" then might as well roast all pop producer who follow the standard pop structure then>_-
