In this part 2 video I give a working demonstration of my raspberry pi controlled, TB6612FNG using lead screw door opener. I demonstrate it opening and closing with the stopping points controlled by limit switches.
If you are interested in the code running on the raspberry pi, each of the scrips I'm executing have been uploaded to github here: github.com/dar...

Nice job. Did you consider putting a sensor on the door to detect if a duck was stuck between it and the door casing. Seems your door will continue to close until the upper sensor is clicked.

you mean something like a motion sensor or light beam? sure, but he could also attach an air raid siren warning the ducks, then it is their own fault if they get decapitated...

You need squisyhguard! Hatchlings can be stupid...Sliding door pulled with a rope secured on a motorshaft. Feed that rope through a hose(sleeve&cable); you can have a limitswitch in a corner. As the rope meets resistance going through the hose in a 90degree bend it will pull the hose in from the corner. Pythagoras etc so your limitswitch goes where the rope pulls the hose to (against some springtension that holds the cables/sleeves inplace).
This should allow for a more friendly door!

hi and thanks for all your great video tutorials! I wanna order some modchips for making a few consoles for myself and my family/friends.
I have a Trinity, and I plan to get some more Jaspers.
There's so many modchips, which would you recommend for Trinity or Jasper? ACE 3, ACE 5, Matrix v1, Matrix v3, Coolrunner ref C... (I'll be ordering from chipchopmod co uk).

P4RADIGM this topic is a little out of context in this topic, but send an email to the guys at chipchopmod and they will suggest the correct mod chips. I think either matrix or coolrunner are best for PHATs.. but they also have the other stuff you’ll need for modding. Good luck!

@@alankerrigan thanks. what is best for Trinity? can I use the same chips or better an ACE 3/5 (seen that one on another channel modded). I would like to get same chips for both consoles, but if another chips is really better of course I will have to buy 2 different chips...
