The craziest thing about this one is that her dad was still in the lake. They knew that's how and where he died. They (authorities) wouldn't just leave someone's body in the lake.
I wish they had done an installment where the surviving final girls from each flick got together and went after Jason. My favorites from this series are 1 and 2, and then JASON LIVES, THE NEW BLOOD, JASON GOES TO HELL: THE FINAL FRIDAY and FREDDY VS. JASON.
This film was heavily censored so most of the gore was removed. For instance, the sleeping bag kill was supposed to be a number of hits on the tree, but ended up just one. (This one is my fav in the series. The next one... No. No.)
This is probably my favorite Friday the 13th. Adding the telekinesis aspect makes it stand out, and makes for an interesting showdown at th end. I also think this is peak Jason. The costume design on him in this movie is amazing.
Spoiler alert: My theory on why Jason keeps coming back to life is because he never truly dies. In the second third and fourth movie Jason was simply a mutant but after he died he became a deadite which are evil spirits that possess people from the Evil Dead franchise. So any death Jason suffers after the fourth movie is only temporarily due to my theory of Jason being a deadite which must be chopped up into pieces or buried which also explains why he stayed dead up into Tommy uncovered his body.
The movies do the recaps because there was no home video back in the day so the last time people saw a movie was in the theater, so it’s just to remind people of what happened last. I saw someone else explain that a couple of videos back.
This one is in my top 4 favorites of the series, so the thing with the final 6 films of this series is that they're all extremely unique whereas the first 6 all felt very similar. Part 8 is not in my top 4 favorites but i still love it, despite the hate it gets.
More than any other Friday the 13th movie, the MPAA really killed this movie. They were cracking down hard on slasher movies at the time. The director of this movie was a guy that worked on practical effects and that was his specialty. So he designed a lot of cool looking prosthetics for the kills and wasn’t allowed to use them. The blu ray release has some of the extended versions of the kills and they mostly look very cool but they barely showed any of the kills for longer than a split second in the final edit of the movie.
The guy who played the doctor (Terry Kiser) is in the comedies, WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S (1989) and WEEKEND AT BERNIE'S II (1993). I find those two flicks stupidly hilarious! Think about checking them out.
This is one of my all-time favorite Friday the 13th sequels it is freaking crazy and it's an awesome idea I love how Jason reacts to her powers and stuff when she tries to kill him and his facial and head movements make it so funny cuz he's so confused on why this person can kill him like that it's awesome awesome movie❤ I wish they would have done a sequel to this one bring her back for round two Jason versus her with the powers would be awesome❤ Oh yeah my favorite other sequel is coming up next number eight in the franchise Jason takes Manhattan interesting plot interesting idea another one of my favorites❤

Paramount still wanted a film where Jason fought someone & decided on making a Carrie type character. Her abilities are more than just moving stuff, she's got visions & yea she can manifest stuff too but it looks like it weakens her. He would go on to play Victor Crowley in the Hatchet films. This was called by the crew FriGAY the 13th because most of the men were gay. There's not much chemistry between Nick and Tina & that's likely why. Tina doesn't know about Jason because remember in F13th 6 the place was called Forrest Green so they could forget all that. So between Part 4-6 was at least 8yrs. Her family moved there after Jason was defeated & it has been at least 7 years since then. This is one of my favorite films despite the plot holes. My top 5 are F13th 2019 (it utilized the story from Parts 1-4 perfectly & makes Jason scary again) F13th 6 (has a nice conclusion for Tommy, we first get Zombie Jason, deaths were cool) F13th 7 (Introduces us to Kane Hodder, love this look for Jason, great deaths despite the MPAA cuts & Carrie vs Jason) JGTH (Thought outside the box, givea us actual characters not just forgettable ones, cool Jason look) F13th 2 (I liked this one more than part 1, it gives a backstory a bit more mythology & the deaths are great)

This is the first movie with Kane Hodder Jason. His Jason has more of buff look and he played Jason like 4 times straight.
