Roger's voice is unbelievable! Everybody thinks that the highest notes were sung by Freddie, but Roger was able to sing at much higher notes than Freddie was. Freddie had a bright and strong voice color with sharp mid and high tones which was sizzling when singing powerful, Roger's was much brihgter in highest soprano notes, and Brian's was softy and emotional, not powerful but he was more successful in mid and bottom notes. Possibly the best combination of 3 great voices!
Polyphonic backing vocals, one of the most important things which made the Queen Queen. In 1974, when Killer Queen single was released, a stupid journalist stated "With garnishing the production by each type of multi-track vocals, Queen hopes we won't realize how bad their music is". I wonder what was on his mind when he listens to Bo-Rap or this masterpiece "Somebody to love" :D
actually, it was both! a lot of people think that Brian sang all the low notes and Roger all the highs, but Freddie also sings some of them and you can hear it in this song
