Hey Nikhil....You did a great job presenting Zoho Notebook ! I am a new user coming from Evernote which I have stopped using because of it price and Google Keep which is nice but very basic. I really love the way Zoho Notebook is presented and the fonctionnalities it has. Zoho even produces some tools retrieving notes and notesbooks from Evernote and Google Keep too ! That is simply awesome. By the way I am looking for some videos to help me comprehend the way to organise the new imported notes and notebooks from both providers into Zoho Notebook. So if you could recommend something, i'll be mostly grateful. And before ending, i would like to say that you have in me a new subscriber ! Keep on the good work !
I also use Zoh Notebooks & have tried most other possibilities. It is SO good. I needed help on one share issue and they were very impressive in their follow up. I also like Bundled notes, with their Kanban option. I'd love if Zoho had the option to have shelves (or folders), so that I could cluster similar notebooks together in groups. Rather than just one long list of them. But, its really good.
@@lyricsassam I can't see folders?? I wish I could put all my travel notebooks on 1 shelf(have ten or so of them eg Travel USA / Travel Asia etc). All my IT note books on one shelf etc etc. Maybe I'm missing something? Still love the product anyhow
@@alancousins9595 Ok, I get it, but just to clarify. Notebooks are the primary folders, then inside a notebook you can create groups(kinda like folder). So you can possibly make a Travel notebook, and inside set up different groups for different places you travelled. Hope this helps.
I have been using Zoho Notebooks for many years now and LOVE it, except for the fact that I cannot stack information. They have added a lot of capabilities, and I am learning more and more features, but I do need folders inside the notebooks. I even upgraded and paid a very small fee because of how much I appreciated them. But PLEASE create a folder system. I have become overwhelmed. But it is SO GOOD. I use it every day without fail. And because it lives in the cloud and does not penalize you regardless of how many devices you log in with it ; Notebook has saved me much stress when I could not access any other app I could count on It. I rely on NOTEBOOK. I don't think I realized how much no one knew about it.
Great video, spot on all points (except Google Keep not having the collab feature, it does). I switched from google keep to notebook for the very reasons you mentioned. There is some bug with their GK migration tool, and followed up with Zoho team for six months.. They were kind enough to respond to each of my emails but didn't do anything about it. finally, i had to import my 2000+ keep notes in 10+ batches. the only thing I want to see now in Zoho is OCR/handwriting recognition as I take a lot of handwritten notes in my Samsung Note.
I currently use and like Keep. I do lots of quick short notes and really like the checkbox lists. I am trying to assess if I need OneNote. It seems to have good features and works with a structure of folders and subfolders like MS File Explorer. My question is about OneNote. Currently I work projects or tasks as a folder in Explorer or OneDrive. I keep all files on a "task or project folder" (spreadsheets, word docs, PDFs, photos, CNC programs, etc). What can OneNote do for me that I don't get by using OneDrive with folders. OneDrive has the cloud storage and ability to share with others. I like having all files on one project or task in a single location/folder and not have to open another application to get notes, etc. Any comments would be appreciated.
I'm currently loving onenote for its organising capabilities. Whether you want to use it as a second brain or develop projects, it is a good option. For me, a note taking app is great as long as it has: 1. Syncing capabilities 2. Multiple Organising Layers 3. Intuitive UI 4. Speed Onenote has all that. Though, it might be lacking a bit in UI. (Well, the latest onenote desktop UI looks good, but also cartoonish. They have messed up text proportions. Ugh.) So, I'm sticking with onenote for windows 10 version.
@@blood_n_guts_murphy I've tried many note apps (like notion, obsidian, bubble notes, etc), but now I'm in love with Onenote. Haven't tried Zoho, but Onenote is all I need rn. It can handle huge tables with ease, has a mega canvas, sync, excellent hierarchy option, etc all for free.
So zoho notebook is everything I need as a Evernote user. However the export functions are so bad, you are locking yourself in once you have all your notes in zoho, there is no way back. You cannot import any note in any other software ever again. This is unfortunately a deal-breaker for me and I already subscribed as a pro user but will cancel my sub next month. On Mac at least the save to pdf function is so bad, it only saves the first page of your note, or if you use many large images in your note, it will cut them in half and paste them weirdly in your pdf. Another dealbreaker for me because I need to share via pdf frequently. I tried creating a public link and export that to PDF but it's also looking very broken and is unusable unless your note is tiny and fits on one page. 😢😢😢
Thanks for the very informative video. I have thousands of Evernote apps. Can Zoho handle them without grinding to a halt? Have you migrated from Evernote to Zoho. Did you like the result?
Thanks for reviewing this, I don't see many productivity channels reviewing Zoho Notebooks. I'd looked into it before and it instantly reminded me of Google Keep, but with notebook view. I couldn't get into it however, maybe because it feels so much like Keep that it just doesn't execute the "notebook" aspect well enough for me? But I want to try it again since it seems the company is adding more features to it.
Thank you for this video. I wanted to switch to Zoho Notebook but I ran into a problem it was having synchronizing. A question. Is anyone else having the following issue and is there a fix? Zoho Notebook would sometimes have trouble knowing which version to keep. I would work on a note on 2 different devices and Zoho Notebook would ask me which one it should save. Why does the software not know to keep the version that was worked on most recently? And when it asks me which of the two I want to save, it doesn't give me enough info so I am confused about which one I should tell it to save.
