I have watched this transformation from the beginning. It is getting really exciting seeing it all come together. You have worked so hard getting everything done right. It is truly a labor of love for your family.
When figuring out placement of sinks, tubs etc. I HIGHLY recommend using a cardboard template to scale then move it around to see where everything goes. It will save you a lot of time, trust me.
You are an affirmation of the very best of America: modest, hard-working, visionary and optimistic. Thank you for restoring our faith in your country. The whole world needs your better angels.
Yes, the "Can-Do" Spirit used to be synonymous with the American Spirit ....which after all started with the Pioneers crossing the prairie to start farming the land which was no small undertaking ...it took a lot of faith & a lot of hard work ...many were originally from Europe, but other places too. @@marysutherland8570
You will absolutely LOVE your in-floor heat! As for the water line that is high on the kitchen wall, I believe it is so Heather can fill tall pots with water, as when cooking pasta.
I never tire of your shots of the valley and village! What a dream to be able to look out your windows and see that view every day. Your progress is mind-blowing! "Watch & learn" is a good thing....since you watched the install, if issues arise in the future you will know 'what's behind the walls'. My guess is also a pot filler spicket.
When I was growing up my dad endowed all of his discipline and work ethic to his 1st born daughter. To this day I can relate with Brady digging the stone floor up by hand, all the heavy pieces. My dad made me do flower beds around our 2 story house from weed pulling to planting flowers, and the heavy 30 bags of mulch, and the 2nd day I would do the other side of the house but he would help. I dreaded it! I'm definitely not missing an episode, I'm an absolute fan, thanks for another video guys! Also, the floor heating sounds SO much better than regular ventilation. Coming from Louisville, KY. You guys are both SO intelligent and patient to be checking these boxes that are in a different language! There is SO much work behind the scenes.
None of this is boring...inquiring minds what to know! I hate seeing you have to undo your work. Plumbers!!! These guys are not your normal plumbers!!! Team is right, they are fantastic. Take a breather Bradey you deserve it.
Thank you Brady for all the info. This house will be for ever and very cosy and very smart. Good luck, Heather will do the interior decorating. Bi bi ❤❤❤❤
You are at such an exciting stage of the build! As you said, it's turning into a home and the end is in sight. You always seem to find wonderful contractors. Something I learned on another channel today... If hot and cold water pipes cross each other, Legionnaire's ?bacteria? can form in the pipes. Apparently the cold pipes have to be insulated so that the hot water doesn't cool enough and the cold water can't warm enough to grow the bacteria. Interesting! Have a wonderful week. Can't wait to see what's up next week. Enjoy!!
I just love watching when another guy can do guy stuff. So many younger kids today are shying away from working with their hands. I grew up just knowing how to change a tire, use hand tools, etc...you almost thought it was thru osmosis that guys learned that stuff, but no, it was because every guy, whether he was an office worker or a tradesman, learned the basics watching other adult men. Even a lot of girls became handy like that (I know quite a few of my age group that can turn a wrench, change a tire etc...). So good to see Brady and Heather teaching their girls to not fear using their hands and do such work.
I have so enjoyed these videos for quite a few months now, and realise how the frustrations can get to us. Maybe you need a little break for a few days.
Bradey, Heather your home is coming together. God bless your plumbing Crew and Family's. God bless you Bradey, Heather, Alexa, Chloe. God bless your Family's.
Brady, what is your square footage in inches and in metric? I can not tell your family how much vicarious joy and excitement it is to follow your work, joys and challenges. I have restored many historic houses; still continuing on our 1854 house. However, your vision, subsequent work and homework, while daily living and working alongside with your highly skilled "Dream teams, is awe inspiring! Your technical knowledge, learned new skills, and conversational trade knowledge, and respect towards your subcontractors is an excellent example for all of us who watch your channel. It is time for me to get back to work. Bravissimo!
the pipe to a high point is to allow for a spigot over the stove, so you can fill pots etc while they are on the stove. While you are at it, add another high point to allow for filling of a "Berkey" water cooler/filter.
I did hundreds of interior hospital remodels over the years. Rough plumbing was always a challenge (we had various gases, de-ionized water and acid resistant (glass pipes) to deal with as well as all the regular stuff. Thoroughly enjoying your remodel. It’s a real exciting time now… you can almost smell the finishes! Well done. Oh. A pot faucet. I think.
It is turning out to be a beautiful house. Don't worry about not doing anything and enjoy being able to watch them work. I always take advantage of the moments that other professionals have doing jobs like mine or jobs from different professions, to learn from the details that they do when working and perhaps at some point, I can apply some of that knowledge... I also usually ask them questions like a curious child, if there is something that catches my attention. Greetings from Barcelona.

The highlight of my Sunday is viewing your update. Fabulous work, and quite amazing! Thank you for sharing your journey with people around the world! I'm in Port Orange, Florida. Blessings to all of you!❤
I'm sure you already know about this but it happened to us with an experienced Japanese building crew and so wanted to share. Our home was a business owner's vacation home. Each of his stores, and his vacation home/our home was built by one designer and contractor. I'm sure this designer's livelihood rested on the prior owner and so, our structure is safely in bedrock. However, one thing that they messed up big time was how they put flooring in on top of the heated floors using water - like your system. Our wood flooring was so damaged that we replaced it. When we replaced it, our contractor discovered that the wood flooring was nailed into the water piping, piercing the pipes and the water was leaking when we turned on the heater. This not only caused the wood to be damaged but our electricity bills was through the roof when we used the floor heaters. So, whoever puts your flooring down, please be careful not to hit any of the water pipes. Love your videos as always. I loved your last one of building out the window frames because I kept getting to see your views aaaaawwwwww. I'll write in the prior video tooooo
You guys are awesome! I found you when you were digging out the stone on the bottom floor by hand to get it to the right depth😳…when it was just you, Heather and the girls…the transformation is amazing, inspiring…masterful craftsmanship! Congratulations and I can’t wait to see the bathroom and your outdoor patio when they are complete.

I think the mystery pipe is for a pot filler above the stove.
My guess too!
Dido
Agreed
You are correct.
It would be so handy there for herb garden and canning too.
Yup, my thought exactly. So I looked here & saw I wasn’t the only one who also thought the same. Cheers all! ❤😊
Brady’s got lil Italian hand gestures now 🥹😂

Well stated. Others like him have left the US too. Decline.

The high piping in the kitchen is a pot filler for the stove! Love it
I believe it is called a hydronic heating manifold box.
I believe you are looking for the word manifold for the junction of all the plumbing.
I so much admire your patience and tenacity. I love your home.
Couldn't agree more ❤❤❤
Always good when electricity and plumbing is properly installed. Move in date is getting closer.
You will absolutely LOVE your in-floor heat! As for the water line that is high on the kitchen wall, I believe it is so Heather can fill tall pots with water, as when cooking pasta.
It is so nice to see you acomplishing every thing with the translation.
Such progress, all coming together and can now visual how gorgeous and unique your home will be.
How wonderful to see your progress, how far you all have come with your renovations. Your tenacity and determination is inspiring.

Pasta spicket over the stove for filling the large pasta pots.
The tall pipe is for a pot filler over the stove. I love seeing the progress you've made. I can't wait to see your home completed.
What will you do once you move in? Hope you can keep projects coming for all of us cheering you on❤❤❤❤

Wow, that was intense. Another major step to the finish line. God bless.
You’ve built up the bones of the house and now it’s exciting to see the veins snake through and find their place.
A lot of work left but it's really looking great, I can imagine living there! Very exciting! 💛
When your headline said “plumbing begins” my first thought was “yes,”, it’s becoming a real house now🎉
Brady, this house is a wonder! What an incredible guy you are. Every woman deserves a Brady 😊 Congrats on a great job & an absolutely beautiful house.

Brilliant progress this past week! The vibrations are a rising. 😎🥰
How exciting the plumber is going in,the pipe, is to fill the pans with water ,rather than carry the filled pans to the stove !
Yaaay plumbing ❤️🇨🇦

Your none stop like a machine.
Take those metal boxes off and remove wood that is attached to concrete wall. It will rot fast! Wrap and or use some other type of spacers.
Good going 🎉
Your home will be really beautiful when finished, by God's special grace 🙏🇻🇨
Wow! Great progress! I guess it's an over the stove water spigot for adding water to her cooking pots!
Exciting times! Congratulations for you, Heather, the girls, and your team!
