Popped up on my recommendation. Wah... Really brings back memories of those ol' sitcom days... I don't remember what time was Phua Chu Kang on tv, maybe around 7pm or 8pm... Bring back memories when everytime Phua Chu Kang started, my family started to gather infront of old toshiba crt tv, some lied on the carpets, some sat on the couch. some eatings maggi.. it was fun memories!
This video popped up in my algorithm for some reason but I really enjoyed it. Very funny. I think I will watch some more episodes of this show. Is there any similar recent comedy shows from Malaysia/Singapore like this?
Sadly, both Malaysia and Singapore got ppl like roslan asron :( We need more ppl who appreciate each other's country's great achievements and tighten our bilateral relationship :)
both the countries have tis pros and cons la. alot of good things from singapore and also malaysia. this 2 guys are a good example. we know the differences yet, we can still be friends and joke about it cause it doesnt change the fact we re human beings la. haihs...ppl need to take a chill pill
It's always Malaysians making joke about Singapore and we graciously accept it in the form of a joke. But if we make a joke about Malaysia.... Wow. They're gonna send death threats and also threaten to cut off water supply.
@@dwaynethewokjohnson6646 haiya why you want to react to these people.. most of us Malaysians are mature type and we don’t make a sound most of the time. That’s why you should stop reacting to those who make such noises.
@@akeyrtainment8507 no doubt. As a huge F1 fan, i sincerely wish they’d bring F1 back to Sepang though! Haven’t got the chance to attend a live race. Hopefully it comes back in the near future.
I am not saying one race is more superior than the other. It is just the matter of protecting the equality and peacefulness in Malaysia. We already know that Malaysia is form by a lot of ethnicity and the government need to tend to each of the people's demands and needs. Believe me when I tell you that I also would want to see equality without race-based policy but I think it is not a walk in a park (but not impossible). We need time to educate people, not forcing people.
@@V3RTiGo7 not all of them.. Just more than half of the population are aware of the situation. And among them, not even 20% will choose leaders from other ethnicity no matter how bad they are, they just want their own race to become leader. Their willingness to prioritize race and religion than their own future, truly amazes me
Agreeing or not with what you have said my friend depends on certain situation. For example right now we are talking about peacefulness as well. So if you can ensure that there would not be racial flare-ups among certain race that would threaten the peacefulness that we have maintain for years, then yes I agree. I may not be a Malay myself (I am Bumiputera), but I think I know how the Malays would react. Hence the education and not the enforcement of policies.
@@LawAbidingCitizen117 I have no idea what you talking about. The bumiputera status that the mainly the malays have already shows the unfairness of the country, yet most malays dont even support giving equal rights to every malaysian .So much for being tolerant and being pushed to their limits. The only people who are being pushed to their limits are non-bumiputeras
@@chadguy45 See, the bumiputera status are worthless nowadays. Why are you guys so bitter about it? If the non bumis are really treated unequally, then how on earth all top 10 billionaires are non bumi? Whoever works hard and smart, and with a little bit of luck can be wealthy. Even Bangladeshis and Nepalese can be taukehs here. You're not treated unequally, you're just plain LAZY.
Ok, if you say that we have to pay the same amount of taxes, then according to my logic the Bumiputeras (Malays) contributed the the highest amount since they are the majority. Therefore I don't see why they can't have more benefits.
@Juzaname91 Yeah..But I don't know why Indonesian still hating us and give a ''bad'' comment in our channel..they comment about our artist and our footballer..
Your taxation and benefit distribution is not in line with the world. For example, in UK income tax for 2710pounds and below is 10%, 20% for 34,370pounds and below, 50% for over 150,000 pounds. So, for those who earn more than 150,000 pounds per year, should they receive more benefits since they paid the highest tax money? This is out of our original topic though. Back to the topic, if we both pay RM5 for a mee goreng but I get an extra fried egg just because I am Malay. How would you feel?
Because Singapore wants a Malaysian Malaysia, while Malaysia wants to adopt Bumiputras policy. And when combined with Singapore, the Chinese population will be about the same as the Malays.
Sir, this is true and I respect your need for equal rights, but just think about this, Malaysia now have the form of majority Bumiputera (including Malays), then followed by Chinese, Indian and then we have lain2. So if we have equality let say in percentage, every race have an equal percentage, is it fair for the Bumiputera who is a majority in this country to share that little amount among them compared to the other race? Do u consider that as equal?
